Hello all, new user, been reading Roosh, Roissy and MPM for about a year now and I'm a fan, but I'm not here to kiss ass, I'm here for insight.
Let me set up a hypothetical situation; You meet a girl, hit it off, have good rapport and later you number close. After a few days you're texting and calling each other, no bang yet but the bang is imminent. Attraction has been generated, the battle has already been won and even if you haven't gotten between her legs, it's just a matter of time. Only logistics and a lack of face-time are holding you back.
The other day, a protege and I were debating just exactly how a guy can fuck up attraction like the hypothetical I just illustrated. He's about 11 years younger* than I am and far less experienced, and we usually end up riffing on the game at some point whenever we hang. He listed myriad reasons on how you can fuck up previously-generated attraction ranging from the superficial ('dressing like a slob'), to the not-half-bad ('stifling her with attention') to the counterproductive ('not giving her enough attention'). The guy is well on his way, but these are just a sample of his responses on how to botch attraction you've already generated.
* (younger cousin's friend, weed conex)
He wasn't bad; at least he's thinking, but like many men who are green to game, he's OVERTHINKING. From a sheer numbers perspective I do just fine, but my experiences are hardly considerable. In them I've found that there really is only ONE way, one thing that 100% of the time will nuke her positive feelings to you; constantly bombarding her with texts, calls and messages, basically his 'stifling her with attention' response. In my experience while other actions can only dig you a hole and cripple the attraction, only constantly pestering her beta-male style can truly kill it.
(It's also worth mentioning that this tactic works well when you actaully WANT to get rid of a girl and I have used it to that effect. Also important is that it can backfire in a huge way if she has girlfriends or a sister that you want to bang, so use it carefully. We all know how girls like to talk.)
But everyone is different. Women stay with men who sleep with their roommates, they stay with men who hit them, they stay with men who are flaky and emotionally absent. Women also leave men every day for these same reasons. To be honest, I find it's almost easier to fuck up attraction than it is to generate it, so this is probably a pretty big stumbling block for many of us. I honestly feel like I've dropped the ball on attraction that was already there more than I've failed to get the initial attraction going, but that may just be me.
Is there anything else, aside from a bombardment of sappy attention that can kill the attraction? Remember I'm not talking things that cool the attraction (where you just fall back and call her in a few weeks nonchalantly if she's quality or you're low on options), things that totally kill it; 'I was gonna fuck your brains out but now it's never gonna happen because of _________.' type stuff.
