Pretty much everything that happened after paris is happening now with brussels. Its hard to feel sorry for the europeans cause it seems like they never learn and will never learn. At this point i could care less about europe. For me it's a lost cause as harsh as that may sound. Do not despair. These events are good in the way that they are pushing people to choose sides. Then who are allies and who are the ennemies will become clear and we can see in black and whites and not stupid shades of grays.

Well let's not forget after the Charlie Hebdo shootings last year, that a week after, once the rage subsided slightly, the prevailing leftist attitude was "maybe the magazine shouldn't have been so mean to the muslims."

This is known as "the soft bigotry of lowered expectations." In other words, although they'll never admit it, the leftists view the Muslims, Africans, etc, as being inferior. And that their inappropriate reactions to provocation should be accepted because after all, they can't be expected to understand reason.
