I'm happy to see these guys pull quality girls. I mean they've more than likely been already wiped out in divorce by their ex whale of a wife and are now living the good life in Colombia. They sure as hell wouldn't get any action from quality women in the US/Canada so for them, Colombia is perfect. Sure they may be paying for it, but what they're getting in return (the proverbial GFE or girl friend experience) for the paltry amounts they're paying, they are more than happy to do so. After all, they've been paying much much more for a truly mediocre product all these years for their ex-wife.

At least, they took the initiative to go elsewhere to have a quality lifestyle and are not like the majority of guys who remain in North America and live lives that are devoid of any fun, let alone quality, young, sexy and feminine women like these. It's unbelievable. My roommate was 57, but his friend was 75, banging 8's, 20 years old (Sometimes younger). Dude was fat and disgusting. You're right. At that age, if you've been divorced in your 40's and now you're 60, I guess why not right? Your alternative is banging other 50 or 60 year olds. The whore mongers I knew in Colombia were usually divorced late in life. The funny thing is, these girls are probably mad cheap too. You can get hookers under $20, not quit the quality you see here, but still not bad. I bet for those guys to have a round with most of those girls, they weren't paying more than $50. My roommate would have girls come over and spend the night for $30-50. When I went to Medellin ten years ago, I never once saw a gringo. At that time, all the Americans were going to Cali which had a healthy cluster of marriage agencies. The sex tourists moved in and basically destroyed the whole marriage agency scene making the women jaded, after which they starting moving to Medellin. One thing I noticed about the P4P and sex tourism scene in Colombia was that its nowhere as prevalent and in-your-face as it is in SE Asia and the strip clubs are full of locals, unlike what I saw in Thailand.

For example, if you go to Soi Nana or soi cowboy in BKK, the entire clientele in the whore bars and strip clubs are foreigners, you won't see any Thai guys, or very few anyway. They probably have their own places to go.

In Colombia, if you go to the red light district in Bogota (Santa Fe) or the strip clubs in centro Medellin, you may be one of the only foreigners in there, the place will be packed with local men. Its kinda of funny because the Colombian guys will be drinking heavily, some openly snorting coke off the back of their hands and they dance with the hookers and make out with them. Then they head upstairs for some action.

Anyway, prostitution is legal down there and has been going on a long time before the hordes of Gringos arrived and will certainly continue if the sex tourism stops, which is unlikely IMO.

I find Asian strip clubs to be quite boring, unless you go to one of the freaky ones in Thailand where the girls shoot bananas out of their beavers and do other crazy shit like pull razors out and blow out candles with their snatches. I'm relishing the challenge of going to Colombia. Obviously its not a good thing that these news stations are grouping all white guys together in one group, but the calling out of sex tourists could honestly have a positive spin. The guys with no game will be weeded out and forced to go p4p, leaving those of us with good spanish and local links the opportunity to absolutely kill it. I am no expert on Colombia but after living here for some time I have noticed a few things...and i know this has been said many times before....but... You will have more options on what type of girl you can get if your spanish is decent, you present yourself in a decent manner, and the big one....they know your going to be here for awhile (i.e. you live in the country, have a business/vested interest in the country, or a retiree). Are there exceptions to the rule, yes of course....but generally speaking your not going to meet a solid girl with her shit together if your just passing through for a 1-2 week visit.

Yes, you can get with a low end/poor barrio chica or a hot prepago if thats your thing, to each his own there are tons of those girls and yes they are hot and plentiful....good on the older guys....they are enjoying themselves, and really are not hurting anyone.....until your 60-70 years old, I would hold back judging these guys.....I know I am still gonna be attracted to young 20-30 yrs old women at that age....

As far as the prostitution thing.....the gringos make up such a small portion of the p4p market....maybe like 3%. The rest are Colombians. I can tell you most of the punters I see are colombian dudes, in Bogota there are thousands upon thousands of working girls from registered girls in Zona tolerencia (red light) to hostess bars, casa's, massage parlors, freelancers in high end clubs....they are everywhere......and who are the ones mostly using there services...Colombian men.

the thing is Colombian men are not as flagarant with their whores, they dont take them to the food court at the mall, or out to the high end shopping malls on saturday morning....they bang them in the casa's, or love motels and keep it on the down low.

I love Colombia for the fact you have tons of freedom and choices. I agree, a lot of gringos likely don't want to be out at the rough strip clubs slumming it with the locals and prefer to have the whores sent directly to their room or wherever out of safety concerns. They also are more willing to shell out the cash for the higher end hookers. Do you mean that gringos account for 40% of the prostitution clientele or that 40% of gringos partake in it?

This 2nd girl has invited me to visit, and basically said she will set me up with any/all of her friends. She is kind of a hippie/pothead/wild one, and I'm interested to see what her social circle is like. Girl #1, although she is from Santa Marta, much of her family is in Cali, and she has also generously offered to set me up with her cousins etc... male and female, to hang with. I am having a hard time getting enough time freed up to go for the 2 or 3 weeks at least I would like to, but I am very excited at the prospect of heading down there and already having some local contacts, which will hopefully cut out some of the courtship. Spanish is solid, & dancing is bad but improved thanks to DR. I think I'm going to skip Medellin, the last few threads on it make it sound like it's getting played out a bit.

Have you been to Colombia? My whore monger roommate never paid more than $50 for prostitutes and he would get the same quality here and there. I've seen him take home girls of the same quality for 2 hours for $45, dude spoke almost 0 Spanish too. If these dudes are just banging, they probably aren't paying much more. If they are paying them to hang out, then probably are. The reason girls sell themselves so cheap is because a good chunk of the population making $10 a day, so $50 is a weeks worth of pay for a lot of people. These guys are obviously veteran whore mongers, they know what they should be paying. Maybe they're paying $70, but I wouldn't think much more than that if they're just banging.
