I fully support this law. Catcalling is clearly the gateway to rape and murder and handing judges the power to determine whether words are abusive is always a good move. Democracy in action, people!

South American women are a different breed then US women. It's cultural there to basically catcall and the women love it and even do it to men.

So it is better to insult someone than to acknowledge their sexiness etc.. It should be the other way around if they want to make some law.....here is my supposed catcall..... Hey ugly girl,,,you looking real ugly today....good luck proving that.... Judge.... She is pretty,,,, defense--- well, he did call her ugly and each person has different views of beauty. .... Bingo,,, innocent... Case thrown out.

The "social justice" stuff is very bad in Argentina.
A friend originally from there said that a case involving the murder of a pregnant woman by thugs in broad daylight eventually had the perps get off because the woman was "privileged" and they weren't, or something.
If things like that are happening there, this is hardly surprising. I wonder if they'll rail about "looks privilege" if this goes into effect though. A law for this is tailor-fitted for women's fickleness.
