I agree that in the media, and in a lot of social ways, the white male could absolutely feel like there is a bias against him. However, who is creating this bias? It looks to me it is white-on-white.

You mention apartheid and the minority oppressing the majority. In America, the only group with the power to oppressing the majority, is the majority itself.

Maybe it's time to consider the fact that there is some type of white people implosion going on, and fix that. It's better than this constant "well black people shoot each other, and cops only shoot a few" argument.

There is clearly some type of internal struggle going on with white people, and it seems to an outsider that for whatever reason black folks are the collateral damage.

This has been happening in Chicago - ever since the laquan mcdonald shooting. There is less of a police presence in a lot of the crime ridden neighborhoods. This is why the number of shootings has been going up.

Not sure if this means much, but I can confirm that not being a dick to the authorities works amazing well for non-whites too. A few examples:

1. Since I'm brown and have a beard I look like a terrorist. Get pulled aside by TSA all the time. I'm polite, even that time when they checked my bags while I was sitting near the gate waiting for boarding and when they checked again right before I boarded (they checked my bags thrice in total when you count the regular security check). I found it fascinating that by being polite I was able to board the plane and not end up on Worldstar getting escorted out of the airport.

2. I've been in the US for a decade, had one incident with the police in college where me and my friend got into a shouting match outside a club. Cops came, asked for our IDs, we gave them our IDs, no arguments from our side, answered their questions. We were polite (despite being heavily drunk) and they let us go. Truly amazing how I got white privilege despite not being white in this case.

3. I've been to Europe for 2-3 weeks every year for the past few years. I recently noticed there's military patrolling the larger cities now. And again, despite fitting the profile of a kebab (brown, beard, male, 20s) I've never had any problems.

My experience with white cops in both the US and Europe has been a really smooth experience. I've had more trouble with cops in India asking for bribes.

On the flip side, I know one Muslim kid who got kicked out of the airport a few years back. He went on and on about islamaphobia and racism. But I know this kid well and he's a drama queen who takes any perceived sleight as the gravest of insults. What probably happened is that the lady at the counter told him the flight was full and he'd have to wait for the next, and then he pulled the racism/phobia card and got kicked out for being a dick.

That isn't to say the police/TSA/military/whoever will never fuck up, but I find that more often than not it's dipshits who have an attitude problem who get in trouble.
