Wouldn't recommend going as a foreigner though
Funny enough, one of my Brazilian buddies of Chinese descent studied abroad in Asia and visited Seoul along the way.
We both knew there were some long-term interest gold diggers in Brazil, but he was absolutely blown away by the snobbery of these chicks at high end venues in Seoul; girls would not even look at him unless he bought them drinks.
This dude btw is pretty tall, jacked, and good looking as well.
Yea was talking more about xenophobia/racism, but Koreans in general are pretty materialistic, maybe more than Americans (very competitive society, people care about what others think about them).
From personal experience (~8.5 months living here), I'd say getting a girl that's like a 9-10 in the club is next to impossible without a table or some sort of money/status. I won't front like every other internet gangsta - I haven't banged a personal 9+ here (above average looks, game, etc) - granted my going out time is limited and logistics fucked. In the USA, a lot of guys (and girls) seem to have some sort of pride/ego when it comes to paying for cover/table. In Korea, it's kind of the opposite. If you aren't the one pouring alc down her throat, there are 50-100 other dudes at the club that will. At best, I'll get a real hottie talking/maybe a bit of kino/dancing before she goes to meet whoever at a table
Him being Chinese also probably hurt his chances (truth)

I am a Korean American and I grew up and lived in both Korea and USA. I go to Bangkok 2-3x a year. Most of the younger Korean guys are very tall and well built (I would say they are on par with the western guys) but it's because they started drinking milk 20 years ago due to mandatory milk program at school. Unfortunately most Korean men and women don't look like what Thai girls see in Kpop and Korean dramas. A lot of them are pretty average looking and some of them are just plain ugly. This probably has to do with decades of inbreeding and lack of cultural diversity (this reflects Korea's isolationism). Most of the attractive Korean girls I've seen in Bangkok, I can tell they've done some cosmetic work. As a Korean, I can tell when someone's Korean most of the time and I know something is unnatural about them. Most Koreans are originated from the Mongols thus explaining their high cheek bones, somewhat slant eyes and aggressive behavior. I have a thai gf here so I don't go out to hit on girls but a lot of Thai girls show lots of curiosity and interest in me in public mainly because I don't look Thai. Being a Korean can help build a lot of rapport here though. Anyway, In Bangkok, I am usually embarrassed and turned off by 3rd world country refugee behavior and manner of my fellow Koreans as they can be loud, obnoxious and unnecessarily aggressive (wife beater stereotype). I witnessed the same thing in the Philippines and Vietnam. Yeah and they have a lot of pride thinking they are better than others which I think is pretty retarded. But one good thing about being Korean is that being a Korean is like being in a big fraternity, Koreans do take care of each other anywhere in the world and you can build an instant bond with other Korean just the fact that you are Korean. Japan has been investing in Thailand for a long time and they've established a very successful business partnership so I would say Japanese men do get a lot more credit than Korean men here. I honestly have to admit that Japanese people are a lot more civilized than Koreans. All Korea is known for in Thailand are kpop stars, great cosmetic products and the ultimate destination for cosmetic surgery (many thais women are into cosmetic work as much as Korean women believe or not)
Yea as someone who lives in a family town and sees lots of kids (granted they're not fully grown yet), it's like anywhere else in the world - there's average and maybe a few naturally beautiful people here and there. Whereas walking around and looking at females from 18-30, you'd think this was the one of the most genetically blessed peoples on the planet. Also, Korean's skin tone is not as white as everyone thinks - there is something I think Koreans refer to as toner that is put into cosmetics to achieve that effect. I'd say the average is more light olive-ish complexion.
Wasn't in BKK long enough to see the bad sides of Korean behavior abroad (I usually think most Koreans are pretty well-behaved compared to Westerners) but can confirm being Korean there is mad bonus points. And yea, being Korean is awesome when you meet another Korean abroad - we have a feeling of closeness/instant connection (there is a word for it). And yea, I've seen a decent amount of Southeast Asian/Chinese chicks with plastic in Korea (though perhaps self-selecting as they go to the mecca of plastic) and a few in BKK

Men’s Style Guide: For Guys Who Want to Get Laid
You aren't getting laid because you still believe in "game".
Here's how I went from being a 21-year-old, videogame-addicted, Asian virgin to banging too many girls to count (no PUA bs):
