When I'm not traveling, I spend my time snowboarding all day and working 5-6 nights a week in a hotel. And in the summer, I try to get as many hours as possible in to stack that loot. The hotel I work at closes though from mid April mid June and then again from end of Sep. to mid November. So last year I had a month and a half in Brazil and when I came back I had my job. This year I'm thinking I'm going to move back to Las Vegas and stack even more loot and get some more schooling done until next year when I'll head out again.

When I was younger, I would work in construction 6 months and travel 6 months. Now I work for the local county Gov. in the public school system as a Network Administrator. The pay is good and I get a lot of time off. The only bad thing is that the time is always during the high season. The longest times off I get are during Thanksgiving- 3days, Christmas 2 weeks, Spring break 1 week, and Summer break - 1 month. I try to go somewhere new each trip. I am currently working on building a buisness in the computer field with a partner that I can be anywhere in the world and administrate.

What up good to hear we got some real hustlers on this board, I'm a rags to riches kinda cat, got most things on lock, just need to to focus my energy on women, after having put it all into the hustle game. That said, I wouldn't doubt that there are some trusties around here. If you don't know a "trustie or trustafarian" is a rich motherfucker who's family's got hella loot that has been passed onto them in the form of a trust fund, so they got's fat stacks of cash that they can access whenever for whatever. I have a few friends like this, but they are mostly lame fucks who are too scared to leave their comfort zone to travel, or invest in other pursuits that can make them even more scrilla. Anyways, not trying to hate on these types, if you got money like that and you are traveling the world and having a good time, then you are doing exactly what I would do if I were in your shoes.

I use to paypal site to make my money but i did not get more bu this way. Now i am using now freelancer site which provide me work. In this site many client give me work like data entry and web design projects. I got this site from google search. Now i get 200$ in 3 week, it depends on our capacity.

Clocked up 8 years experience programming computers and embedded systems in various domains. Got some contacts. Rewrote a couple niche business applications and sold them.

Everybody wants to think there's some kind of angle or hustle. G manifesto wants you to read dozens of shitty books. Others want you to believe you can start some stupid website and pull in substantial money on autopilot.

Here's how you make money:

1) On someone else's dime (employer or contracts) get really good at something hard and unglamorous. Emphatically NOT trading, poker, writing, or anything like that. Too crowded. Think plumbing, agricultural products, whatever. Specialized niche software in my case.

2) If you're truly good and it's a skill of any value, business opportunities will almost automatically present themselves.

3) Pounce on opportunities where you will own rather than be paid by the owners.

This plan will take you six years at a minimum.

You need to make the contacts working for someone to branch out on your own.

You basically broke down exactly what I did.

But that was kind of harsh on the books I suggested. Ha.

I think there is a lot of value there for someone who needs to open their mind.

3b) Export these skills abroad. Your industry experience and professionalism is highly sought after in many shithole countries (which just so happens to have many beautiful women). Usually, the low cost of living will outweigh the slight pay cut.

This is some pretty decent data. I remenber a phrase I once heard "those who do not take risks end up working for those who do".

I´m taking a 2 year relaxing period, for travelling, partying, etc. I´m making only the minimum money that allows me to travel.
This will be my last year and I´m finally more and less starting to realise what I like doing. Hopefully I will make a living out of it.

I agree wholeheartedly with this. You need a skill that creates value in order to make a lot of money, and oftentimes those skills take a lot of time and mentoring to acquire. Work hard, establish a niche for yourself, and you can be the master of your own destiny. But it takes experience and expertise.

Knowing people that will pay big CASH for those skills is key.

When I was 14yo, I sat down, grabbed a piece of paper and wrote this (I still got the sheet) :

- Sell an expensive product that you can have for less

- Sell a product that you create yourself

- Sell a specialized service

- Speculate

Roosh, I really like the idea of a business forum tailored to expats, freelancers, consultants and lifestyle designers. Great emerging market. Ads/ebooks/courses all kinds of things you could sell in the adspace. Build out it's own blog, newsletter, etc.

Yeah there are a lot of spinoffs from The 4 Hour Workweek. I've noticed a few "lifestyle" products promising you can live like a king on some beach.

Hell, there is a whole community out there probably as big or bigger than the pick up artist community.

I agree. I came across Roosh's blog while googling for information on trekking Bolivia. Then I saw all the PUA stuff mixed in with the travel advice and it set it apart from other blogs just purely about backpacking.

I am also working on setting my self free of the normal society, but I can only add you guys as part of my inspiration, mostly the book by Harry Brown about creating your own happiness inspired..

I think we inspire others to be more creative and innovative and I really felt great meeting guys from this forum IRL, think we have great opportunity in those who is not brother by blood, but of interest... amen!

As to how I'm making $$$, it's mainly online. I have a travel business which was doing quite nice a couple of years ago where I was making frequently 1K a day with my best day made 3K in a day. Since the global crisis started, that business has been stagnating a bit as the price is on the high end. But I'm getting aggressive with that biz again as I'll have full page ads in a some mags in the next 2 months or so which should pick things up again.

One thing I've learned the hard way is to have multiple streams of income and that's what I'm focusing on. My goal from now on is to add one extra source/stream of income to my life each year for the next 10 years. I'm working on adding a second one now, still in the travel industry, this time with a product having a bigger appeal to the masses as it has a lower price, but still high enough to make a few hundreds per sale.

I'm also at this time flirting with the CPA industry, which is a hugely profitable business model/platform if done properly and with persistence/perseverance. With my 2 travel businesses + my CPA biz, I'll reach the 8-10K$ profit a month by September/October of this year at which point, I'd hit the road again, starting either in SA or in SEA for an undetermined period.

Think outside the box guys. There are so many ways to make good coin online, but it takes perseverance and persistence and hard work, specially initially, but it's so well worth it.
