Manafort is a shady operative, but him getting arrested before Podesta, Hillary Clinton?

Quote:Quote:

>*The Associated Press reports that during Manafort’s work for Yanukovych, he and his business associate Rick Gates conspired to funnel money from Ukraine to U.S. lobbyists through a nonprofit organization linked to Party of Regions. They allegedly did so in a way that would evade the stringent reporting requirements of the Foreign Agents Registration Act.*

The money totaled $2.2 million, and was split roughly evenly between Democratic firm the Podesta Group—headed up by Tony Podesta, brother of Hillary Clinton adviser John Podesta—and Republican firm Mercury LLC, headed by former congressman Vin Weber. Among the nonprofit’s lobbying activities was an attempt to stop U.S. pressure on Ukraine to release Yanukovych’s then-imprisoned political rival, Yulia Tymoshenko.

Wait, wasn't today the day Trump was supposed to be tarred & feathered & launched out of town on a catapult?

Or was all the hype once again from the ever increasingly nervous man?

As expected, the charges have little to do with "muh Russian collusion" and stem back to financial activity years before the campaign.

They're going to try to cut Manafort a deal to see if he'll sing on Trump, but I don't think it's likely he has anything on him, certainly not any "muh Russia" bullshit, which is still entirely illusionary. The only crime involved would be if the campaign conspired to "hack" the DNC emails but even the supposed hack itself is on wobbly legs, and it's almost certain the campaign had no involvement anyway.

Hopefully and logically, Podesta's indictment will follow Manafort's, in due process.

As I wrote quite a number of times, I guess President Trump's legal team are (or should be) closely following and monitoring the chain of events happening in Argentina against Hillary's friend, alt-Left ex-president Cristina... and taking ideas from it.

I mean, it should be obvious for savvy political analysts that Minicelli, De Vido (jailed last week), Crooked Cristina, is a chain of criminal responsibility and evil alliances, that's a quite perfect copy for Manafort, Podesta, Crooked Hillary.

The idea being, to put each of these leftist corrupt persons in jail, one after the other, at a three-month interval or so. First, a third-rank operator (Manafort Minicelli), then the very right-arm of the evil queen (de Vido Podesta), then the evil SJW Red queen herself (Crooked Hitlery, Crooked Crissy).

I'm from the group that says throw all the bums out, personally I feel the republicans are just as slimy as the democrats. Their all out for themselves and whomever has the deepest pockets. They all come around every four year telling their lies going on Fox News or MSNBC saying the other side is the devil the other side blah blah blah pushing their false narratives on each end. Yet and still at the end of the day lies, lies and more lies meanwhile they are the regular joe on ever side at each other's
Necks based on the lies of the politicians and red meat thrown by the pundits from either MSNBC, Huffington post or Breibart and Fox News. There all scum and the sooner these sheeple of Americans realize this the better off we will all be. A third and or fourth party is what we need cause people like myself cannot subscribe to the far left tree hugging trophy for all bat shit crazy dems anymore than I can the batshit crazy Jesus loving gun fucking if You're different you're wrong republicans. Meanwhile cable tv, political operatives, clickbait "political news" websites and lobbyist are laughing all the way to the bank...

So far, it looks like this had nothing to do with the campaign.

""The indictment contains 12 counts: conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to launder money, unregistered agent of a foreign principal, false and misleading FARA statements, false statements, and seven counts of failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts," the statement said."

It's also Rick Gates.

Manafort, Gates indicted in first charges from Russia probe
Quote:Quote:

President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, and a former business associate, Rick Gates, were indicted Monday on charges of conspiracy against the United States, money laundering and several other financial charges.

In Gates, Mueller brings in not just Manafort’s chief deputy, but a key player from Trump’s campaign who survived past Manafort’s ouster last summer. As of two weeks ago, Gates was still working for Tom Barrack, a Trump confidant, helping with the closeout of the inauguration committee’s campaign account.

From ABC:
Quote:Quote:

Gates, 45, worked for Manafort’s international firm, Davis Manafort Partners, between 2006 and 2007. Gates’ connections to Trump before and after the election include his leading operations at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, serving as deputy chairman on the 2017 Presidential Inauguration Committee and joining the nonprofit America First Policies created after the election.

Charges, from the full indictment:
Quote:Quote:

1.conspiracy against the United States
2. conspiracy to launder money
3-6. failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts for calendar years 2011-2014 (Manafort)
7-9. failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts for calendar years 2011-2013 (Gates)
10. Unregistered agent of a foreign principal
11. False and misleading FARA (Foreign Agents Registration Act) statements
12. False statements

Exactly and most likely never will (you can bet your ass the Feds are putting a full court press on on both right now in order to get them to tell all they know about anything since they had hair on their balls) but still you have to ask why take such a prominent role knowing these things are in your background??..... Did he not let know he was laundering money? Did he now know what he was doing was illegal as fuck? Did he think for some reason no one would notice??...... Clearly a rookie move if your breaking the law keep a low profile, don't be out there in the spot light bringing attention to yourself.

I was just saying the same thing about the Dems and the Podesta brothers yesterday. I knew this was going to come back and bite them.

Why would Podesta make up a Russian collusion story with his lobbying background?

It doesn't make sense at all unless these assholes think they are above the law. Which more than likely they have been up until now. Hopefully Mueller will do his job and clean it all up.

Great day for the maga movement.

Kevin Spacey comes out as homosexual, pedophile and potential alcoholic in same statement (where were his lawyers?)

Manafort indicted on bureaucratic-type shit far removed from Russian "interference". Indictment names Podestas as beneficiaries of Manafort's shady dealings.

Podesta is totally safe, despite his likely criminality. He's establishment.

This is the DC establishment taking out the Trump movement. They are even more invested in impeaching him than most of the Democrats.

These are the opening moves of the pawns in a long chess game that WILL 100% see articles of impeachment. First indict Trump campaign team members for any dirt you can. Then offer immunity for their testimony (perjured or otherwise - perjured works best because they can tailor it) against Trump or others that will flip on Trump.

Even if they don't succeed in impeaching Trump, they have literally nothing to lose by trying and working the system. Trump will be distracted trying to defend himself. Congress will be even more crippled by hearings and no reforms will be passed. Mueller is likely having the time of his life right now.

These are evil, evil people.

By the end of Trump's first term I think we will see one of the following in handcuffs:

Debbie Wasserman Schultz (DNC dirty operative)
Cheryl Mills (Clinton dirty operative)
Mark Elias (Clinton dirty operative)
Susan Rice (Obama dirty operative)

Once the second term starts I think we will get a new, totally outside beltway AG who will bring the fucking hammer of truth and justice down on DC.

Podesta is probably going down for something. DNC higher ups might also, since paying for opposition research from a foreign actor is I think actually a criminal act where "collusion" (meaningless legally except in antitrust cases) isn't.

That would obviously be ideal. But I'm not holding my breath. The Obama Administration was clearly the most corrupt in the history of the US. Nixon couldn't hold a candle to it. But Democrats always get the benefit of the doubt. Democrats always get to play the "we're for the common man" game (which is BS). Democrats have a loyal public service ready to take bullets for them.

Trump is in the fight of his life against people who know how the DC swamp works best. He is going to need all his skill and a lot of luck to survive.

I wish I could believe that will happen. However, I have become such a cynic when it comes to finding justice in regards to the deep state, I expect everyone who is 'big' will get away with it.

Meet the judges:

Paul Manafort judges: Who are Deborah A. Robinson and Amy Berman Jackson?

Quote:Quote:

The case will then be handed over to an Obama-appointed judge who donated $1,000 to former President Bill Clinton's 1992 presidential campaign.

U.S. District Magistrate Judge Deborah A. Robinson, the preliminary judge, has overseen cases involving former Washington, D.C. Mayor Marion Barry and NBA player Allen Iverson, according to Tickle the Wire, a law news website.

...

After the preliminary phase, the case will be handed over to U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson, who joined the court in 2011 after being appointed by former President Barack Obama.

Earlier this year, Jackson -- a Harvard Law School graduate -- dismissed a lawsuit brought against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by relatives of victims of the 2012 Benghazi attack.
