Roosh, you need to do a cleanup of posters on ROK, it has become completely overrun by paid shills.

I am 100% this is the case after having read Breitbart too and seen the absolute similarities.

They work like this on Disqus:

One of the make a "first" kind of post pushing their neocon or non-redpill viewpoint. Then all the other accounts pile on answering to that post, replying quickly to each other with inanities. They also upvote the original post.

The effect is has is that, due to Disqus threading feature, all other discussions get buried beneath this one very long thread full on inanities. This hides any proper debate. Notice how often it happens, usually with some basic cuck comment at the top.

I think you should deal with this, the comments section is completely without value now.

I've noticed several posters have started threads logging their workouts. I think this is a great idea for individual members so they can stay accountable to the community and to share feedback. A good example is General Stalin's consistency and progress since he started his thread.

However as others begin to start similar threads, the fitness section could get clogged with personal logs. In fact I would like to start up my own similar thread, but I haven't done so for this reason.

So why not create a sub-forum in the weightlifting and fitness forum where guys could log their workouts or weight gain/loss progress? Where we can keep each other accountable, share feedback, kick each others' arses when we get lazy and get some friendly comptetion going.

Few parts:

1) Make quotes etc more mobile friendly
2) Enable a time where people can scrub or edit old posts. Sometimes a touch too much information has been put out and it'd be nice to have the ability to change that. Another way to do this would be to bar the search user function from people with zero rep points (so someone irl can't just suspect a person's identity, create an account and scroll through posts to confirm, particularly in meetups or travel). I'd probably shift travels/meetups into those with a rep point minimum, just for safety of members

I suggest having one day each year where you can edit past posts.

When in doubt, post a reply to the forum lounge thread and see what type of responses.

That should probably be added to the list of posting guidelines for newbies. The first impulse of newbies is often to post a new thread saying, "I don't know if this is worth creating a new thread for, but..." If, on the other hand, they post something threadworthy to the Lounge, someone can always suggest, "This sounds like a worthy topic for a new thread."

Separate ranking categories for political posters. So instead of virgins earning the title of true player, alpha male, etc., they can get a rank anywhere between autist and meme magician.

1. Building on the nomadbrah's idea, have a "tag" function - like on social media - that will send a notification to another member if you want them see a specific post, without having to message them. But make it so that it only works if you choose to use it AND if the recipient allows tagging.

2. Add a button for the Twitter embedding.

3. Make it easier to upload photos, especially multiple photos at a time.

A 'stop me before I do something stupid- thread' or something clever that'd make more sense. 'Mod- yourself' if you will. Or be-right-back (brb) ??

Where one can volunteer or commit that they think they can't handle their act for a certain period of time and thus won't post.

At times I regret my comments and then think I won't post now but before I know it I've posted in a newbie thread.

This could put an end to the 'delete' edits. Or track those delete edits in this thread.

This could be used to find out why users leave as they'd recorded it here. Case in point, g manifesto, but my reason is more focused towards newbies.

This could be used to practice self control. Or control rapidly increasing number of posts.

Am I alone in this? This could be yet another regretted comment. [Image: confused.gif] eh no ragrets

PS: I think default home country should be changed to undisclosed as well.

Could have categories of reps. Like when you rep someone, you select an option based on the subforums. .. . game, fitness, travel, political knowledge, etc. Your score across all categories makes up your total rep, but when you click on a user you can see the breakout. This way nobody would have to worry about losing any total rep.

The problem of course would be assigning previously earned rep points. A possible solution would be to assign all existing rep points to a "general rep" category, but this category would not be available for new points. Anyone who repped someone previously would then be able to reassign categories once (reassign rep points to other members, not themselves).

Do something to separate or eliminate the "where is the easiest place to get laid" or "where should I move" threads from low post newbies in the Travel Forum.

These threads are the same questions being asked repeatedly:
- Where is the easiest place to get laid?
- Where is the easiest place to get laid in Asia / SA / EE?
- Where is the easiest place for me to get laid if I'm x feet tall, y race, z color hair, etc.?
- I'm lost in my life and want to leave the west so I want a group of strangers on the Internet to tell me where I should move my life?

These threads are usually started by guys who haven't contributed to the forum, won't contribute in the future, and won't meet forum guys. They are typically low value posters who don't want to read any of the existing free information on the forum.

These guys seem to be low value guys in general. If a guy is a "where is the easiest place to get laid" type of guy then he isn't the kind of guy we want in this community.

These questions have already been answered on this forum to the greatest extent possible. Of course the best answer is usually some variation of the following post from Beyond Borders.

I think a little self-perspective is in order here. Why don't you try actually contributing to the forum before asking us to take time out of our day to tell you what to do with your life? Men here have already posted thousands upon thousands of posts in answer to your questions.

You've managed to create a comfortable passive income, for example, enough to live on around the world - something many men in this forum would like to know about. Yet instead of introducing yourself with a data sheet about what info you can provide of value here, you ask men who don't know you and have no reason to care about you to read your life story and encapsulate topics they've covered at length many times over already.

If you want to take from this community, try showing it some respect and acting like you actually want to be a part of it first. You were in the military; you should have a basic grasp of how groups function.

You don't have to talk about anything you don't want to, of course. But at the very least spend some time reading and posting and getting a sense of how we do things before popping in with your first post to tell us what it is YOU want.

One possible solution is to make a rule prohibiting these threads and close those threads if they are started.

Another possible solution is to make a sub-forum for newbies in the travel section.

I'd strongly welcome an employment classifieds section. My recommendation would be to include the following features:

(1) Inside a private section non-viewable by the public and only available to forum members who have met two or more other forum members (who can vouch for them). If I'm hiring someone, I don't want to have to worry about it being someone who has studied us just long enough to get enough reps to gain access with a mind to doxing forum members.
(2) Automatic deletion of ads after a two weeks. That way no one has to worry about a hack attack a year or so down the road where all the job ads are scrutinized by folks interested in tracking down our businesses and ending our livelihoods.
(3) Some sort of tracking system (a separate review/rep system, if you will) where guys who do jobs for each other can give the other the thumbs up or thumbs down. I'd recommend that this be an anonymous system where points are not revealed until a user has been reviewed by 5 or more people (at which point, only three randomly chosen reviews are posted), ensure that guys feel comfortable being honest about in their reviews of other members with worry about someone being pissed about a bad review.

I'd actually like to post some job ads that other forum members (especially the location independent type) would be interested in, but am a little concerned about my long term privacy if I do so.

Maybe all the sport can be a sub forum where all the soccer, cricket, mma, boxing, wrestling talk can go.

This suggestion is going to reinvent the RVF wheel....

Hold on to your hats gentlemen..... The search feature should be able to search for 3 letter words instead of the 4 minimum

Sometimes I wanna search things like NBA, NFL, UFC, 80s, BBC, ect....

Increased Transparency on Banning of Members.

You have books banned from Amazon - and we have no knowledge as to why a great book has been banned. Luckily I got it on audible [Image: smile.gif]

Similarly , there are members banned from here, and we do not have the details as to why.

If someone was banned, simply stating one or two words, referencing the rule that they broke, or pointing to the post(s) that are related to the ban would add transparency.

Lots of previously banned guys so moving forward might be the most practical. Or details of banning guys who have passed a certain post threshold (1,000+?)

I used to like the live chats on whatever that other site was (not Roosh's youtubes), even though it was pretty random and disorganized.
Some kind of forum of different chats by topic would have great potential.

A rule against repeating oneself more then 2 times.

Some of the conspiracy types on here go into a thread and completely take it over by spamming their point of view.

We get it buddy, you don't believe the media and are smarter than the rest of us. One initial post and one rebuttal when called out is enough to make the point without dragging down the whole thread.

Repeating your conspiracy bullshit doesn't make it true. Same goes for any other discussion where participants repeat themselves more than 2 times
