Those of you old enough will remember we went through a similar period from around '69-76.

Seems to me tattoos were always a fringe thing. Hippies tended to get HENNA tattoos that just washed or flaked off. Only the most hardcore hippies went full ink. Even the most rebellious kids knew deep down they were going through a fashion trend and didn't do things that would be irreversible. I remember all the way back in the 80s looking at the magazine stands of Tower records and seeing the specialty magazine for tattoo and body-mutilation "artists" and and thinking, gee, anyone who does this is really socially limiting themselves. Now the average young adult serving fries at McDonalds looks like a freak. So I just don't think it's the same at all. I think it reflects a deep-seated existential crisis. Same deal with SJWs. Nobody has any sort of grounding. They don't believe in anything and so they fall back on asserting their individualism in an attention-whoring way, whether it be tats or virtue signalling their triggerings.

This is certainly true but kind of misses my point. The early to mid 70's young women were rejecting the "conventional standards of beauty" just as they are today. The styles that they choose to express this rejection are different. Then, it was the hard "plain" look. The "Manson" girls represented this look during their trial in 1971. Today, its tats, piercings, and the thick-frame glasses. The motivation is the same for both periods.

Tattoos look fucking terrible. Its body mutilation.

They were very popular in the 80s, then they seemed to disappear until about 2009, now they are back and bigger and worse.

I don't mind a bird with a small one just on the ass below the waist as you can see it while you are doing doggy on her but thats the only time anyone will see it

Is The Tankgrrl Era Finally Ending?
February 15, 2019 by CH

Tattoo parlors are experiencing a decline in customers for the first time in years, maybe decades. 70% of laser tattoo removal clients are women.
My hope is that we are entering a new age of revitalized femininity, when (White) women rebel against the tankgrrl ethos that has dominated the American sexual market landscape for the past two generations.
I, for one, am sick and tired, not to mention repulsed, by the butt-kicking superbabes, the gun-toting NRA babes, the careerist shrikes, and the battlecunts storming Cuntgress.
I want feminine women back. Beautiful, soft, vulnerable, charming feminine girls who don’t have a stick up their asses about men.

To answer the question, what to say? Nothing, really. They made their choices.

All I do is just laugh with with a look on my face that says, "I'm unimpressed with your ugly and disgusting tattoos. What are you trying to prove?". If a girl asks me what I think, I just bluntly say "it's ugly".

Last month, I was in a SEA country for 11 days. I saw so many girls - and even older women - covered with tattoos. I was surprised to see a couple of white older women with tattoos - some with fresh ink - in this one particular tourists area of the city.

Also, there was a tattoo parlor I walked by every day to a cafe during the daytime where I saw (through a window) some tourists (mostly white, of course) getting some tattoos.

Planning on resuming my travels back to Ukraine this year after a two year hiatus. Got sick of seeing tatted up girls in SEA countries.

Is that true? I have no idea since I only came of age in the 90s. With the exception of biker gangs and other outcasts, I can't imagine they were that popular among many women.

Tattoos are nothing more, nor less, but a mirror of conformist behaviour. Females, as it's been empirically proven, are more conservative in their actions and decisions, than males, in virtue of a risk factor. They have their live preservation hard-wired and they mirror behaviour of what is conventionally, at a particular slice in time, the "norm". If it's tattoos, so be it. Yellow jackets with pebble buttons? Done. Shaved vagina? I'm on it. Hairy armpits? Not a problem. Most people follow, that's the nature of human beings, social animals that we are.

I know this goes against the grain here but I actually like tattoos. It's all just sexual ornamentation. Yes women are a hive mind, but the reason you see more and more tattoos as a society becomes more promiscuous is exactly that. The women become masculinized and start wearing their sexuality literally on their sleeves in the form of typically tacky but sometimes beautiful ink drawings. It's rare to see a good one but the good ones can be quite hot.

But there's a big difference between going through a phase of burning bras and not shaving armpits vs. permanent body-mutilation. Anyone who thinks tattoo removal is 100% effective is living in a dreamworld and piercings such as ear gauges that stretch your ears out like buddha are permanent. So sure, it's a rebellion, but one that is far more extreme than ever before, and IMHO, like I said, a sign of cultural decay / nihilism.

If she doesn't please you, then bail. Otherwise, just bang her. Try not to look at her tattoo. Put her in a position where the tattoo is not visible. If that fails, close your eyes and feel the sensation in your benis, or imagine you're banging that hot 9/10 girl from the laundromat. If asked to comment, give her a hint that you're not interested in discussing it or change the subject. They already know you think it's disgusting, and they are trying to shit-test you to see if you'll play stupid with them and are thus weak. In the rare instance where she dogs you for an opinion, it's pretty much over. Settle for the poosy she gave you and bail, unless you care about her enough to inform her that it's not her best feature, in which case you should bail because you probably value her too much. If somebody puts a weapon to you and forces you to comment, the only thing to say is that the tattoo needle is literally a phallic object penetrating her once virgin body, just like the dozens or hundreds of different men she will permit to penetrate her in her lifetime.

Tattooing is a highly symbolic act for a woman that signals “I'm a sexually active adult” and likely promiscuous (trashy). I recall some pickup writer back in the day (à la Roosh) observed that relatively lower out of 10 women will encourage higher status women to deform themselves to look less attractive, especially complimenting their extreme hairstyles. Malicious beta females absolutely encourage attractive prospects to degrade their beauty, out of spite and/or the desire to look relatively more attractive to men, by recommending they get facial piercings, shave their heads, dye their hair unnatural colors, and, I assume, do tattoos. (I say “I assume” because I myself haven't observed this particular behavior with regards to tattoos, but I certainly have seen ugly women complimenting shaved, grotesquely dyed hairstyles on women that would otherwise be attractive prospects if they let their hair grow out long and natural-looking. Bizarre clothing is less of an issue because it can easily be removed.)

Women who perform these styles are signaling that they are un-tethered to their male relatives, and do not have a husband who controls their body. That means it's up for grabs to some extent. Tattoos are like the insignia of an army of sluts who are willing to have sex with the highest-status male that catches their attention at any given moment. So, all you have to do is be that male. It's mostly about getting her attention in the first place. If she is looking for some benis, she will at least give you the time of day. Your having to see those disfiguring tattoos and piercings is merely the price of access.

As I am still technically a humble noob, I must leave out political commentary. Suffice it to say, the US first lady (think Jacqueline Kennedy or Melania Trump, the elegant and feminine wife of the alpha chad) is traditionally a trophy wife without tattoos deforming her body, and the incumbent obviously lives up to that tradition. This thread topic is interesting because it lays right at the crux of the advent of feminism and pickup in contemporary western society. You could say that the tattoo itself is a symbol of a woman's control over her own body. The act of making a permanent imprint upon her skin is an attempt to assert personal sovereignty over it, an inherently feminist act.

But her inner instinct asserts itself too, and her self-doubts nag at her and tell her that she needs to look attractive for men. Thus, she feels shame for having disfigured herself. That's why she uses Tinder and bangs strange men: to soothe her wounded ego. The girls that listen to their inner voice, on the other hand, marry young with a provider male and pop out numerous offspring, will not have numerous tattoos, or if she does, they will be artistically and tastefully beautiful and compliment her femininity.

Although feminism has a deeper, more sinister connotation that I am not yet allowed to discuss on this platform, the good news for PUAs is that (for various reasons) feminism brings with it women who are easy to bang for superficial emotional reasons. Many feminist women use random sex to cope with their unwillingness to commit to a long-term relationship which will lead to children. Since feminism released women from the control of their male relatives and/or husband, there are now literally countless single young women roaming around at large in major metropolitan areas, all tatted up and sporting nose rings. You just need good enough logistics to get a bang.

This new era of female sexuality is inseparable from PUA, since pickup as it is used in the west is unimaginable in a country where women's bodies are, socially and legally speaking, men's property. Game in traditional societies must involve rigidly structured social customs, perhaps with a small number of alpha males holding a monopoly on many fertile young women, who are tightly controlled, versus here where women come and go as they please, giving men the opportunity to snag a woman's interest on the fly. This means that tattooed women in general have more notches, and are more willing to add notches than women without tattoos. In the west, a tattoo symbolizes that a woman has chosen to unleash her sexuality. She is less likely to be a mother because she has chosen her career and promiscuity over motherhood, and controls her own body and has access to the technology to enforce her decision.

Ironically, these women secretly want a masculine man to place his unsheathed manhood inside her and instruct her how to live. I confess that I do from time to time run game on certain of these feminist specimens, but I try not to white knight, because I know that inside her she feels the deep longing to prove to me that she is worthy of my attention, and doesn't want to hear me condoning her radical ideas. Since my benis prefers feminine women with non-disfigured bodies, she eventually discovers that I disapprove of her lifestyle and her style, but that she doesn't matter enough to me that I'll waste my energy remarking about it. She must subconsciously realize that if she gets my member erect, lets me bang, nothing more and nothing less, then she might keep enjoying access to my attention. She will be mentally and ideologically triggered, but her body will likely approve if she values the masculine confidence with which I own my preference. Her instinct wants for a red-pilled man to inseminate her.

Real solid post, felix!

But I wonder if you can give a photo example of what a "good" tattoo like this would look like? What can be an "acceptable" tattoo on a girl?

Rarely if ever would a tattoo add to a woman's SMV. By definition, a tattoo is acceptable only if it does not detract so much from my pleasure that I'm unable to experience the joy of unleashing my precious juices within her body. In other words, if a girl is otherwise a 10, but has a horrible tattoo that takes her down to a 6, then she will still be inside my own personal range of acceptability to bang. A natural 7 with a tattoo that makes her a 3, on the other hand, does not qualify.

Tattoos all too often seem to be a cry for help by listless millennial women. Marking your body--arguably, disfiguring-- is a sign of impulsive decision making, narcissism, and vanity. It is a cry for help, but also a desire to fit in. Holistically speaking women are more likely to follow trends, but paradoxically, they are usually more conservative and religious than men.

We're witnessing a removal of beauty standards where each and every form of classical beauty is subverted with a counter-standard taking it's place. Long hair (feminity) is replaced with buzzcuts. A beautiful face is replaced with piercings, fat is the new thin, etc. They know that they have to destroy all traditional notions of beauty to advance their agenda. If everything is subjective the population at that point can be effectively 100 percent controlled, commanded to consume.

Keep in mind tattoos usually (and traditionally) signify group membership: native tribes, military, certain subcultures, and so on. I would wager people are jumping between group membership all the time now due to the internet and other factors. What better way to be a part of a group than to get a tattoo. It is the ultimate form of passive group membership-- it is consumption taken to the extreme.

Remember not only are tattoos masculine by definition, history, and by what they signify, but also drinking, drug use, prosmicuity etc.. For example in South/ East Asia, and many other parts of the world, there is a strong stigma against women exhibiting these behaviors. Strangely enough, it used to be that way in the US until recently. Tattooed women are the most masculine women you will encounter, and tattoos go hand in hand with feminism and all the other behaviors I described.

Social shaming has taken a new direction. While it used to be the church and the community that did the shaming, now it's the internet, feminists and SJWs. You cannot shame a woman with a tattoo, fat woman, whore, etc. But rest assured she can shame you. In fact the females will be congratulated for getting tattoos, and thus the current situation is self-reinforcing.

Hate them on otherwise stunning women. I think the "Like putting a bumper sticker on a Ferrari" or such captures it.

That said, I really don't care if a rusty, dented, 35 year old truck is plastered with bumper stickers, as long as it gets me to my destination.

I started this thread back in 2013. It says something that it regularly "trends" on this forum, rising up to the current posts every few months.

I guess I struck a nerve with this depressing topic. Well, here's some more bad news: I'm starting to notice tattoos on Asian women. Not a lot, but enough to worry.

It's bad enough that white women are bringing down their whole race by becoming nasty tattooed freaks. Now it looks like Asian women are following suit. You'd think the Tiger Moms would pressure them out of "getting inked" but guess not.

So what's left for men who like to see women's bodies in their natural state? There's the Vintage Erotica Forums. But that's not real women. That's old pics from the country we've apparently lost. (And then they wonder why so many men have little ambition these days.)

Moving back into the real world, I guess that leaves us with the women under those hijabs. Is that what it's come to now in America? Sad!

(PS: I make no apologies for preferring women in the state in which they were created. If that makes me "old," so be it. I absolutely don't get how permanently altering the female body with man-made "artistry" makes any woman more attractive.)
