I was given the number of the casting agent for this, but missed the close of casting by three days. I was kicking myself for a long time, but now I'm glad to have missed out.
Were you going to play one of those guys?

Possibly. I was told I had 'just the right look' and to get in touch. Scuffed my feet in dust for two weeks about it, and missed the window by three days.
This was around Nov 2013, and the film was undergoing Extensive Reshooting
a year after completing main production, to add 'more story' - never a good sign. It was originally supposed to be out in the American Summer of 2014.
Time has clearly told me this film is not for me, and I'll listen.
I suspect this movie was a better Mad Max than the new one will be. Note the imagery:

I agree with the femcentric propaganda in Rise of an Empire, but Eva Green is in no way an "ugly female" lol
Superficially, very beautiful. Repeated roles in films and tv where she's aggressive, constantly sour, sarcastic and unfeminine, with the result that her beauty was utterly-degraded in my eyes. I don't want to bang faux-men, no matter how pretty the container is. She has tits, but lacks Femininity.
Hollywood does everything it can to masculinise women: note Therzon in this, or see her swaggering role in 'A Million Ways To Die In The West', where she's superior to the hero in every way, and you get the feeling the hero really wants to be banging a dude.
It's hard to explain just what True Femininity used to be to younger guys, and why banging modern women - no matter how beautiful - can sometimes feel like a Homosexual relationship.
