No one knows indeed. The perps could be of any colour, not necessarily 'a racist white person'.

Still grimy as fuck though, the whole feces on the wall is borderline scat fetishism.

The fact that people keep asking "what did he do?" "there must be something else behind this" tells you everything you need to know. The media continues to brainwash with their left, and social justice liberal beliefs. It's like humans do everything they can to agree with what the media tells them to believe. Rationalization is a beautiful thing.

It also should be noted, that besides the idiot who went on a hunger strike, the females were the one who led this charge. Wouldn't surprise me if they talked the naive footballs players into doing the same. And if the football players wanna stand for something, they should be standing for the right to receive pay and benefits from what all they do for the NCAA. The NCAA has a fucking great business model, you simply don't pay your employees.

As for the sports issue, I believe the various leagues should just adopt a European style farm system of paid youth teams. If you're good enough to play at 16 then you're a pro at 16, simply as that.

In many ways, this one and done, devalues college sports and the identification with the STUDENT athletes anyway.

There's an entire generation of shrill, pointless pussies being raised! If you get that upset over a dude waving a flag, you are an absolute fag. And any football player seriously considering throwing away a free education and a shot at the NFL over this is an easily manipulated simpleton.

That president should have stood up to these morons and treated them like any rational parent treats a petulant child. They are children throwing a tantrum. Guarantee those kids would've dropped it when they realized no one was paying attention.

And that one trouble maker looks like he could use a hunger strike. Seriously, 7 years on a college campus that is soooooo threatening and racist - how did he ever survive?

James Howard Kunstler wrote an article about his experience at a campus last week that was almost perfectly timed:

http://kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation/g...e-maoists/

Quote:Quote:

Here’s what I think has happened to get us where we are today (second trigger warning). I think the civil rights victories of the mid 1960s generated enormous anxiety among black Americans, who were thereby invited to participate more fully in the national life after many generations of hardship and abuse. (If you argue that this was not the sum, substance, and intention of the Voting Rights Act and Public Accommodations Act of 1964-65, then you are being disingenuous.) However, they were not comfortable with the prospect of assimilating into the mainstream culture of the day. They either didn’t believe in it, or feared it, or despised it, or worried about being able to perform in it.

Many would attribute this anxiety to the legacy of slavery. Can a people get over a particular historical injury? American blacks are not the only group traumatized by circumstance. When do you decide to move forward? Or do you nurse a grievance forever? Anyway, it was not a coincidence that in the mid 1960s a new wave of black separatist avatars arose around the time of the civil rights legislative victories. Malcolm X, Stokely Charmichael, the Black Panthers, to name a few. That was the moment when much of the black population slid into what has become essentially an oppositional culture, determined to remain separate. Language is part of that picture.

The diversity cult of the day is a smokescreen to disguise this fundamental fact of American life: much of black America has simply opted out. They don’t want to assimilate into a common culture — so common culture has been deemed dispensable by the confounded keepers of the common culture’s flame, the university faculty. Much of black America doesn’t want to play along with the speech, manners, rules, or laws of whatever remains of that common culture after its systematic disassembly by the professors, the deans, and their handmaidens in progressive politics — heedless of the damage to the basic social contract. We remain very much a house divided, as Lincoln put it, and he could see clearly what the consequences would be.

Is it racist to try to air these abiding quandaries in the public arena? Apparently so. And why is that? Because of the awful embarrassment of political progressives over the disappointing outcome of the civil rights project. Black news pundits such as Charles Blow of The New York Times constantly call for “an honest conversation about race,” but they don’t mean it. Any public intellectual who ventures to start that conversation is automatically branded a racist. Hey, I couldn’t even have a conversation at a private dinner on the merits of speaking standard English with three college professors whose life-work centers on race. They had a melt-down and used a proxy (who wasn’t even there) to slander me on the Internet.

They are cowards and I am their enemy.

As for this college president, he already made the mistake of apologizing as a response to this faked outrage. I guess there is some student that is doing a hunger strike over this. The president ought to go on TV eating a delicious, juicy, hamburger, loaded with all the trimmings on a premium bun.

As for the striking football students, he ought to ignore them long enough for them to miss a couple of games, and do irreparable damage to all of their careers. Then, after he's fucked all of the people who started this, he ought to start some kind of committees of recrimination, and then call nearly everybody on campus into a witch hunt, then resign and live a good life.

This university is finished. All current students will be reluctant to even have a degree from this place on their resumes.

The one thing that has escaped this discussion so far is we are talking about shitty football players.

99% of D1 players think they're getting a shot at the NFL. You could say that these players threw away their potential NFL prospects in doing this, but these guys are that bad that they don't even want to roll the dice and take a chance.

They're the laughingstock of the SEC. They "supported" a fag in their locker room for a full year before carefully orchestrating a media leak before the NFL Draft to force the NFL commissioner to get him drafted. What kind of real football team would support an uncloseted fag in their locker room!

These guys are no different than your average SJW porn slut. They come from a shitty state and have no future, no potential in life, and since they're unemployable anyway they take their pitchforks and charge at the one man who had actually accomplished something and who's mission was to improve their lives.

Let's see how many of these football players will have become noteworthy men five years from now. And how many will be broke and/or in prison, while blaming the shit swastika for their failure to cash in on their $100K+ university scholarship.

The Romans knew about this 2,000 years ago - Bread and circuses:

Quote:Quote:

"Bread and circuses" (or bread and games; from Latin: panem et circenses) is metonymic for a superficial means of appeasement. In the case of politics, the phrase is used to describe the generation of public approval, not through exemplary or excellent public service or public policy, but through diversion; distraction; or the mere satisfaction of the immediate, shallow requirements of a populace, as an offered "palliative." Its originator, Juvenal, used the phrase to decry the selfishness of common people and their neglect of wider concerns. The phrase also implies the erosion or ignorance of civic duty amongst the concerns of the commoner.

I went to university in both UK and USA, and my American friends find it strange that most UK universities are about teaching rather than sports (apart from some aspects of Oxford and Cambridge).

Make no mistake, the attempts to force men in STEM fields to “mentor” females and preferred ethnic minorities is to remove those men from the last fields where merit outweighs political correctness. Those fields that require true brains and motivations are the last holdouts of meritocracy.

All of this talk about paying NCAA athletes is unnecessary. That action is entirely impractical for several reasons and simply not needed.

What needs to be done is very simple: allow athletes to profit off of their likeness.

What is inexcusable about the current system is not that athletes aren't paid, but that everyone but them is allowed to profit off of their likeness.
Broadcasters, Fortune 500 companies, smaller local businesses, other students running on-campus businesses around the sports teams, the schools themselves, the coaches, marketers, the NCAA, random fans betting for money in fantasy sports league, etc, etc - all of these different interests are able to profit off of the likeness of athletes.

But if the star runningback goes and signs some autographs for $500 or gets a few free tattoos? Unacceptable!

Everyone is able to profit off of the labor of the athletes except for the athletes putting their bodies on the line to make that labor. So many people throw out the "athletes need to be treated like other students" argument. That's precisely what I'm asking for. Ordinary students who are talented (musicians, models, actors, tech whizkids with a big idea or two, etc) are able to profit off their likeness or abilities, but athletes cannot?

Nobody gets a salary, but if Mom & Pop Diner Inc. wants to pay the star quarterback $300 to stand in a billboard advertisement for them then he should absolutely be allowed to take that opportunity and accept the compensation. If someone wants to throw $1000 at the star running back to be in a car ad, then there should be no complaints.
Every athlete (not just football players, but ALL NCAA athletes) is compensated based on whatever value their likeness brings. The NCAA need only sit back and do nothing - no need to set salaries, no need to hand out fines. Just let players profit off of their own likeness and notoriety, like every other student.

That will solve the problem.

Now, regarding the incident at hand, I have mixed feelings.

On one hand, I am happy to see black people actually use real tangible leverage to accomplish an aim for once. Black people love to moan and groan about injustice this and injustice that, but usually the only action I see from them is some march, some facebook group, some hunger strike, or some other inane symbolic action that nobody cares about.
The thing that black americans have hitherto seemed utterly incapable of grasping is that incentives drive behavior. Marching, singing, and "dying in" gives others no incentive to listen to you. Taking $1 Million out of their pocket does. If you want people to listen to you, you must do more than simply moan, groan, and beg them to care about your concerns. You must MAKE them care, and you do that by threatening things that are valuable to them (livelihood prime among these things). This is the first time I've seen blacks do this in recent memory (last case I can remember was during the Cvil Rights MOvement), so I am pleased that they have rediscovered it.

On the other hand, I must also say that blacks continue to fall short on the direction of their anger and the aims. While it is good to see them finally use their collective economic power, they should not be throwing said power behind a group of totalitarian SJW's like this. The list of objectives of this group is simply poor, and it shows a continued inability in the black community to focus action toward concrete, legitimate goals that will lead to self-improvement.

The very first objective is evidence of this. It says:

Quote:Quote:

"I. We demand that the University of Missouri System President, Tim Wolfe, writes a handwritten apology to the Concerned Student 1-*9-*5-0 demonstrators and holds a press conference in the Mizzou Student Center reading the letter. In the letter and at the press conference, Tim Wolfe must acknowledge his white male privilege, recognize that systems of oppression exist, and provide a verbal commitment to fulfilling Concerned Student 1-9-5-*0 demands. We want Tim Wolfe to admit to his gross negligence, allowing his driver to hit one of the demonstrators, consenting to the physical violence of bystanders, and lastly refusing to intervene when Columbia Police Department used excessive force with demonstrators.

What is the point of this?

Here is what they might have asked for:

Quote:Quote:

The University's well respected STEM programs will establish and maintain early education programs and camps for minority youth throughout the area on a year-round basis so as to address the educational shortcomings that plague minority communities, provide minority youth with a competence in STEM fields that can put them on a more level socio-economic playing field with their peers, and improve academic and professional outcomes in their older age.

Compare these two demands. From the perspective of a black person concerned with injustice and the improvement of the black community, which does more for you?

One demand merely gets a white man to prostrate himself and pretend he agrees with you.
The other gets you and your community greater access to educational resources that could go a long way toward correcting some of the socio-economic disparities that you spend all day complaining about.

This is a no-brainer, so why is it that none of the protester's demands goes in the direction of that suggestion I made? Given its inability to actually tangibly benefit your community, why is this demand about the white man prostrating himself even mentioned? Why waste the time discussing it? Who really cares if he "acknowledges his white privilege"? What does that get you?

Black America will continue to fail to accomplish what it seeks to accomplish for as long as it continues to focus on silly peripheral concerns like shaming white men and establishing "social justice centers" in coordination with daft SJWs while ignoring real, tangible issues that greatly impact real people. They took a step forward in finally leveraging economic power and doing more than march/put fists in the air for once, but there's still a long way for them to go. The focus remains off target.

Know your enemy and know yourself, find naught in fear for 100 battles. Know yourself but not your enemy, find level of loss and victory. Know thy enemy but not yourself, wallow in defeat every time.

Some factors that made the perfect storm.

-Furgeson is about 2 hours away
-Missouri football team is awful right now. It wouldn't of happened if they were 11-0
-President was low hanging fruit. He wasn't a popular hire to begin with. He's a business man so student relations is something that he failed at.
-Students most likely happened to get help from the faculty.

Schools have a lot of money because they milk rich white guys for massive donations.

A lot of rich middle aged, and old Mizzou alums are absolutely furious over this whole thing.

Institutions that cave to SJW's do not do well.

Mizzou just signed its death sentence. Donations will dry up, and its reputation was already declining, it will decline more so.

We are witnessing the beginning of the end for American Universities. The next great depression will wipe away most institutions.

They don't do anything anyway, so, its no great loss.

It will please me though to see all those smug University employees reduced to begging on the street.

It doesn't please me that my countryman are about to suffer, but it pleases me SJW's are.
