Some online dating sites in Ukraine pay women to use them. I know a girl in Ukraine who did this. It was like her job. For this girl, it wasn't just about the money -- she really wanted a foreign guy, but in the end, she gave up and got a normal job. Part of the reason was the guys on this site were "strange" and "disgusting" (in her opinion).
