True.

However, when you mix it (and I don't mean Mixx from on here either, or actually I do) with a Custom Suit, a fat Bankroll and some Goliath Game, it makes for a pretty potent cocktail. Right?

G man ,what are the best beaches in Spain...is San Sebastian a good place to spend some time,I know it's on the beach down from Biarritz.

I have a friend there and he says I should come over for a while..maybe teach.

I am still looking for the "best beach" in Spain.

As far as San Sebastian, go.

The place is stunningly beautiful, great nightlife, topless beaches and arguably the best food city in the world.

Every man should spend at least a month there.

Biarritz is paradise on earth in the summer as well.

That is if you like topless French girls and surfing that is.

Yo G- I actually met up with a chick from Spain yesterday. She was from a town on the north coast called Asturia. She said the food there is amazing. She's damn beautiful. I haven't made it happen yet, I'm sure it will go down sooner or later (we both had shit to do anyway as we met right after work). Speaking of which [to anyone reading this], always meet a chick when you have other options that night.

I made sure we met up at my favorite bar, where the bartenders know me and validated me in front of her. This spot was classy and she was impressed.

Anyway, it had me thinking about my time in Madrid and Barcelona and how many other places in that country are dope on the low. Spain has to be one of the coolest and most chill countries on the planet. They get it in out there. I definitely want to explore that country some more.

Shorty was telling me about how bad the economic situation is out there right now. LOADS of young folks are outta work. I'm wondering what effect that will have on the chicks over. Say a stylish American cat rolls through with bank roll and swagger these days, you think they'll still keep up their infamously prude facade? Would love to see someone from the forum go out there on a case study mission.

You get more bang (literally and figuratively) for your buck in Latin American, Asian and EE countries, but Spain is still a winner.

"Asturias" is where I think you mean (unless there is a town called "Asturia" also)

That is a Principality http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asturias on the North Coast next to Cantabria where I spent almost a month this summer.

Never been to Asturias, but I am sure it mad fresh.

As far as the economic situation, it is kind of hard to notice the ill effects in Spain.

I mean, you talk to people a little and they seem like they might not have too much extra scratch, but in Summertime, people are out and about all day, partying, having dinner at 12am and raging till 6am.

Then you wake up one day and the beach is packed at 8-9am. The place goes 24 hours.

The place is alive, unlike say America, which is dead.

The energy is so positive over there it makes America look like a bunch of uptight, dorks, which I guess in reality, 99% of America is.

Zero homeless in Spain. America is awash in homeless.

Restaurants are packed in Spain with people going off. American restaurants can be dead as a coffin nail during the week.

So to get back to your question, I didn't really think having a bankroll payed too many dividends, although to be honest, I don't usually front as hard when I travel compared to the USA.

I don't think Spanish girls are easy by any stretch. In fact, I think they are difficult. Although in my opinion, no where is easier than America.

This of course, may change in the future.

I would love to pick up a Spanish beach crib in the future for 100,000 euros. All cash buy.

Well see. But yeah, Spain is live.

Are you sure about the economic impact? Last year I took a drive from northern Spain to Madrid, and there were half-constructed ghost towns scattered across the countryside. I'm sure the party lifestyle is being propped up by the benefits of the Spanish government which is teetering on collapse.

That said, yes, Spain is a party country with a great nightlife. Loved vacationing there.

Yeah. Austurias is the name. Spanish girls are definitely not easy as I know firsthand. This chick I met up with is actually German on her mom's side, so that probably helps explain her "openness" compared to other Spanish chicks I've got at. They're definitely not easy, but I'm cool with adding a challenge to the roster to see what happens. I like to get creative and test my game. You can fall off quick if you don't consistently go after high-level chicks, and there's always room for learning and gaining insights.

I gotta check out that North Coast sometime as well as the Basque region. I've heard good things about Bilbao.

RandalGraves -

I am just going off what I saw with my own eyes. It didn't seem like the economy was bad at all. Especially when compared to America.

There are "half-constructed ghost towns" everywhere.

I am not saying that the economy is not hurting it there. Again, I am just saying I didn't see it.

I mean, did you see a lot of homeless?

People walking the streets wacked out on drugs?

Those I the signs that I typically associate with a place in trouble.

Agree with G there.

Spain might be suffering economically or on the brink of financial collapse. But you walk around the streets and you sure don't notice it. It's not as if it's Detroit.

I would live in Spain over any other European country. The lifestyle just kills it and the laidback vibe is the best.

Cafes are full in Eastern Europe, they place a high value on socialising. $2 for a cappuccino is like $20 to us in some places

Question to the G manifesto or Michael, not sure how to refer to you: How do you make enough money to support constantly traveling? Just curious, I read your blog and enjoy it a lot, but how are you able to maintain that lifestyle?

Kickboxer, I am living abroad in Central Mexico, I havent read all of the comments but fuck it and come down here. Cheaper to rent your own place than to live with a fam, also, there are much cheaper options than those formal classes. I suggest choosing a university town, I am in one currently and although during summer vacation it can be dead, there still is nothing quite like 15k 19-22yr old senoritas runnin around needing help taking off their stubborn panties.

Some people from fairly wealthy backgrounds have spent a summer backpacking in Europe or made a short trip to South America or SE Asia/India.

Most of the other people who travel are "outliers", not your typical person.

The average person might start traveling at around age 27, and yes spend a week in Paris or Italy, a week in Mexico or mayybe a 10 day trip to Hong Kong and Bangkok or something.

I'm very glad that i lived in NYC, spent time in tokyo and travelled for over a year in and around Europe, , all when i was pretty young. All this has a dramatic effect in shaping your personality when you are still young and impressionable. It's just not the same when you do it in your 30's with your wife for 2 weeks.

I think the effect of this may be relative. If you're in a place where girls already have a lot of international experience (e.g. a good graduate school), then I'm not sure how much of a DHV it is. But travel is definitely where it's at, and not just for girl-related reasons.

Point well taken, however, how much travel has your average graduate student done?

7 days in Paris?

5 days in Cancun?

2 weeks in London?

The kind of travel that we do on this board by The International Playboys is not normal at all.

Spending a month in BA, a month in Colombia, 2 months in Spain? Montreal? London? Belfast? NYC? 3 Months in Miami Beach?

In the same year?

And going at the best times of year? Not normal.

People dream about this stuff.

Hell, I talk to cats way more successful than me, guys you have companies that have raised 100 million and they are always like, "How do you travel that much?"

And I am like, "You have never been to Buenos Aires?" No.

"Colombia?" No.

"DR?" No.

"All summer at the topless beaches of Spain"? No.

Only very few people do what we do.

International Playboys are top of the food chain.

For real

I know a man who is 65, true player. He says that there are many rich people out there who didnt get to enjoy life and he feels that he is lucky to have enjoyed life although he is not rich today.

I think many people just enslave all their lives in making money, things need to be balanced.

But ,believe me you don't want to be on Skid Row when you're older!
When you're young ,you can survive on one meal a day, sleeping on friends floors ,hard labour etc etc ,but doing that when you're older is draining not adventurous!
Have a good time but make sure you're getting ahead in some way!

Yup, so many people in America think that life begins when you retire. So you wait your entire life until your are 65 and can't bag chicks anymore and no longer have the health and energy to party?

Spend your entire life stressed out trying to accumulate your 2 million dollar nest egg and spend all your free time reading the Wall Street Journal stressed over your stocks and mutual fund portfolio? By the time you hit 65, you'll probably be overweight, lost most of your hair and have to take 5 different pills for your diabetes, high blood pressure and that newly metastasizing cancer tumor.

Spend your days playing golf and bingo and hitting the early bird specials at restaurants. Is this really what you've been waiting for over the last 40 years??

If you have a wife and kids, you'll definitely need to keep an eye out for the future. If it's just yourself, if i ran out of money, i'd just move to Latin America, EE or SE Asia and just retire there and maybe spend a few months a year in the U.S. if i got homesick.
