In all seriousness this story reeks of bullshit. If you're alone and bedridden and your hot ass doctor crawls into bed with you... Come on. This was mutual. Losing her license is a step too far. This was an albiet, unprofessional, but consenting relationship between two adults.
Respectfully disagree here. I'm firmly with Atlanta Man in in his assesment. THere's 2 key points here that make this woman completely unsuited to be a doctor:
1. At
ANY point she when she knew she had feelz and lines were being crossed, she could have simply stopped being his doctor and referred him to someone else (doctors in the house please correct me). This would have instantly made the whole thing legit, but instead she purposefully intertwined her profession, his treatment, and the lullz/gina tingles for heightened romantic/sexual arousal. This makes an absolute mockery of the medical profession and the doctors that spend in some cases decades studying into this field.
2. How about you wait until AFTER he's gone through treatment? This is related to point #1, but after it's all said and done, you've gotten close personally, THEN start dating, perhaps when he's of sound mind and body so you can build up a healthy relationship?
On a related note, the comments on the ratemyMD website about her are incredible. If you want to see some ridiculous racial/female solidarity in the face of gross misconduct, look no further. She's a total princess who did no wrong, simply the victim of a spurned lover. Well it can't be both ways - either you have no agency and are therefore unsuited to being a doctor making tough but fair calls, or you were a willing participant in something highly, highly unethical.
Also think of the ruined reputation of the clinic and the loss of customers/revenue as a result. All the nurses and staff and other doctors tied into this scandal who will have their reputations affected. This is a perfectly good decision.
