Webcam Modeling and the Dating Market

This is question I've had for a while, and its nothing but me just kinda of mind rambling, but Im curious what the community thinks about it.

I've noticed in the last few years webcam models seem to be on the rise. These usually attractive under 30 girls who throw on some lingerie, run a top 40s pop play list and then dance around and get naked.

What gets me is that the recording quality is usually ass, which says to me that they're not professionally produced in the slightest, and you can usually see an average bedroom setting in the background.

Now the whole idea behind these sites is that these girls strip, live, and guys pay to watch and interact. How does this influence intergender relations?

Roosh can go on for days about how skewed the market is, and I Feel like this kind of stuff skews it even further. An average 4 can have guys chasing her in real life, but if a girl is just mildly attractive she's now "hot enough" to make money off this and have dozens (if not hundreds I'd imagine) of guys pandering to her.

The ugly girls are running the nightlife scene (so it seems) and now it looks like the few hot girls left are getting all the ego inflation they ever need via these kinds of sites. Even if a girl doesn't actively model, just knowledge of this kind of thing could ego boost her because she can think "I'm pretty enough to do that"

Now dont get me wrong, I'm not trying to doomsay here and say its all over, there is no hope, I'm just curious what you guys think about all this.

I think it's a trend that just can't be fought, and thus needs to be prepared for. The only thing I can see to counter something like this is to continue to hone your game, and to make it as tight as possible. Furthermore, enclaves like this community provide a source of knowledge, and experience that can be used to help further making the learning process that much quicker.

Cam-whoring is, in my opinion, part of the bigger trend in attention-getting behaviors (and the corresponding beta or thirsty-sausage responses) that is driving up the price of decent pussy. Facebook, of course, and online-dating sites (to some extent) are also doing major damage.

Add to this the increasing fatty problem and you have a perfect storm of pussy inflation. It's no wonder we need a pretty high level of game to snare a mere 7, or even a 6, these days.

So, yes, I agree: cam-whoring is playing a role. It's another thing making it easier for decent-looking girls to get attention, blow up their egos, and disrupt the sex market in the process.

This phenomenon sounds pretty niche, but it's of a feather with online dating, Facebook, and other social media, when used by cute girls. All those taken together have a pretty potent impact. Another huge factor that often goes unnoticed is how with texting and FB chatting girls are constantly in touch with their friends, infantilizing them even more (read: making them bigger retards than their counterparts from previous generations).

It's easy to blame guys for this, but among the girls I've known, 95%+ of the social media whoring is done among female friends. That means chicks commenting on each other's pictures "hottt," "Cara you're beautiful!!" Everyone keeps blaming lame dudes, but a lot of this goes on completely independent of them.
