Yes. It's a major problem.

The migrants, not the communication with girls, I mean...

How is the quality of life in HCMC? More specifically, what is there to do there that is fun or interesting?

I was thinking about coming out for a few months to do game, but I was wondering what else there would be to do there?

Not much I am afraid.

Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.

Hi,

I usually like to do some outdoor activities, such as hiking, running, going to the beach, or playing tennis. And yoga / meditation is something else I am into.

Also, if there is something else cool to do there, I might be up for trying something new.

And I was wanting to do a lot of day game or club game. From what I was reading earlier, all of the Vietnamese are required to take English courses in school, so hopefully most of the girls there can understand a little english. I wonder if the English skills are better in Vietnam or Thailand?

Thanks!

No hiking. The area around Saigon is flat and heavily urbanized. Running is possible but the longest uninterrupted places to do so are next to canals and rivers. Trying to jog or run through the city would be a nightmare. Also the air quality is shit so if your lungs are sensitive at all its probably not a good idea. Decent beach is 2.5 hours away. Yoga is available. Tennis courts are easy to find. There are places to do day game and club game, but maybe not as many as you'd like. People are required to take English classes but they are not required to learn English, if you know what I mean. Haven't been to Thailand but my gut tells me English there is much better.

There are day trips you can take from Saigon but don't come here for a cultural experience. The few sights worth seeing are always crowded, and you can probably count all of them with two hands.

What's the lowdown on teaching in Vietnam. Does anyone have any experience?
Reply

Lowdown ? Not much.

I know plenty of teachers and little complain about their work conditions or salaries.
Reply

I'm finding it actually pretty difficult to find part-time work as a teacher here so far. Apparently they don't use email much in Vietnam so most of the time your emails won't be checked for a week, if ever.

I've been offered some shit jobs, like 1 hour a week on Friday night, or teaching 50 fucking teenagers miles away in a public school. Noooo....

Cushy jobs are def for those holing degrees or higher, pref with some experience, and funnily enough, women get preferential treatment when it comes to job offers. Many Facebook ads for teachers ask for women only. Weirdly, none of the women responding have made any complaint about it being sexist... hmm.

So, I'll hang in here longer, I'm sure something will present itself but it's certainly not as easy as I thought it would be from all the hype.

LOTS of SJW looking cunts here. As someone said, they are fucking everywhere these days.

Press on!

Lol of course they are everywhere, as I said.
You can see swarms of them in the backpackers area. Skinny tall white guys with beards, hipster glasses and manbuns followed by skinny blonde girls in t shirts and flip flops...

And some people complain that Asians all look the same. Well what must they be thinking about us westerners...

No personal experience, but the girl that I'm currently hanging with works for a company that recruits foreign teachers to work in public schools throughout Saigon. She told me that they typically pay $20usd/hour, they only want Anglosphere Westerners (no Filipinos or Indians), and that they prefer women over men, young over old, and light skin over dark (she said, in classically racist Asian fashion, that the children "are scared of black people.") If you have any other questions that a recruiter/placement coordinator could answer, let me know and I'll ask her.

I cannot agree more! I recently spent a month in HCMC over the Lunar New Year and the European tourists were flat out embarrassing. The girls looked like they had not showered in weeks. The ultra skinny hipster guys were actually worse. More than once I had to wonder to myself... "Why take your fat ugly GF to Vietnam, where the least attractive girl is still hotter than what you've got?" WHY?

Side note... In the good old USA I get about 2 tinder matches a day with crap photos and zero effort. In Vietnam I got 5 matches a day with worse photos and less than zero effort. My sweet spot is women age 25-34. It may also be worth noting is that in the USA I usually get laid around the 2nd date. Vietnam is more like the 5th... and I would consider myself average at closing.

How old are you? Are there also a lot of expats living there in HCMC?

Gonna be in Vietnam in 9 days with some bros. Spoofed out there with Tinder and racked up about 500 matches in the past 2 weeks. I have a solid 3 dozen who I've screened in WhatsApp who are down and ready to meet up.

Logistics: 3 bedroom, 20th floor apartment in D1 about 5 minutes away from Bui Vien.

About Me: Vietnamese, 5'11, 170 lbs. Knowing the language really helps up my value. Being tall really helps value. Going to the gym really helps my value because most guys don't gym there.

Will report back after my trip.

Damn, this feminist agenda shit is creeping into Vietnam now too:

Is it the United Nations who organizes these "International BULLSHIT Days"? It's massively effective. Such a clever way to align everyone's thinking to the same fucking agendas. Like gently combing a magnet over some iron filings.... slowly but surely all the fillings end up pointing true North. Good little obedient filings....

Fuck. This. Shit.

You aren't getting laid because you still believe in "game".

Here's how I went from being a 21-year-old, videogame-addicted, Asian virgin to banging too many girls to count (no PUA bs):

Short hair can also denote youth in Asia. Think the 18 year old in her HS uniform with the short hair and big cute eyes. It's not usually a feminist statement at all.

PM me for accommodation options in Bangkok.

I just realized that this wasn't written by an Asian woman - surprise, surprise... written by some fucking British feminazi cunt spreading her sickness into SEA where it doesn't fucking belong:

Meh, Vietnamese guys usually find 'girls' like these repulsive, they are might as well invisible. No matter what some shitheads on the internet say, we value beauty and traditions. It's deep in the culture's root.

yea short hair, at least in korea, is just a trend. no real political overtones

just for me, 99% of girls can't rock it well

Having been in Ho Chi Minh, I think it's a great place to visit for a week but not a place to live. Language, traffic and heat. Hard to find 8+

However, you could def get a nice harem of f buddies in the 6 - 7.5 range if you did live there. But I think it's extremely difficult to find anyone worthy of a ltr.
