I'd like to have the ability to like my own posts. Sometimes I contribute fantastic stuff in some of my posts and it would be nice to be able to give myself a well-deserved pat on the back.

We need to change the name of this forum to

"Would Bang: The RooshV Forum"

Currently, http://www.wouldbang.net and http://www.wouldbang.org are both available.

(Keeping in mind the limitations of the software where structural changes are not easy to make.)

We need to make money together. It what makes the world go round. We need a war chest. The more money we make together the more money we can contribute to the movement. That is why we need to meet in person; in order to establish professional relationships with each other.

We need to create committees. This we are not just responding to crisis. We will have establish policy and protocol for different event. Committee on fundraising, committee on public relations, committee on outreach, etc.

A "verified member" symbol that appears next to a member's name if other members have met him in person.

What if everyone got liked for every post?

I think it's important that the likes are distributed fairly amongst all posters, and not solely amongst those who contribute usefully.

Seconded; with what's happened recently with the SJW crowd I expect the forum to be flooded with spammers and sleeper-spammers like the 'Food for thought' poster. Maybe only verified people can post and everyone else can just read? Perhaps certain vetted members can meet others in their area? Kinda risky though. I'm just trying to think of ways to avoid being flooded with shite with what's gone on.

I second the "verified person" tag or logo. it could help with alleviating permanent bans or harsher sentences and issuing 1 week bans instead to long time or potential contributing members. I have seen TOO many great members go.

Also, a "missing persons" section, thread or forum for finding those that have been banned. Some older posts are gold, I didnt realize it at the time but now i do. I wish I could find Entropy and ask him some questions about day trading; The guy was banned a long time ago. If any of you know Entropy or if he is at another forum PM me.

If you could find a way to monetize some of the data being put on here. Some of the stuff on the travel thread you cant find anywhere else. Sometimes i find myself doing a google search of the forum before google itself.

Datasheets with more pictures of the city attractions / clubs and girls will be great.
What Greek Kamaki is doing lately is quite impressive and useful.

If there isn't already, A community datasheet in the form of a Wikipedia website for forum members only.

Rather than everyone posting their own individual sheets and going over information that has already been covered, while at the same time not taking current events into account since the datasheet was written, we can all save time and effort by pooling our knowledge all in one place where other people can update as needed.

Instead of having "The Myanmar Thread" where it's harder and more time consuming to find what specific information you are looking for, all relevant information can be placed on a single page in an identical format that can be used for all other locations on other pages.

Here's an example of what a typical "Rooshapedia" page could look like:

-Country Overview

-Demographic information

-Girls
--Types of Game to Use
--Day Game Locations

-Users to Contact With Experience In This Area

-Recommended Reading

-Photos
--Photo submitted by User: WalkingMan on 12/10/18

This site is the most relevant example of what I envision for this forum: http://www.wikisexguide.com/wiki/Main_Page

I've stumbled on this page a few times over the years. It's geared exclusively towards the p4p culture, but "Rooshapedia" will obviously be written for the specific interests of the readers.

Having a wiki also removes the risk of consulting outdated information, since a wiki can be a living, breathing trove of collaborative information updated in real time.

Developing countries like the Phils and Myanmar are changing faster that people can write books about them. A fluid wiki page for each country is the obvious solution.

Using another example, I like NaughyNomad's most recent ebook on NYC a lot, but even he laments that his information on popular bars and community demographics will become slowly but surely eroded due to the never-ending changes characteristic of NYC.

I think this is such a great idea that I might consider spearheading this project myself.

Ultimately, less time searching for information through the forums means more time using it to meet women.

Sounds daft, but I think we should have a section on the forum that only registered users can see. This section should just be about the news/updates/awareness of PUA hate/Slut hate and even loveshy forum. The reason I make this suggestion is this. There are lots of young early 20s and late teenage insecure men, they can easily drift over to the dark side, where it is easy to be bitter and lazy.

We need to be active in stopping /preventing bitter toxic forums attracting and ruining lives of young men. Its sad. And this is just my 2 pence worth.

I know that the rep-points system already has a controversial history on The Forum, but after much thought and consideration, I propose the following.

Positive rep points can only be earned for meeting another member and for contributing a datasheet that receives a minimum number of likes. All other rep points for any other reason would still be listed, but only as neutral reps.

I believe that this scoring system would serve to better encourage forum contribution and community building.

The Travel forum should be private for repped members only. The fact that any random lurker can read datasheets discourages people from posting valuable information.

This is a very silly idea. You want the rep points system to become a popularity contest where only members you approve of can increase their rep. It would completely defeat the purpose of having the reputation system in the first place.

For one, if one of the sole requirements is meeting a forum member in real life, this means that your friends that join the forum would almost automatically be repped regardless of whether they added anything of value to the forum. Why does just knowing someone have any merit at all? This forum would become very clique-y in a short time.

Second, a contribution to this forum doesn't just come in the form of a datasheet "with lots of likes". Contributions can come in the form of a detailed or substantial post on someone else's thread, or even as high-quality comedy, SteveMcmahon-style. As far as I know, AnonymousBosch never created any datasheets but would suddenly drop tons of knowledge on nearly any random thread. A neutral rep for consistently posting quality information wouldn't mean shit in the grand scheme of things.

Third, rep points aren't that easy to get. You will be hard pressed to find someone with a high rep that didn't do something of value to earn it.

^^ I understand what Suits is getting at though. A rep for an actual meetup is much more valuable information for me than one given for a few posts.

Ban all the low content reaction gifs, images, "would bang" pics, videos etc.

They bring zero value to the forum and many times derail threads with otherwise good content. I speak only for myself, but I'm not here for cheap laughs and silliness. There is so much valuable discourse and information on this forum, it would be a pity if the culture moved towards low-content time-waste.

I think a good balance is having designated low-content/off-topic threads where it's allowed, but otherwise not.

Are you so lonely in real life that you're willing to rep someone just to keep you company?

The purpose of an internet forum is to share and discuss information. A forum member's worth should be based on the quality of information he brings to the public.

As far as I know, of course. Maybe at some point this forum morphed into a meetup.com for red-pill people and I missed the memo.

Yep. You missed the memo not to be a snarky arsehole.

This is a community under attack and repping someone for real-life meetups serves as an important way to vouch for someone. That was the point being made.

That's great in theory, but doesn't work that well in practice.

For example, remember Christian Mcqueen, who had over 170 rep points, many from forum members who met him in real life. He turned out to be a fraud.
