Look how fat she is. She said in an interview that she thought she gained some 'holiday' weight!!

No wonder she didn't know she was pregnant as her belly is already extended beforehand. Any effects of the pregnancy were probably just thought of as health issues that she was having for being fat.

This is not a once in a while occurance. I've seen this at least 5 times randomly. When the obese are a third of the country unbelievable is an everyday thing.

I'm calling bullshit on this. There is NO WAY this woman is only 23 years old. No fucking way. Unless she was born on 29 February in Leap Year.

A few years ago I was talking to a female doctor who works in a hospital in Auckland, New Zealand. The area she works in has a large population of Pacific Islanders who, for many reasons, generally punch above their weight when it comes to obesity and lack of education. She said that it is not an uncommon occurrence for women to come into A&E with severe stomach cramps/pain, only to find out that they are going into labour. As for missing her period for 9 months, it's not unusual for women this heavy to be unable to maintain regular menstrual cycles, so it probably wasn't anything unusual for her - the fact that she managed to reproduce is both surprising and depressing.

Vinman, if you can't believe this thing is 23, you're obviously blessed to work in a field where you don't come across these specimens too often. I have unfortunately, and I've seen worse looking 23 year old women than this one.

And in regard to menstruation, it is common for obese women to have irregular cycles -- it is nature's way of telling them that something is wrong with their bodies that they need to correct.

I agree this is not an atraction woman. However I would like to point out having seen my wife deliver 3 times, and seen a number of pics of other women (family and friends) immediately after birth.... some of the worst pictures of every woman is immediately after having a baby.

And yes. I have also heard many stories of very fat women who just thought they had bowel problems instead of a baby.

One of the biggest annoyances out there are people who think it's ok to get grossly overweight due to being pregnant; this whole "I'm eating for two" is just absolute bullshit yet has become the norm.

Many morbidly obese women have amenorrhea, or plainspeak they experience reduced or completely absent menstruation. When a woman has been so fat for years, she simply forgets about ever having had a menstrual cycle.
