Just before I left, or rather, abandoned an otherwise sinking ship, there was an absolutely massive influx of North African/Arabic people, wearing national dress! Nothing against that. But they wouldn't have been able to do that 20 years earlier. Were they happy for that fact? Were they fuck. Doesn't matter. No room left now. Whites out!

There was the chance, that possibly, the multi-culti thing might have worked. And it nearly did. Until it became apparent to everyone that it wasn't going to work and we'd all just best get along for the moment, eh?

Those days are gone. As dubious as they were. What we have now is an oncoming clusterfuck onslaught of over-privileged barbarians from the medieval period (and that is just the British council workers enforcing the laws) and the muslims, be they from Afghan, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Nigeria...

They won't be leaving. And they have rights. And they will get them. And we will give them to them.

And the new Muslim Mayor will make sure of that.

The stoking of nationalism didn't have any meaningful foreign sources, it was a natural consequence of it being stifled for 50 years during Communist rule and the Iron Curtain falling down. Nationalism as a force was considerably strengthened in the Soviet Union as well.

That's highly debatable. Ottoman bayonets were the tool that ensured peace from 1500-1800, but as soon as Ottoman power began to fade, uprisings against Muslim rule in the Balkans began in earnest. To be honest, that motto is only popular with the Serbs (it's their rationalization hamster for losing three wars from 1991 to 1995), and with a portion of the disgruntled working class in other ex-Yugoslav countries. Yugoslavia only stopped being a Soviet puppet state after Stalin showed Tito the door in 1948 (the myth of our brave Tito showing the middle finger to Stalin is just that - a myth, as actually it was the other way around). Before that, Yugoslavia was the most loyal Soviet satellite state! Stalinism was the name of the game for Yugoslav communists from 1945 to 1948. It was Tito's ruthless power-mongering - see his plans to annex Albania and establish a federal state with Bulgaria, that would have made his star rise too fast for Stalin's taste - and reckless provocations against Western powers that caused him to fall out of favor with Stalin. Only after 1948 did the Yugoslav regime come up with the non-aligned movement, and invent that whole Self-Managing-Socialism shit to distance itself from Moscow. Loans from Western creditors with the purpose of propping Tito's Reich as a poking stick for the Warsaw Pact helped, too.

What Tito did in 1948 is the equivalent of a girl being kicked out from a feminist sorority group for being a general pain in the ass, and then reinventing herself as an independent, free-thinking woman who lives off handouts by wealthy men.

Now that you mentioned it, I remember a funny story I saw in a documentary about the Informbiro period, in which a separate class of political prisoners in Yugoslav prisons was mentioned. They were nicknamed the Koreans. They weren't explicitly pro-Stalin, but rather they all made the mistake of criticizing American involvement in the Korean War in 1950 and supporting Kim Il-Sung's vision of a unified communist Korea. Unfortunately for them, North Korea was a Soviet puppet state, which of course meant they got their asses shipped to Goli Otok faster than you can say 'Korea'.
