No thank you! All of these anti-balding medications just seem to be testosterone blockers of some sort.
Lol, no. The vast majority of finasteride users do not experience any symptoms. Sexual dysfunction effects 2-3% of those who try it. And those who do feel something can generally stop using it immediately and recover. And it isn't a "testosterone" blocker.
I started using it, and it has worked for me. And right when I started using it, I was consistently super horny, beating off three times to four times a day. I don't attribute it to the drug though.
My hair hadn't receded that much, but I could tell it would get progressively worse if I did nothing. But my hair hasn't receded much since when I started, as far as I can tell, and it costs $2 a month from Target. And I still wish I had started like a year or two earlier

.
As for hair in general, besides transplants, finasteride and minoxidil are the only treatments proven to work, and even then, they're about keeping the hair you have. I don't use minoxidil because I'm too lazy to apply it daily, and the finasteride alone seems to work.
I recommend finasteride to anyone who wants to keep their hair. $2 a month, and you stop if you don't like it.
