okay, datasheet beta after 2 days in Vina:

-great weather
-hard to find apartments
-good apartments are 200-300% more expensive in dec-march, very cheap apartments after
-very cheap and good food
-expensive taxis
-good metro, good buses
-girls are more on the average side, slightly below average, many sevens, not that many eights. But well: i was living before in argentina and it was way tougher for me to meet beautifull girls than in Peru (with bad average)
-they use eye contact
-they seem to be very very friendly. Or everybody here seems to be very friendly. Perhaps too friendly, they are not tough enough :-) It´s more like walking through a fairtale city where houses are out of ginger bread.

Pickup on the beach is pretty tough because too many people on not enough space.
Many families, classic tourist place but a very good one.
City is clean, well structured, beautifull.

I met 2 times a girl out of a very "lost tourist-"approach... was very easy.

I put up a thread about this a while ago. This is where you would go if you happened to be in Chile. I wouldn't go for any other reason. Better off in Argentina or Brazil in general.

i was in valpo two times in the past two weeks. i hit up "el huevo" last saturday and had a blast. it's the biggest disco in valpo with 4 floors and they play all types of music. there were a lot of girls from santiago that were fun to hang/party with. i would definitely check this place out.

Yup. I've been to el huevo. Huge warehouse style modern venue. Pretty cool spot. We also went to a place nearby called the Swedish Hotel or the Swedish Bar. My boy paid like $120 for a pro there.

El Huevo is a great club. If it weren't for that place I would say night game is not a good option in Valpo.

If you're going to Valpo/Viña now you'd best hurry up because the students are getting out for summer break in February and the place might become a ghost town (or all the students from Santiago might flood in--I'm not sure, I haven't been there while school's been out).

I have no clue why chile is so bad from the point of view of most people.

Great weather, cheap, nice girls, beautifull for travelling, girls seems to be very sexual.

The whole thing i red about Chile in Pickup forums seems totally wrong to me.

So i feel a little bit forced to defend this country because i like it :-)
