In the meantime, I'm stuck in Central Europe.
Online dating here is worth another shot but its much less effective than in the FSU.

Will probably pipeline more for the FSU and work out a lot while I wait. I'm about 2 months of slow and steady dieting away from visible abs. Never been this fit in my life, all the free time really helps.

You may want to get more specific here. Will you make guy friends? Old or young? Will it just be basic friendship or will the deal be they help you get girls in exchange for something?

Will you make friends with average girls with the hopes of banging their hottie friends? Couchsurfing meetups?

I have a specific plan but still working the details.

Hmm, I was thinking of young guy friends and asking them to show me the ropes. It would be nice to make some regular friends, but if not I can offer to pay guys/girls for being my guide. But clearly the best option is joining interest groups (I saw a fishing group) and teaching English in conversation clubs.

No couchsurfing.Just checked CS now, only 36 people on from that city and only 2 decent girls). May try when travelling to other cities.

Mamba has worked great for me thus far and led to meetings with girls.

I would say if you speak Russian, then hit the bigger cities. Being a foreigner is still a pretty big turn on in every FSU city I went to. The only problem was the language barrier, which won't be an issue for you. Any advantage you'd get by going to a third-tier city would be negated... not to mention third tier cities in the FSU are probably dumps.

Well, its the bigger sized secondary cities I'm interested in..still decent sized cities.
Also, the girls seem much better than in the capital. They dress a lot sexier..its like they pull out all the stops to attract a halfway decent guy.

Unlike most I would say of you can speak Russian go for it get a Russian wife, I think if you get a good one they are the best women on the world but unless you really know whats what then you may well regret it but thats life.
If you have plenty of money you can easily find a wife in Russia or Ukraine but don't expect to keep your money too long remember that buying your Russian girlfrinds 'cousin' a new car and letting him stay in your flat is entirely normal . Good luck but you won't need it I am sure, just make sure you wear a USA flag on your person at all times so they can tell you are American.
