Lviv has become a tourist infested city, it was never that good but now infinitely worse. A few years ago the only Westerners were sex tourists and pussy pioneers. These days you have hordes of Polaks, Americans, British, Germany, French etc etc.

We can now reasonable consider Lviv NOT Ukraine, I, along with many Polish nationalists, think it should be annexed by Poland in fact.

Chernivtsi is worth spending some time in, an affluent city with good nightlife.

What are you talking about? There are barely any foreigners in Lviv. I've visited there every three months for the past year and the only foreigners I run into most of the time are a smattering of Poles and Turks, with the occasional African exchange students.

Last time I was there (nearly three weeks ago), the only foreigners I ran into that weren't Polish or Turkish were a Dutch backpacker couple on the train. Before that (back in March), only ones I ran into were a couple of Norwegians. I was with a friend who was visiting from Kiev and he confirmed that Lviv has far fewer foreigners per capita than Kiev, Odessa, or Kharkiv (disclaimer: I haven't been to those three cities). This matches with observable reality: there were a lot of foreigners on the train I took to Lviv three weeks ago, but aside from the Dutch couple, none of them got off at Lviv: they were all heading to Kiev.

Some people need to chill out.

Man, you live in Budapest, tourist central, of course Lviv will seem less. The city is full in summer of Westerns now, im sitting right now next to an American group in the centre, almost inconceivable a few years ago. But you wouldn't know because a few years ago you had never beem to the country.

I said tourists not foreigners, more tourists in Kharkiv? Hahaha

Exactly you havent been to any of these cities. You have been to Mukachevo though, you decided to "give back to the community" by telling us that the city had fat girls, no nightlife, and the girls are tough, there's nothing to do, and nobody speaks English.

Thanks for that

Lviv has undergone some huge changes in recent years. When I first went there a few years ago even finding a place to eat was hard work. Now the place is fast becoming like Krakow, there are multimillion euro hotels and restaurants, big groups of Westerners, there was recently a international Jehovah Witness convention FFS, hundreds and hundreds of them(some were pretty hot!)

There is now an oversupply of sausage(chiefly Polish Kielbasa), and an exodus of minge, a deadly combination. Although there is some female tourist meat from other cities.

Lviv was always destined for ruination, it's geographical position close to Krakow, and now people have realised the war in Donbass poses no threat to the West of the country at this time.

Even getting a Tinder match there tough when I was there, in previous years I could date a different girl every day.

When in doubt, trust the Forney. He knows about burger shops in Budapest. He knows about the seedy underbelly of Chicago. And he knows how to do the Philippines.

He knows.

That's not how we do things in Russia, comrade.

Yes and No.
Most normal girls wont like the average Turkish sex tourist which flood Lviv Rynok this summer.
However:
1. Low end Ukrainian girls (Not low by the look- low by status, money and intellect) do like them
2. Even normal girls and I know such girls like and dating Turkish upper level guys- younger and looks ok.
One of the most wanted language course in Ukraine Uni. is Turkish and quite a few speaks it.

Maybe I can "solve" this conflict.
I was in Lviv 6-7 times in the past, most of the times including last March and Oct 17' it was great without much tourists, girls were more receptive and I felt more valued as a foreigner.
However, I have spent a lot of time this summer and July-Aug it is infested with tons of tourists from everywhere, many girls immediately avoid you when you approach on the street as they are constantly being approached, nightclubs are complete of time (better hang out in Rynok), even online game is dull.
Tip to bang: Aim on the Ukrainian tourists - many of those come to Lviv just for few days from other cities in Ukraine, they are more receptive and in holiday mood.

As everywhere each city becomes more and more westerner with time as per increased visitors, Lviv is more faster. Still, I would probably check it again from October as better season for love travelers )

Lviv is quickly becoming the new Krakow...with in addition the West Ukrainian mentality which is very closed minded. The place has been always complicated but nowadays I think that it's totally burnt.

Actually even the old days Lviv women were always the most xenophobic in all of Ukraine. This was easily proven by checking the international marriage websites and there were almost no women from Lviv on there (the international marriage women always came from Ukrainian towns / cities in the center and east).

I never had much success with actual girls from Lviv, whilst in Lviv. Most of them are stuck up cunts, and not as pretty as girls from other areas. Strange they can be like that considering they are mostly villagers squatting in a Polish city

How is the drive from Kiev to Lviv? I am going there soon and want to see more than just Kiev. Thinking of renting a car. Any insights on the car rental experience as well as driving the "major highways"? Thanks in advance.

The road is straight all the way to Lviv, flat non-descript farming land. Good road

You can take a nice, very modern train for $12. The website is in Ukrainian but you can you can use Chrome to translate. Highly suggest this.

Just go by night train and chances are even that one or several hot girls will share the compartment with you. The student girls with little money use these night trains all the time to go on vacation, visit their parents in another part of Ukraine for the weekend, etc. You won't meet these girls sitting alone in your rental car on the motorway.
Hot girls in my compartment happened to me quite often during my night train trips through Ukraine, however I didn't convert into a bang since I was mostly in the 4-people compartments with other people around too. There are 2-people compartments ("luks") and 4-people compartments ("kupe").

This could be a whole new thing of doing "nightgame" in Ukraine [Image: nuts.gif][Image: icon_razz.gif] set your odds on coincidentally sharing a 2-person compartment with a hot girl and bang her in that same night in that compartment. The odds are low but there and it might be an amazing thing to do since probably not many guys are able to say they have banged the shit out of a girl on a night train trip. Probably even the mile-high club is a lot larger.

Travel budget for these night trains is not an issue since even a trip across the whole of Ukraine is dirt-cheap by Western standards so if you're based somewhere in Ukraine with a large train station and bored of weekend game in your Ukrainian city, it's worth checking the night train timetables and just go for it [Image: wink.gif]

I heard the smog in Lviv is really bad. Is this true?

Also...do they allow smoking in public places?
