Brazil is Going Downhill Fast

Been in Brasilia for 9 days now and though it is not the typical brazilian city, I am starting to notice some trends. When I was here more than a year and a half ago, I was surprised at the friendliness and easiness of the girls. So that is why I decided to come back to the city and this time with my younger brother, who is a first timer here in Brazil.
Women are becoming more americanized by the day here. That means more one night stands (had 2 here so far) but also the many other negatives associated with americanization. Girls here are obsessed with studying and paper pushing jobs. Girls are getting chubbier and cutting their hair. They are flakier and more self absorbed. Some dont even want children.
I paticularly didnt like Bucaramanga, Colombia but even my brother now is starting to miss it compared to Brasilia. It is a bad sign and it seems Colombia might be the best country in South America now. Obviously knowing the country pretty well, in 3 weeks I am headed to a 2nd tier city (in the Northeast) to see if this trend is nationwide. IMO by the time of the Olympics in Rio in 2016 this country is done. Hopefully The Dominican Republic, Colombia and Paraguay will still be good for the average player for a decade at more or else we will all have to head to Eastern Europe or SE Asia-
The only thing that hasnt changed is that if you are a tall, blonde blue eyed dude you will do well. But even with fluent portuguese this is no longer a pussy paradise. Hope my next month in Brazil proves me wrong.

Does the blond/blue eyed angle trump the language barrier?

Tuthmosis, my feeling exactly. Always was a happy man more or less anywhere in Brazill, but this time I dont why I am not. Makes me look back fondly at my time in SE Asia earlier this year.
Lets hope 2nd tier Brazil saves things.

In terms of online and pipelining for sure. I get unsolicited messages from 35 plus chubsters, but if I was a blondie Id get them from the young hotties. For day and night game it would be a bit more complicated, but if you had some decent spanish the young girls will give you a chance.
Language skills are great in any country for closing so that hasnt changed in Brazil. What has is that going out with a foreigner is no longer a DHV (the exception still being the NE and Manaus). I would do much better if I were a Brazilian dude with my American game.

P.S. Went to a couchsurfing meeting here on an off night and the ratio of girls to guys was pitiful. Only in Quito, Ecuador was it worst.

Just to give forum members a point of reference......my Ecuadorian uncle used to talk of his adventures in Brazil 20 years ago, like Ali does on his thread about the DR, except that the girls in general were hotter. And this from a short, dark looking Ecuadorian man who was in his mid 30s then and didnt speak portuguese. What he had is game. Though he is dead from all his partying and lifestyle (like Ali will be soon lol) I can´t see him loving modern Brazil.

He accomplished those bangs as a native Brazilian portuguese speaker with game who was from the big city (Sao Paulo and thus a DHV) going to a small town. Ali, you wont be doing things here like in the DR, unless you go to Manaus (worst quality in Brazil). Trust me on that.

That's bad news. I was hoping it would just be Sao Paulo and Rio.

There's still Manaus, and there always will be. Quality isn't impossible to find.

I think the talk about Brazil going down hill is largely an overexaggeration. There is an increasing amount of feminization and obesity in the country but not to the exponential levels that everyone is suggesting on the board. Brazil is still a poosy paradise for many, and even for choche in his short stay was able to get 2 ONS. If you were looking for an LTR you would've found that too, but you can't say that Brazil is going downhill because you got what you were looking for.

I would like to reference Roosh's post about travel hype and ask these questions.

Quote:Quote:

Other Potential Hype-Questionnaire Questions:

1. When was the last time you were there?
2. How long were you in the country?
3. How many different girls did you hook up with?
4. How well do you speak the local language?
5. How would you, conservatively, rate these girls in apperance?
6. How long did it take for you to land that first notch/flag?
7. What kind of venues did you work? Night game? Day game? Both?
8. Do you think your experience is typical? Why?
9. How would you characterize the game you applied, in a few words?
10. How much money, resources did you spend to get your notches?

Try a smaller city in SP state. Sao Jose dos campos, taubate, sorocaba or some other with at least 100k habs but less than 1M. Those are industrial cities that dont receive much attention other than from business people. Quality and quantity of girls there are superb and your gringo status should be a neutral to good thing

Sounds like maybe you are the one that changed....spending too much time in Colombia will do that to ya.

I find it particularly hard to stay unattached in Colombia for long periods of time.....while I have no problem staying permanently single in other parts of the world.

1, one year ago
2. total a year
3 about 60 total in total
4 fluent....though not enough to beat a local player
5. 6.5 they are not at the level of ukraine or russia
6 One week
7 Day game and dates from online...Nightime is damn hard if not in Rio or Sao Paulo..even then you hook up with english speaking gitls
8. I look like a typical brazilian so I have no advantage. But my fluent portuguese helps me close girls who are interested.
9. Direct game and sophistication.....most brazilians are not at my lvel in terms of being interesting or fascinating to a woman.
10 2500 dolllars a month is all you need here unless you go out every night to the top places

Bacchus I am considering Manaus. Got used to the hot weather and banging a new girl every other day in SE Asia, so Manaus seems like a decent choice (from the experience there of other forum members). Unlike many forum members, I prefer banging many young 7s to waiting for a 9 (to each his own). So Manaus might be pretty good with fluent portuguese. And also there is quality everywhere, so even places, where there are few 8 ot 9s, are good if they are accesible to the foreign poon hound.

When you say blonde hair and blue eyes. Do you mean like the Hitler youth type arian dude. Does light brown and green eyes do the job? I am a white guy, but have half puerto rican blood. I pass for the whitest guy you will ever meet. Just curious if it has to be like like a hitler youth prototype to get the dhv?

You would pass the test and a lot of young girls would give you a go in most of Brazil. In the south you wouldnt stand out so much...so you wouldnt get as much mileage out of your looks, especially if you dont speak portuguese.

Interesting thing here is that about 75 to 80 percent of the interest I get is from girls who are darker(mulatas, mestizas). In Colombia (be it Medellin or Bucaramanga), it would be 50 percent(white looking chicks) and 50 percent darker. This is interesting because there are more "white people" (about 50 percent)in Brasilia than any Colombian city.

I must respectfully disagree with this statement. Granted, this is my first time in Brazil so I have no previous stay to compare it with, but Im having a blast here. Maybe its different in other places of Brazil, but here in Campinas, being gringo is good as gold. Big all-you-can-drink parties every weekend for 25-50R, packet with a lot of hot student brazileras from all over Brazil. A bit off the beaten track and you should do good.

i was just there a few weeks ago, and you are RIGHT about the parties and the hot students! but from my time i spent there, i didnt run into very many girls that spoke Portuguese. so IMO, fluency will help you alot.

Isn't Brasilia basically the DC of Brazil? Educated Brazilians move there to work for the federal government. It also has something like the highest gdp per capita in Latin America, and 3x that of the Brazilian average. Basically a city of well off and educated women who move there for government careers. Makes sense to me that they wouldn't be as feminine and attractive as Brazilians in other cities.

Let us know how you find other cities in Brazil. Hopefully it isn't declining as quickly in other areas.

1. When was the last time you were there? last week
2. How long were you in the country? 1 month
3. How many different girls did you hook up with? 8
4. How well do you speak the local language? very little
5. How would you, conservatively, rate these girls in apperance? ALOT of 7's and 8's everywhere in rio, alot of hot girls in SP as well
6. How long did it take for you to land that first notch/flag? 5 days
7. What kind of venues did you work? Night game? Day game? Both? both
8. Do you think your experience is typical? Why? people tell me that i look like a typical brazilian so i dont think my appearance helped as much as someone that is clearly a gringo. also i had alot of local contacts that i was hanging with so i probably blended in and looked like a local (as long as i didnt speak)
9. How would you characterize the game you applied, in a few words? i saw brazilian guys being assholes to women and it worked for them, but for whatever reason, i tried it and it didnt work for me at all. so i stuck with being nice and i had much more success. some girls in rio were used to gringos so i didnt get as much play there, but in SP alot more women were instantly attracted when they found out i was american.
10. How much money, resources did you spend to get your notches? for spending money, i had $1200 for the month and it worked out just fine for me

Yeah Rio most of what you say is tue, so it surpised me that I enjoyed myself quite a bit last time I was here. Met and banged many attractive, feminine, friendly cool girls in a relatively short time period. 2 other forum members also wrote data sheets and reports that were positive. So didnt see anything here that would make it seem like DC.
Now it is becoming a DC and girls attitudes are changing. My brother is not impressed at all (his 1st time here), having been in Bucaramanga, Colombia about 2 months ago. Now I know it is only one city but that such a change could take hold in about 2 years, surprised the hell out of me. Obviously, if there is a general decline occurring the first to be hit would be the capital, which has the demographics that Rio stated above.
To the guys who went to Campinas Im glad you did well, but it also didnt hurt that you had local contacts. I still believe Brazil has a few more years left, but it has to be in specific 2nd or 3rd tier cities.
As to what city we go next, it is upto my brother because I owe him one for picking Brasilia. Will definitely be a 2nd tier or 3rd tier city.
