Mostly on point but have to agree with browndude that Indian girls are generally quite open to Indian guys. My experience has been much the same as his - I've never gotten attitude or had a hard time with them. The issue with them mainly is a) the prudishness which you already addressed, and b) a vanishingly small percentage of them are actually attractive. The cute ones are firmly off the market by the time they get to their mid 20s.

I honestly can't recall the last time I met a cute, single Indian girl over the age of 25.

All that said - I think if Westernized Indian girls are your thing, the UK is probably better than the US. There's more of them there and they're cuter to boot. Yes there's lots of backwards-thinkin Indians there, I know, but there's plenty that aren't that way as well.
