I keep repeating that if you take a real PolskiBus and not a third part company bus sponsored by PolskiBus (probably a Ukrainian bus company), the standard is different and the value for money is very good. Hence my suggestion about going to Istanbul, plenty of daily flights to Lviv full of "p4p seducers". You came on the topic only to moan about buses, border controls, customs. It seems like the most important thing of the trip was the wifi, not a single word about Ukrainian girls in Lviv, clubs, environment and how the hunt went. Useless information, we all know that going to Ukraine is a kind of mess, not a country for jocks.
About your last sentence, you clearly have never been in Poland; and it is better that people with such a mentality and thinking about Poland being a third world country, don't come at all to Poland [Image: tard.gif]

I see, you're Polish. You took it to heart [Image: icon_mrgreen.gif]

I booked the ticket from Polskibus. How would do I know they give it to third party or not? I e-mailed them twice and they confirmed both times that they have wifi on board. Did they tell me that I might go with third party bus and I wouldn't have wifi? No, they didn't.

It says Polski Bus on the bus. What part don't you understand dude? Polski Bus is not from Ukraine. You keep talking about third party third party like a parrot. It wasn't third party bus. It says POLSKI BUS on the bus.

I won't ask for your permission to write whatever I want in here, really. I can write whatever I want. It's not my fault if your country is 50 years behind of rest of EU countries and I certainly don't need your advice as well.

First excuse was, "Oh Polish companies doesn't want to send their good buses to Ukraine because of the infrastructure." Then I said Riga to Petersburg bus was nice, Russia infrastructure isn't any better than Ukraine. Then, you kept saying third party buses, that also doesnt work, lets see what other excuses you're coming up this time [Image: icon_mrgreen.gif]

Let me tell you again, Mr. Polish President. Poland is even worse off than Ukraine. On the other hand, I liked Ukraine very much so, it wasn't my first time there anyway.

I am not Polish, and in the past I have often expressed my opinion about the country not being the best that you can find in Europe especially due to the girls mentality. On the other end I traveled extensively in the country via bus, train, car and in terms of infrastructure I am pretty sure that your country is way more screwed-up than Poland; Poland offer by far the best quality/price in Europe in terms of transportation.
Just I found ridiculous moaning about WiFi (you can survive without internet for few hours, and in an extreme case you can use your roaming that is now free of charge in EU), and bus journey when I and other people told you several times that crossing the border is quite painful. No information about girls and important things that one can expect from a report in Lviv. I suppose you have never been in Lviv as well?
Positive aspect is that jocks aren't coming in Ukraine and FSU countries because they cannot afford the lack of comfort. Only the brave.

Dude, don't tell me what to do. I can moan all I want for wifi. It's none of your business. Poland is 50 years behind of Baltic States like Lithuania or Latvia. You were telling me that Polski Bus might use 3rd party buses, which I told you that it wasn't the case. Then you changed your excuse to the fact that Polski is sending shitty bus to Ukraine due to infrastructure. I told you that Lux Express is going to Russia with all new buses.

If a company answers my e-mails twice saying that they have wifi, they must have wifi or they might warn that they might not have it. So, I can take a flight. I'm not dying to take a bus from communist Polish Lada bus to Ukraine. Only reason I was ok taking it because I had to write several long e-mails to people and I thought I could kill time on the bus doing that. So, yes, having wifi on the bus is a big deal for me. Got any question?

You can't just say that "Yes, our buses have wifi" and then send us to Lviv with Lada bus from 1960's. If they do, I can complain all I want and it's none of your business. Get used to it.

Since you're Polish and 50 years behind of today's technology, it might not concern you a lot but we're living in 2017, so having wifi on the bus is a big deal for us. Alright? After all, I didn't grow up in a country where there was a communism. So keep your opinions for yourself and for people who grew up in communist countries like yourself. Sorry pal, I'm not happy with mediocre service like you're used to [Image: icon_mrgreen.gif]

Rossi and Giacomo Casanova, take the discussion of PolskiBus WiFi to PM's.

Does anyone have recommendations for guest friendly hotels in Lviv (no registration hassle bringing girls to the room)? Please no luxury hotels, just cheap ones.

Lvov is rapidly turning into a Berlin esque hipster hell hole, drinking cider in jam jars, dressed in 1980s denims, the boring little shits don't even get drunk, many of them are the new rich kids. Lots of foreign hipster pooftas coming now as well, in a few years Lvov will fail to resemble Ukraine at all, will just be an extension of the Krakow, Prague, Budapest route for smelly backpackers

You're best getting on a tram and gaming the poor bitches in the suburbs.

That sounds terrible. But I believe you since I see that trend everywhere in Europe.

I'll try my best in the city though, it's only for an extended weekend that I sniped a very cheap flight for. If I don't get laid in that short time, so be it.

I think bad English might be the dealbreaker with the poor bitches in suburbs.

I could not care less about having Wifi on Polish or Ukrainian buses, any seasoned traveller in those parts knows you can pick up a data sim im either country for peanuts. For doing work it would be sheer stupidity to rely on a buses' wifi in any country

In all seriousness I just don't understand why anyone would travel to Lviv when Kiev is just a few hundred miles further east and flights there are usually even cheaper.

I've not been to Lviv yet but Kyiv is a dreadful city as for what it is, it's hideously overpriced, poor infrastructure and really quite depressing, I didn't even go for the women but christ, I wouldn't want to.

In what world is Kyiv "hideously overpriced" right now? Okay, housing (esp. short term) is not as cheap as one might like it to be but remember it is still a huge city. But the rest? Uber? Like below 5 USD to go pretty much anywhere in the city. McDonalds? Lowest in all the countries measured in the Big Max Index (lower than countries like Philippines and India). A private dance (fully nude) in a tittybar: 20USD. A beer in a pub like 2-2.5USD.

You can have your own opinion about the city (I personally do not think it is that bad, especially in areas near Golden Gate, Opera House etc.) but calling it "hideously overpriced" is just wrong at the moment (things might change fast if anything were to happen with the currency)

Just to clarify. PolskiBus was a part of Stagecoach, which is a Scottish company located in Perth, and the PolskiBus buses were produced by Van Hool and Volvo. Stagecoach recently sold PolskiBus to a German company, FlixBus.

Lviv is nice in the centre, but outside of that it's a dump.

- Full of British tourists
- Full of German tourists

If you're looking for a Western city worth visiting with high-quality women, a low tourist factor, and high interest in foreigners, check out:

- Uzzhorod
- Chernivtsi
- Ternopil

Lviv has become a tourist infested city, it was never that good but now infinitely worse. A few years ago the only Westerners were sex tourists and pussy pioneers. These days you have hordes of Polaks, Americans, British, Germany, French etc etc.

We can now reasonable consider Lviv NOT Ukraine, I, along with many Polish nationalists, think it should be annexed by Poland in fact.

Chernivtsi is worth spending some time in, an affluent city with good nightlife.

What are you talking about? There are barely any foreigners in Lviv. I've visited there every three months for the past year and the only foreigners I run into most of the time are a smattering of Poles and Turks, with the occasional African exchange students.

Last time I was there (nearly three weeks ago), the only foreigners I ran into that weren't Polish or Turkish were a Dutch backpacker couple on the train. Before that (back in March), only ones I ran into were a couple of Norwegians. I was with a friend who was visiting from Kiev and he confirmed that Lviv has far fewer foreigners per capita than Kiev, Odessa, or Kharkiv (disclaimer: I haven't been to those three cities). This matches with observable reality: there were a lot of foreigners on the train I took to Lviv three weeks ago, but aside from the Dutch couple, none of them got off at Lviv: they were all heading to Kiev.

Some people need to chill out.
