In my opinion you guys shame her more here by topping her weak cooking skills than Roosh and QC did by their impressive posts.

Subtle, hilarious and very unexpected, well done.

Look what I found at a book sale this afternoon, fam!

I'm hoping to hell Barry isn't a Standard Leftie.

Huh, Petits Fours again.

Man, I wish I had the time, but a) I'd never eat them, and b) I'm having a hard enough time keeping up with the forum at the moment. I'll see what happens.

I'm starting to wonder if women cook to indulge themselves, where men cook to indulge others.

Should we start an over / under on the amount of pounds Mark's Sister gains over Hanukkah this year?

I wouldn't be surprised if she celebrates Christmas too, getting double the calories from the two holidays.

2 quick things on this-

In order to avoid self-indulgence, you must be social. If no one is around to try things you make, a modern day hostess cannot exist. Women of the past often made things they would eat very little of (or not at all), either because of taste preferences or the impending caloric consequences. But if it was a fan favorite, it was added to the rotation- "oh Bill and Mary are stopping by tonight, and he just adores these lemon bars."

Second, I'm starting to wonder if young women cook at all. Some years back, my mother transferred all of her index cards- maybe 150+, to a small hardcover book, sectioned out for the different holidays and occasions. She wanted the family recipes to carry on when she's no longer around. They are all hand written, and small diagrams accompany the more intricate details. You should see the girls' faces when I bring it out to make something. You'd think I just showed them the holy grail- they always look through it with a big smile of excitement as I am working the grill, stove, and oven. I don't think young girls today are getting any guidance other than Pinterest. Perhaps they have not initiated the learning process, but my guess is that their mothers are not wanting to share the knowledge- either they want a reason for their "babies" to come home since they can't do it for themselves without the "secrets", or they can't be bothered to have learned much themselves beyond the basics and have no skills to pass along.

Imagine an RVF Cookbook, LOL. That would be awesome, with serious tips and tricks that even Martha could not, not be impressed by.

The book would start the 1st chapter off proper with The Dude dropping his extensive knowledge on how to properly cook yourself a juicy steak.

RVF cook book is actually not a bad idea. Member submissions from around the world, we obviously have enough experts on the forum to know something good when they see it (veloce and others I'm sure).

Northwestern is actually an excellent school overall. It is a shame they wasted a seat in the classroom for this typist.

With all this sugar these girls are pounding, they aren't going to fit in the cramped airplane seats for next year's CakeCon Conference. Sad!

I was thinking of doing the Petit Fours for a laugh, but the recipe says you need one cup of sugar for the cake component - all they are is a cut up and decorated sponge cake - then one kilo of sugar to glaze them, and then three cups of sugar for the icing. Most of this is icing sugar, which is as refined as it gets, and therefore, the unhealthiest sugar you can have.

There's also six tablespoons of butter, then another 1 1/4 cups of it. This is without all the shortening that then gets added. The resulting calorific, sugar, fat and carb content per tiny morsel is astounding, but they manage to have only 0.5 g of protein in each one.

The human body is incredibly resilient. Look at the horror show that is Lindy West.

Take for instance smokers as well. Those who quit smoking eventually give their lungs a chance to repair the damaged tissue.

Back to what you said above, it is truly mind boggling the amount of sugar (and especially refined sugar) these chicks are using. Hot damn if they aren't on the fast track to type 2 diabetes.

The only thing I can say about anyone who'd actually cook a fucking packet mug cake in a microwave oven is that they have certainly purchased accurately: they are buying a cake that was made for a mug.

It's amazing that the feminist Puritan hordes never brought their guns to bear on the food industry at large. Salt Sugar Fat lays out very simply how Home Economics courses in the US -- the source of a lot of solid education about how a woman should shop and what food she should put on the table for herself or her family -- were first infiltrated by food industry operatives and then, eventually, removed by them. This was deskilling of women, making them less independent, etc, etc. For some odd reason this has never been touted as an element of Teh Patriarchy.

I'm travelling, so have to be brief, but here's a good chance for some Alinsky tactics to destroy her standing in the Classics Community.

Can anyone with Twitter Account tweet call her out about her silence over her brother using his wealth and privilege to steal land from the native Hawaiian population so he can build a big fucking wall around his compound?

Remember: silence = complicity.

This is the reason Hawaiian people so often hate white people, you know? This has been going on for centuries. Since the Great Hawaiian Māhele, where people with money came in and overthrew titles. With social media today, they can point to these examples and say, “This is how they do it.”

Colonialism is alive and well, it seems.

Tweet at these addresses to target the community around her, mentioning that Donna is the Editor of Eidolon, and this marginalization of oppressed POC's is what they are supporting by giving her a platform.

Don't forget her! Frame it nicely. Tell her to raise her voice in protest against her brother to stop this injustice happening.

Look for other links likely to cause a fuss. You'd want to bring this to the attention of humanities departments in the universities. (More than likely, nothing will happen, because the University would value Facebook money over social justice, but it's good to get it out there).

She's back, uglier than ever. Her new book, which has a cover that I think she designed herself, is now out.

She did an interview with "Bitch Media":

Quote:Quote:

How widespread is the ideology of the Red Pill?

There are several writers and speakers who are not necessarily part of the Red Pill but have sort of marketed themselves, pitched themselves, packaged themselves in a way that has inferred that the Red Pill will be their audience. Part of how that dynamic works is that there can sometimes be a little bit of a disconnect between the precise content of what the thinker is saying and what their audience hears and interprets it as. And it can be really beneficial to the speaker because it gives them huge plausible deniability.

But if you are cultivating an audience of out and proud sexists, then you don’t actually need to be saying anything that is quite as explicitly sexist as the material that appeared on [the “men’s” website] Return of Kings. Pretty recently there was an article on The Daily Stormer that said that Tucker Carlson basically says all the same things that they do, just in a less obvious way. That gives you a sense of how these dark corners of the Internet and more mainstream media and thinkers have a feedback loop where they amplify each other.

Return of Kings was the source of a lot of the content that I analyze in the book, and anyone unlucky enough to come into contact with [the website’s] articles or writers will immediately appreciate what a victory it is that the site has become too unprofitable and draining for Roosh V to maintain. But it’s important to realize how widespread and normalized the ideas on Red Pill blogs have become. Jordan Peterson is now spreading many of the same basic concepts that you can find in articles on Return of Kings, although of course he expresses them in a much more refined and intellectual-seeming way. There’s significant overlap between his audience and the Red Pill community. So reading sites like Return of Kings—or analyses of those sites, like my book or David Futrelle’s amazing site We Hunted the Mammoth—can really shed light on why Peterson’s ideas are such a short hop away from vicious misogyny and racism.

I would pay good money to see her debate Peterson rather than just keyboard warrioring away in her safe-space.

Also surprised she's missing the problem-glasses component of the SJW uniform.

She trying to get attention by picking low hanging fruit? I bet she dreams about the prospect of appearing on mainstream television as a expert on online mysogeny. She will always be known as Mark Zuckerberg's sister, it's a fools errand for her to do anything other than to make sandwiches and pumping out kids (if she still can).
