Santiago, DR adventures

So it would cost me $150 to postpone my flight out. Plus, I would miss the first few days of school. Sadly I think i'm gonna have to pack it in. I had a great run down here in the DR and i'm not looking forward to going back to Southern California.
This city is not cheap when you are hanging out with girls everyday. I spent about $50 at Hooters yesterday with a girl for drinks and food (I really wanted to watch football). Then $25 more for more drinks afterwards. Plus my $50 hotel room per night. I'm guessing I would spend another $550 if i stay another week. Is it worth it?
Well, shit I think it is.. maybe i should stay?
Maybe i'll base my decision based on how the hot girls I will meet tonight at a private rooftop party treat me..

50 dollars a night for a hotel room? If you are on the budget, you could just find a hostel for $20 a night. Its DR, come on.

I love this hotel though. Great deal for under $50 a night. Plus it is right next to my hang out spots. Is there a website where I can look at cheap accomodations?

Comparison with Puerto Rico? . . . .

I lived in PR for 2 years and spent only only 3 days in Santo Domingo during that time, so I'm not really familiar with the pros/cons of DR versus PR. Would be interested in comparing notes with anyone who knows the DR really well; interested in exploring it more, since I'm Spanish-fluent, particularly in the PR/DR dialect.

In general, Rican girls have all the stereotypes of Latina culture (coy, flirtatious, virgin/whore complex, sexy dressers, passionate), but with US Anglo-Saxon bitch-shield feminist/entitlement mentality weirdly grafted on top of that. That's due to the long-term mixing of cultures and families moving back and forth between PR and the mainland, particularly Newyoricans.

PR society is extremely socially stratified with a small percentage of white Europeans (mostly descendants of Spanish, Catalan, Italian, Corsican, French and German immigrants) at the top, wealthy professionals and business owners... This group produces by far the most attractive women (and they can be incredibly hot, at their best), but it's a small group (about 15%). The middle class is more equivalent to a mainland lower middle-class, and is composed of people with "raices" or "ramas" in both Europe and Africa (about 30-35%). The lower you go socioeconomically, in general the greater percentage of African "ramas"... and the more likely to live in urban public housing (caserios) or hillside shacks in the country. The last group, by the way, produces by far the ugliest women that I've seen, not just in Puerto Rico, but perhaps anywhere!

I know DR is very similar, but if anyone can shed more light on the feminism/entitlement thing; are DR girls more like Boricuas in that regard, or more like other women around Latin America -- say, Colombians?

[Image: lol.gif] this has to be the funniest explanation I've read on the production of ugly boricuas you tend to see on the "Govimint" cheese line. [Image: lol.gif]

I consider myself a Colombiana "expert", and I've also grew up my entire child and teen life fucking Nuyorican girls, and Dominicanas (I used to hang with Toño Rosario as part of his "crew" back in early 90's)

With that said, No, the Boricuas are nothing like Colombianas (or vice-versa) as far as culture goes. They are totally different with the Colombiana being more "cariñosas" and very feminine as opposed to feminist boricuas who will "cut your face modefoque" if you act up.

Surprisingly, there has been an enormous increase in Puerto Rican immigrants in Medellin, specifically looking to settle down with a Colombian girl, leaving al the knife-wielding Boricuas at home for others to deal with.

I would definitely say that Boricuas are in a class of their own. Dominican girls are still different even though they are a short boat ride apart. I personally think that Dominicanas are easier to fuck that Puerto Rican and Colombiana girls are of all 3 races.

That's the consequences of WAY too much contact with the US, both in terms of back and forth migration and in terms of PR's legal system -- they live under all of our federal laws.

Santiago, DR adventures

I have been drunk since Monday night. 2 new bangs. My main girl wanted to go to the club tonight; i drank half a red bull and decided i couldn't rally anymore.
I went to a campo for yesterday. Wow, what an eye opening experience. The power was out most of the the entire time I was there
No running water.
My friends house costs under $50 a month to rent.
I can't even explain how the houses are built. In one word, "cheap"
The toilet didn't flush
People sit around all day, drink rum and beer, play dominoes, and listen to music.
Most people here have never left the Dominican and don't know what California is. They can't point the U.S. or the DR on a map.
People go to school from 1 to 6 in the evening.
I was drunk the whole time I was here.
My friend told me he has a ton of girls he wants to introduce me to. I didn't know what to expect but i said fuck it, why not.
Wow, he wasn't kidding, he knows everyone in the campo. everyone loves him. He introduced me to tons of girls who were really interested in me. He told most of them I was coming and talked me up. Even there moms were waiting to meet me lol.
It was a good time. Campo girls are a great way to go. They are secluded from ever meeting foreigners so when they meet one, they don't know what hits them. Even some guys were confused as to how i ended up there.
if you're in the DR and a cool local guy invites you to his campo, i would recommend going and checking it out. Most of these places have absolutely no information about it on google. I can't find anything about this place on the internet.
What an experience.

Is "campo" a word for town, basically?

Love the stories man. Keep them comin while you can. +1 from me.

The campos here are basically cheap houses off of a dirt road where the people who hardly make any money live. The dirt road goes off the main highway. It was probably about half a mile down the dirt road before you see the first house. After the first house, there is tons of houses on each side of the road. There was even a huge river in the middle of the campo with a long bridge to cross it. On the other side of the bridge, more houses..
I don't think you can call it a town since there is no work here.
The only people who work are the people who drive the motoconchos (and there are plenty) and the people who work one of the tiny convenience stores. The motoconchos have to take the kids to the school which is all the way at the main road. Although, many kids still make the walk. Oh also there is a tiny place if people want to use the internet. The girls who "work" here drank my rum while i sent an e-mail out lol.

I'm not kidding when I say the guys here just sit around, drink, and play dominoes during the day. At nighttime, they might make the drive to the nearest bar which is 10 minutes away by car. The girls cook and clean.
Last night, I told my friend which one of the girls I like the most that I met during the daytime.
He called her mom up and told her that we are going to come pick her up and go out.
His best friend has a decent Honda. We drove to her house (you have to drive 2 miles per hour cause the dirt road is so fucked up), he went inside and told her to come out. There was no energy in the campo at this point.
Somehow, she managed to get ready and look like she was ready to go to the hottest club in the states. Wow! she was a solid 8 during the day and now she was a 9.
And she is only 19 [Image: smile.gif]
We went to a bar and drank.
Then i said i want her to teach me how to dance bachata, merengue etc.
So we went to a "club", well there was probably only 10 people there and it was outdoors so i guess that is there club.
We danced, talked and then went back to the campo. My friend and his best friend were giving me notes on how to make sure i fucked her the whole time. They even gave me condoms haha.
They said if i lived in there campo, girls would go crazy for me. I guess there is a black american who lives there who the girls love. I didn't get a chance to meet him but he sounded cool haha.

Most guys i asked about work said they had work before and are currently looking for new work..

Also, there is tons of chickens and roosters around. My friend said they just let them hatch eggs so they can eat them and eventually they kill them and eat them also.
Lots of dogs and cats wander around also but they all have an owner. it is common for other cats and dogs to wander into neighbors houses. It is funny my friend asks his mom, "is this dog yours?" she looks at him "no". and they just keep eating lol. Eventually they tell him to get the fuck out.
Everyone there was so worry-free. I guess when you have cheap housing and everyone's happy in a community oriented "campo" not much to worry about.

Also, i noticed truckloads of bamboos driving around so i guess some people do that out there.
It is a place to live for super cheap
I forgot to take note of what the bus company is called that can take you to one.
The one I took goes from Santiago to Puerto plata. It stops a lot to drop people off near there campo and to pick them up. It costed me 60 pesos ($1.57) each way to get to the campo.

There are "high end" campos and "lower end" ones. The one I stayed at I'm assuming is definitely more on the lower end side.
My friend loves his campo. I have so much respect for this guy. He works over 50 hours a week and takes the bus to his campo 3 or 4 times a week to see his kids, mom, and wife. He supports all of them (although, his wife works also). He is like super dad but he doesn't make that much money, yet he keeps his head up and is always happy.

This is going to be my last night in Santiago (unless a girl convinces me to stay [Image: wink.gif] )

A few more pointers about the city

Square One- Awesome place to get food. They have a huge menu and are open 24 hours a day. Very good prices. LOTS of people go here after a night at the club. I went on a lunch date here today and it was perfect. I've also been here after the club and just as good!
It is located across the street of Pucca Mayma College. Right next to the Shell Gas Station. (They call gas stations La Bomba by the way)

MIA- I mentioned in an earlier post many locals go to the liquor store located next to this place to socialize and drink. I can confirm this is the place I previosly described it to be
The actual nightclub MIA is where lots of 18 year old girls hang out. It is known for having underaged girls go here. Go here if you want hot 18 year old girls. I never went here but I did meet some girls at the bar I hang out at who were all 17 and 18 years old who said they were going to MIA for the night. I was going to go with them but I already had a group I was with who was going to MOMA. My group said MIA is known for having young girls..

[/b]Porta Del Sol Very diverse crowd. Lots of people here every night. Tons of TV monitors along with tables and chairs. Very social atmosphere. Only recommend going here if you have someone to go with. Not ideal for a solo traveler. Pretty similar to the MIA liquor store but bigger. The liquor store is responsible for serving you drinks. So you can buy liquor bottles, beer, mixers etc..

H20 - The same thing as Porta Del Sol, just not as many people. Still a good place to go. This place would be a better place for a solo traveler. As i said in a earlier post, meeting chicks during the day and inviting them out at nighttime is your best bet. This isn't the best town to be sarging at night time by yourself as everyone goes out in groups.

Levels- Again, I never made it here. However, what I do know is that it is owned by a wealthy drug dealer. Thus, many of the classy girls avoid this place at all costs. I wanted to check it out; however, i decided to always stick with my crew and the only place they like is MOMA. The cab driver told me lots of wealthy kids go here though. I don't believe half the shit the cabbies tell me.

That's pretty much all i have. didn't see one pro my entire time here. I guess that says something about the places I hung out at. More on the upscale side. ..
Be careful if you decide to scope out the lower end places. It could get more dangerous. I scoped a few out with my buddy from the campo. The girls were not as attractive and they were mostly dark complected. However, I think the girls who hang out here are easier to pick up relative to the classy ones.

Awesome story about the Campo, appreciate it. Were you able to close the girl who went out with you?

Also, not sure if it has been asked, but where did you learn Spanish and how much trouble have you had with the Dominican slang and accent?

Santiago, DR adventures

Good question Rio. Before I answer let me say that I have probably been on more dates with different chicks in 2012 then 2011 already thanks to the DR. I really don't want to leave this country. The girls are so much better.

Unfortunately I didn't close the girl I went to lunch with. She was on her lunch break so it was not possible to close after the date. However, I met up with her last night for drinks. The whole town was going nuts because Aguilas won a huge game last night. Very fun and crazy night.
I pushed and pulled, pushed and pulled. fuck so much work for her. Finally got her back to my hotel room after 2 in the morning. She had so much LMR is was insane. While she is giving me this LMR, my phone is getting blown up!
I think in my original post, i posted about a nightclub I went too and made out with a girl and ended up bouncing because my friend had to wake up early the next morning.
Well, I made plans to finally meet up with her last night.
I completely flaked on her.
I told her a few times I would meet her at Puerta Del Sol but wanted to fuck the lunch date girl first. I had put to much work in to just walk away.
So, the nightclub girl was blowing me up.
Finally, I told the girl. "Okay, so you say you don't want to have sex because you don't know me well enough. Let's take you home. It's okay."
She starts trying to tease me again (Kissing me etc.)
My phone rings again. "Look, I don't mean to sound like a dick: if we're not going to fuck, let's take you home."
I finally pick up my phone and arrange to meet the nightclub girl up in front of lunch date girl.
don't have too much time for details here as I'm heading down to Santo Domingo today so in a nutshell:
I take lunch date girl home in a cab (she is still making out with me)
Cab driver then takes me to nightclub girls apartment. She remembered everything about me. (my name, where i'm from); i didn't even remember her name. i put her in my phone as "clubS)
Didn't remember shit about her since i was pretty wasted when i met her.
But wow, she was hotter then i thought she was going to be.
She was a solid 8.
Athletic body with a booty. I'm not much of an ass guy but i remember that is what really got me to like her the drunk night in the club. She was wearing tight white denims and her ass was looking too good.
After talking to her 2 friends and her for 10 minutes i got her to come back with me to my hotel.
Boom, another lay.
Maybe nightclub game here is worth a harder shot?
This girl was extremely shy, yet bossy. Just a sexy girl. Not educated at all though. I showed her a map of the world and told her to point out the DR. She had no idea. I even pointed out Cuba and Puerto Rico and she still didn't know where the DR was.
She couldn't point out the U.S. anymore.
When i asked her which country she would like to visit the most, her answer was "New York"
She was definitely not even close to the best fuck i've had here. She just turned 19..
Her pussy was so tight that I couldn't fuck her hard at all. she wasn't very open about her sex life. All i know is she had a boyfriend for a long time and i'm guessing he had a tiny dick judging by the way she couldn't take mine.
I didn't even nut. She had to stop.
I guess that's what you get when you meet up with a chick at 3 in the morning and blow her off all night.
Oh well, i still got to stick my dick in a sexy ass dominican chick.
I would definitely fuck her again. I kind of miss her already. silent sexiness with an amazing body and cute face. dam, why am i leaving this place?
i think i'm already close to surpassing the # of diffrent girls i fucked in 2012 relative to 2011.
thanks dr.

I learned Spanish when I was very young. My Mom is from Mexico; thus, my grandma doesn't speak english. I really tightened up my Spanish when I lived in Spain for 6 months.

Sometimes I can't understand anything the poor people on the street say. There accent is very thick and they use lots of slang.
It is easy to understand any somewhat educated Dominicans.
The only time I don't understand them is when they tell jokes. Most the jokes they say don't make sense in English so I don't get the humor.
Other then that, there really is no trouble understanding them.
It is pretty easy to infer what meaning there slang words have if your spanish is good enough.

In General, Yes. The girl i took down last night was the one of the easiest fucks i've ever had.
If you want a quality girl (the white girls who graduated from PUCMM students are considered quality here), NO and yes
You need to get in with the social circle and isolate when you have a chance. This means making lots of new friends (guys and girls). Takes a lot more work then the unedecuated girls you can find at the lower end clubs or walking the streets.. Still manageable though and easier then the quality girls in Southern california. You will need a solid story as to why you're there..

I think the easiest place to get good girls is a campo. The campo notorious for girls is Ciudad de Moca.
Many friends have told me the girls here are beautiful. I met a few from here in Santiago. They were all white and cute.
I sat next to a girl on the bus ride from Santiago to Santo Domingo and when i told her i wanted to go to ciudad de moca she told me it is a city but it has campos in it. She didn't understand why i would want to go there. When i told her my friends recommended it (i actually name dropped a few and she knew exactly who they were) she started laughing, and said oh they want you to go because Moca is known for having beautiful girls. Many of the girls move to Santiago to go to a university..
I've been thinking about getting more into computer skills (advertising, marketing, traffic etc..) and moving to a campo. Rent would be super cheap, cost of living cheap, and effort to fuck girls would be cut enormously relative to the states.
I wouldn't be rich but i would be happy.. just a thought[Image: idea.gif]

Just wanted to let everybody know that I currently live here in santiago. I have been here 3 months. I will share some information about living here. I am working here on contract.

People: compared to the rest of this island the citizens of santiago and the surrounding state of cibao are the least social, least friendly and most rude. Some of the ugliest females I have ever seen.

Everyday life: most people here do not have jobs but everyone seems to think they are the president. Getting anything done here that involves a dominican is ridiculous(just in this town). Services here are poor and there is no good intention here to do business. I have an apartment and internet but the workers here do the opposite of what any businessman would do. I remember in colombia the local phone and ibternet service provider Claro took over 2 weeks to fix the internet in a good neighborhood. It takes longer in this town.

I am always making money on the internet so I do not write too much at one time but if you have any questions let me know. I live here and will be here atleast until 2019.
