Typical media portraying Philadelphia in the manner in which they do. I live about 40 minutes outside of the city. There were VERY few arrests and very little damage other than a few plants and other misc. items. In fact, there were MORE arrests and injuries in Boston than Philly.

So let me get this straight.. a bunch of Millennials and "young" Gen X'ers and middle aged white dudes wearing jerseys with names of mostly black men on it rioted after seeing blacks win a game for them.

I heard one of these hardcore manly men ate poop too to virtual signal how dedicated he was to the cause.

I wonder how many of these "hardcore" fans would also let the eagles run a team train (including coaching staff and waterboys) on their sister or wife.

I was there in Philly. The worst of it was all from drunk frat boys, not the "lower IQ lower class" that some people are insuating. People were drinking in Philly all day, I'm not sure what else to expect when you have literally 100k plus people out in the streets, people forget how huge a city it is and the fact that people traveled from all over Pennsylvania and neighboring states to Philly to watch the game, even from many of those precious red map segments. It was nowhere near as bad as some of the news stories make it out to be.

This post reminds me of an article I read back in 2005 where an Eagles fan got in trouble for putting his deceased mother's ashes on the field.

But here in Buffalo, I think our team fan base is among the crudest of all fan bases. Some guy some time ago was drinking beer poured down a girl's ass-crack. She was revealed to be underage and he got in trouble.

I read that an ostrich was shanghaied from the local zoo and someone rode it around town Sunday night. Sadly, it wasn't true.

At least in DC, a big part of the city most hurt by white flight was the Catholic areas in Northeast. Though interestingly one of the others was a very large Jewish neighborhood in South East called Anacostia.

As I've gotten older, I've wondered how much of the destruction of America's inner cities was due to Anti-Catholicism. I'm definitely going to check this guy out.

Simultaneously we want to drag the top down and bottom up, but after witnessing that kind of crap? It's like the old adage "you don't have to be faster than the lion, just the guy next to you."
