Brazil is Going Downhill Fast

Just wanted to clear up a few things about how I see Brazil now.
First of all as much I have seen a decline here in Brasilia, I would still take it over any city in the USA (that is unless I had the bankroll to afford a great lifestyle in Manhattan).
What has really become apparent (at least here in Brasilia) is a lack of enthusiam or urgency. when it comes to dating men. Lat time I came for 2 weeks and pipelined through badoo and tagged. I hit the ground running fast. The girls seemed very friendly and dating them was relatively easy. Now it is excruciatingly slow and it seems like a long slog. You get some responses, but a lot of them say, " maybe next week or the weekend since Im busy working and then have a class at night".
That is a problem because here because a minimum of 60 percent of the talent that is available is online, since the city was designed for car drivers. Day game is doable when at the mall or when you are taking a bus, but is nowhere near optimal since the people seem so busy now. Night venues here are almost all sit down boates, where people go to drink with their friends and co-workers. Obviously, I didnt come to Brasilia for the nightlife, but expected the size of the city with online opportunities and day game to keep me busy (for 1 month) like it did last time.
So here I see an attitude shift going on (one that is very quick). Hearing politicians speak on t.v. reminds me of those we have back in the US. The election of a woman president was a bad sign. You see a lot of beta chumps in this city now, and it seems brazilian machismo, which kept women in check, is waning. Women are getting as involved in careers like in the US. Use to make fun of career girls in Brazil before and mockingly called them feminisits and they said all the right things to prove me wrong. It was almost just for show, a woman having a career before---- but now it is for real. All this in one city for sure, and until I see more evidence in other cities, I wont make anymore judments. But those who are traveling or will travel to Brazil should keep that in mind
Bear in mind, I dont have a problem closing since my portuguese is fluent and I know how to game thse girls....but the level of flaking, lack of enthusiam, warmth is making my brother and I miss Colombia and SE Asia. So now in 2 weeks it is time to head to another city.
Manaus seems like the likely candidate for the 2nd month of our trip. We all know the reputation the city has....but more than that it is as isolated as a big city can be in Brazil. So there could not be a bigger contrast than Manaus to Brasilia. Hopefully, I can find a nice furnished apartment in a nice area because we will need it wilth all lthe heat, rain, mosquitoes that we shall encounter there.

Prepare for highcosts, since you are in the middle of a jungle. Some food come by plane and eletric energy is diesel based. Anyway, I guess you're gonna have a good surprise regarding quality - it's not as bad as people say.

Yes Diogo, seeing some pics of Manaus girls online... it seems all right. There will plenty of butter faces and older wenches walking the streets Im sure, but as long as you have a plentiful supply of willing 18 to 21 yr olds, youll be able to pick and choose 7s with a few 8s thrown in. Also there seems to be more skinny chicks there, which is a good thing considering the fatty epedemic is slowly creeping in throughout the country. Must be the Amazonian diet.
Though the eastern european type is my favourite, it is only a slight favourite and as long as a chick is young and hot I am colorblind.

A constant supply of 18-21 year old 7's and good Jiu Jitsu makes me a happy man. Manaus might be a place for me to check out someday.

Brazil is Going Downhill Fast

I met a girl from Brazil online early this year. We Skyped almost daily for months. She's definitely hot, and so willing to please, it was really my first interaction with a Brazilian girl and I was happy to see that the stories were true. However...I could see her putting the weight on as the months went by...all the while she's saying stuff like how she just ate cupcakes with her friend and they were soooo good. I could see it in her facebook pics with her and her friends, they were all packing on the pounds. Kind of sad.

"...it's the quiet cool...it's for someone who's been through the struggle and come out on the other side smelling like money and pussy."

"put her in the taxi, put her number in the trash can"

The girls in Manaus are still enthusiastic about foreign men. They have a great attitude. Plus, they're easy.

Just don't expect to see any hotties just walking around the streets. But at night, though, they're out in force.

There are a lot of really skinny girls, although you can find fatties too. The mall only got a cupcake place last year.

For the next two months, you won't have a problem with the rain. That starts in December.

Just remember, there are a lot of infrastructure problems there that can get very frustrating. Manaus uma cidade melhor

Thanks Bacchus. It will be interesting to contrast Manaus to the Dominican Republic (when i go there next year) as a pussy paradise. Seems like both are damn good if you have foreign looks and/or your local language skills are fluent. My Portuguese is getting very good though it will never reach my Spanish levels. I can even understand the Dominican and Chilean accents in Spanish easily but sometimes have a bit of trouble understanding portuguese on a cell phone (they speak so damn fast on the phone here in Brazil).
Did a scouting mission today with Manaus girls online and oh yes a totally different attitude and this from the 18 to 22 yr olds. Also wanted some info on what neighborhoods to stay over there. There arent many choices on AirBNB....i think Alugue Temporada is better in Brazil.

Just to give forum members a point of reference......my Ecuadorian uncle used to talk of his adventures in Brazil 20 years ago, like Ali does on his thread about the DR, except that the girls in general were hotter. And this from a short, dark looking Ecuadorian man who was in his mid 30s then and didnt speak portuguese. What he had is game. Though he is dead from all his partying and lifestyle (like Ali will be soon lol) I can´t see him loving modern Brazil.

I lived there in 04, it was a crazy time, lots of fun. The English classes were fun to teach and I rode with a bunch of nutty teachers... The lifestyle was great and Brazil was just coming into a bit of money. Fast forward 6 years, I went down for another year but cut my time short after just 5 weeks.

I met a chubby Japanese/Brazilian girl who's aunt was a raging feminist/lesbian. Was my first foray into Asian women and the yellow fever hit me hard so the chubby/feminst didn't seem to matter at the time. She was always protesting about gay rights... I ended up staying at her house for 3 weeks and listening to her rant about her education and gay rights. She really wanted her brother to be gay or he was gay or something like that. I swear to god she was also a BPD. Completely obessesed with going back to school.

Jobs were seriously hard to comeby and Sao Paolo had been converted from a developing first tier city to a corporate metropolis. This is not how I remembered Brazil. Everything was REALLY expensive and women were WAAAAY bitchier. I feel sorry for anyone going down there now. I use to eat, sleep, and dream Brazil for about 3 years solid... now the only thing that runs through my mind when I think of Brazil is the vitamina milkshake and feijao... the food is probably still good but not worth the feminist bs.

BadWolf, thats the simplest way to describe the general change of attitude of the women in Brasilia: BITCHIER. From most of the evidence out there, I suppose every major metropolitan hub has, to a greater or lesser extent, been affected this way.
First timers leaving America, who come here will say it aint so bad. And that maybe true. But to those who felt the excitement and pure joy that was once Brazil, it leaves one with an empty feeling. I know I have been living in a daze for a week.
It took 2 hours on Badoo today, doing some research talking to young girls from Manaus, to get some of that old excitement back. For several hours, I didnt give a shit about all the messages or phone calls I was receiving, from my current Brasilia prospects. Just the thought of going to a an extremely hot, humid, boring, desolate city with average girls, that I never ever considered, got my juices flowing. This because I got the feeling that the magic is still here. Just got to go looking for it, in more remote and desolate places.

Went out with a cute 25 yr old mulatta here in Brasilia. We drank and had something to eat and bought condoms at the local supermarket(pao de azucar). After we saw half of a dvd...she went to my room, was ready to go and i told her to suck my cock. To my surprise she refused and she asked me to do it for her first. WHAT THE FUCk. I threw her out, though she asked me to call and pay for a taxi. There is no doubt now .....Brazil is done by 2016.

The important caveat is that it's southern Brazil that is dying. SP and Rio and Floripa--- you have richer people who are getting fat on American style junk food and basically following the crap American lifestyle. It was bad. The obesity rate in a place in Rio is way too high. Then you have this stupid feminazi culture that is getting bigger there.

In contrast, in the north it seemed that it wasn't as Americanized. I'm sure in the smaller towns its still good. Southern Brazil though is dead, especially considering how expensive it is nowadays.

Out of curiosity, what cities have you been to in Southeast or Southern Brazil?

Rio - I agree that obesity is worsening there. Lot of girls with great potential just not living up to it unlike their counterparts in Belo Horizonte. Super high costs isn't on par with the actual city itself though the beaches/natural scenery are great. A gal I know there is actively being brainwashed with the North American feminism victim hood mentality...a personal influence from US/Canada...I'll just leave it at that...

Sampa - Haven't been yet. Will try to check out in 2014

Floripa - Great beach scene, etc etc. But the population is 400K (700K in metro area) with everything too scattered apart & people spending all their time in cars. The relative cost to lack of interaction time is the worst thing about the city though I enjoyed the scenery.

Belo Horizonte - IMO probably the best mixture of A) city life, B) culture, and C) natural scenery of the Brazilian cities I've been too. Oh yeah, I saw 15-16 attractive gals per 1 fat girl I encountered. Bar scene can be lacking, but places like Chalezinho, NaSala, Tize, Boi Lourdes (apparently some special events @ times), and Cafe de La Musique make up for it. Most importantly, obesity & feminism have not hit BH in my 3.5 day stay there via June 2013...yuss.

Porto Alegre - Got unintentional pipeline lay there in a course of only two nights, but I loved the women, city life, and vibes. Like a tier 2 place, Portuguese is a must (like BH or Curitiba). It's like BH except with no natural scenery.

Curitiba - Cold and insular place though the ppl are good once you get to know them. Most modern Brazilian city & day game is quite rough. Night game is an open market however because the reserved nature of the ppl means the dudes simply do not approach in the baladas (night clubs).

Brazilian women in major cities = Don't give a fuck about men, don't want children, lesbian tendencies, all about making money and being lonely lesbians.
Brazilian women in small cities = Loves men, want to have children but uses you as a bridge to the major cities, then will ask you for pension to live on their own as a lesbian designer.

Both are easy to have sex with.

@ Hipster - My connection in Rio said many of her female friends are desperate to find a guy & will put out easily...but that they're not all that great looking either. I think they fall into those awkward lesbian tendencies as you mentioned because there's just not that much effort put forth into making themselves more attractive, getting into shape, etc all while their expectations for men have gotten higher.

If Cariocas had their priorities straight, they could be as hot as Mineiras IMO. I guess that whole laidback casual vibe of Rio is becoming more of a detriment instead of a blessing as it's taking a toll on the appearances of local Cariocas haha.

(What we're saying can be equivalent to American women who don't care too much either getting fatter themselves too)

@yb13: I've only been to the main cities in the South (Rio, SP, Porte Alegra, Floripa and that border town near the waterfalls). It just seems the south is richer and more Americanized. I've sure if you go to some small cities it isn't as bad but the bigger places all seemed the same. Eating a crap American diet, etc.

In contrast I traveled around the North and it seemed like a different country. If you like tanned chicks you can't beat some of the girls I saw up there. People criticize Salvador chicks but you go to the more upper middle class clubs and its full of hot skinny bitches.

I get. Esp with regards to the diet aspect of things. Going to crappy chains like Outback Steakhouse is a thing of status in Brazil whereas I wouldn't go there in the US since it's a waste of calories & money.

I found the overall talent and attitudes in places like Belo Horizonte and Porto Alegre satisfying for my tastes at least esp since I speak Pt. However, residents of say Leblon or Ipanema in Rio are some of the snobbiest ppl I have ever met.

I still plan on going to places like the Northeast/North for some of the beaches, culture, and natural scenery. Chochemonger mentioned the middle/upper class areas of Manaus are full of good talent/personalities so I must check that out. Then again there are others in the past who have said the rich people in the Northeast can be brutally mean too. Met a hot older milf from Salvador last June, but she was a married Jehovah's Witness who tried converting me lol.

The Northeast states have different personalities just like in the US. Bahia where Salvador is located has super laid back chicks. But when I went further north to Fortaleza the ppl seemed cold and snobby. Heard that from a Brazilian too that ppl have that rep. So I just think it depends what area you go to. It's a huge country. I actually heard Coimbra (sp?) in the south is suppose to have the nicest people. Or was it Belo? I think it was Belo actually. Whatever.

Yeah might be Belo Horizonte apparently with the friendliest ppl in SE Brazil. I could attest to that.

Roosh also mentioned in his book (through his own personal or another reader's testimony) that ppl in Fortaleza were cold and the women were built like linebackers.

I think there is a phobia against foreigners there due to the past sex tourism and p4p, which has caused a great deal of resentment amongst locals (though the hookers obviously really need the $$$ & potential gringo husbands for survival). I have met some pretty gals from Fortaleza in the past, but would likely not go there just for sake of gaming.

Yep, part of Fortaleza's coldness is probably caused by all the guys who go there for p2p. Sadly, at least when I was in Brazil back in 2011, I sensed this in Rio and Salvador too. Not just with p2p but so many American guys are going to Brazil to try to game regular chicks that once a local girl gets burned once she realizes what is going on. Will be interesting to see post WC and Olympics if the place is ruined for good. You literally will be having thousands of American guys descending with this insane vision of landing in Brazil and instantly getting laid by a local chick.

My biggest fear about World Cup is this...

I haven't been to Natal yet, but that place and adjacent Praia da Pipa have some beautiful breathtaking beaches. Once foreigners become acclimated with the city & realize how much of a post card it is...will apartments, pousadas, and hotels increase substantially in the long-term with the new publicity? Hope that's not the case (happened to Florianopolis though....).

Looking at the World Cup Draws, teams, locations, etc....I think places like Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, etc should be safe (Also big cities not hosting games like Goiania/Vitoria). Rio and Sao Paulo might however get a little worse IMO...though I highly doubt many of these soccer hooligans will be concerned about bringing their best clothes & aiming to visit the more higher end establishments in their free time.

Brazilian women at least have no patience at all with guys that don't speak any Portuguese.

Luckily, I'm usually written off as not being a guy wanting to hook up being a 1) "harmless" Asian dude and 2) Portuguese speaker.

According to girls I know there it has declined since 2 years ( I was in Rio in 2015), the brazilian girls I meet in London often say the crime is terrible in Brazil.

The current economic crisis doesn't help....

I still wanna go though.

Very unsafe. The crime rates increased around 60% from the last year. Last week the 100th cop was killed, just this year. The situation are so bad they are trying to put the Army into the city to help the police.

I live in a good area here and sometimes I hear stories of how someone or a shop got robbed.

A few weeks ago a friend's friend got shot in a supermaker while she was doing grocery shop.
