Football players apparently run the university now.

Balls would have been one of the admins or the president saying: "Okay. You're going to try to hold us hostage? Tell you what guys - No more football team. Program cancelled. This is an institution of learning and we won't be held hostage by a sports team."

Now, some kid majoring in astrophysics or engineering at MU is forced to take "sensitivity training" or " racial awareness" classes because a bunch of mediocre football players decided they were offended.

Damn kid is like ' I just want to be left alone and study for my Calculus II class I have this Thursday so I can graduate with high grades in this tough economy and hopefully secure gainful employment. Instead, I've got to go listen to some short haired beast of a woman drone on and on about what an evil, racist, bigoted, homophobic country I live in and make sure I understand the sensitivities of the other students so they won't be offended in any way or have their world views challenged"

God forbid someone challenge the world views of these fragile millennial fucks on these whacked out campuses. Any thing slightly uncomfortable to them and their view of the world and they whine and moan and demand change just like that female professor who whined and moaned when the reporter and cameraman told her he didn't have to leave.

They do get paid. To the contrary, it is outrageous these people get full ride scholarships when most of them would not get into these schools based on academic achievement. They are taking vital resources from far more deserving students who should be at these universities in their place. Scholarships that could go to top students and help mitigate these massive student loan debts are going to people with double digit IQs that don't even attend classes.

To give an idea, here are some real-world hypotheticals:

I work for a company and overhear two employees saying rude things. So I demand the CEO's resignation because he "didn't do enough" to denounce it.

Or...I overhear AnonymousBosch and The Father being insensitive at the 7-Eleven. So I demand Roosh relinquish his leadership of this forum since he's somehow responsible.

In all seriousness, what I think might be going on here is a minority coup in everything but name. Minority students are inventing ways college leaders and professors have been "insensitive," which then gives them the power to demand resignations so they can then install minority leaders.

The interesting thing is that the "insensitivity" can really be anything. So no one* is safe. They could just as easily call for a resignation of a college president for "being complacent" and not denouncing a history of institutional racism on campus which has allegedly left a negative legacy.

Didn't come out against Jim Crow at some point? Well that must mean you support segregation. That's made students feel "unsafe." So...out you go!

History is not my area of expertise, so does anyone know where else this was done? It can't be an original idea.

It's also pretty scary. However, it's sort of amusing to see three U of M professors and administrators essentially shot with their own (politically correct) gun.

A little background at the Ithaca College news. The news outlets as always have gotten it wrong. They're all mad because a cop during RA training said that active shooters tend to be muslim or black. Most people who want to become Residential Assistants tend to be of the limp wristed and liberated modern woman variety.

That was the only thing that went wrong. The pictures of this walk out "protest" were hilariously small. If you've ever been on that campus the amount of people that gathered were so laughably small they needed a wide angled lens to make it seem that the whole school participated (which they did not).

The president being a complete idiot decided to ignore the initial rantings of the SJWs who fill Res Life which angered the other closest SJW stronghold in the Student Government. As we all know, student government is a pointless club and they decided to hold a no confidence vote.

Finally, the faculty council who has a real beef with the administration held their own no confidence vote because of various ineptitude and complaints against the administration on their own end. They just wanted to piggyback off of this weak racist complaint to further their own interests.

The president then decided to make a diversity officer to save face.

Most current students don't know and especially don't care what is going on. They're off studying, working, screwing, and partying. You know what real college students do.

Had the Missouri incident not happened, the "me too" brigade at here would have lost steam and this whole thing forgotten. Yale probably would have not happened either.

At Claremount McKenna College, the junior class president had to resign over a "racially insensitive" Halloween costume. The picture is below.

Also, the New York Times also covered all these protests in a story, "Racial Discrimination Protests Ignite at Colleges Across the U.S."

A few points:

1). The good news is that this bumped the "consent" Nazis out of the news.

2). Speaking of consent, doesn't a focus on that mean it's OK to reject someone for whatever reason? Would that include because the person is a minority and you feel "unsafe?"

3). When you put both of those things together, people are going to be pretty wary of dealing with college age students in a few years when they enter the workforce.

It was one thing when kids were protesting the Vietnam war or out-and-out laws that allowed discrimination and segragation, because those things were tangible. But both the "consent" and "microagressions" crowd seem more like they're trying to alter human behavior itself, which can only lead to tyranny...or something of the sort.

Addendum: The blondes look cute, even with moustaches and ponchos? WYB? Me? Yes, but only after taking them to Taco Bell, then coming home and playing the old Genesis hit "Illegal Alien."
