yeah i didn't really believe everyone when they said chico was a party school, but now i'm a believer. this place could rival santa barbara...

It's way more mellow than back in the day. The schools president has been trying really hard to change the perception of the school. Still a party school for sure, but not what it once was. I can say there is no comparison to Chico State and Santa Barbara for Halloween. SB kills Chico in that category. I can't say otherwise though because I've only been to SB for Halloween.

I haven't been to Santa Barbara on a Halloween, but on a normal day it seems like Chico has way more parties going on and they got good, cheap bars close by, too. I'll have to experience Halloween this year and hit up Santa Barbara next year! Peace, about to hit up the Labor Day Float!

Bumping this thread because I'm going to be there either this week, next week, or the following week after that. Anyone want to meet up and introduce me to the lovely ladies there?

L M, girls are everywhere in Chico. How old are you? If you are under 30, or maybe even 35, I'd just hit downtown. La Salles, Rileys, The Bear, Normal St Bar, etc. It's pretty straight forward really.

I have heard great stuff about Chico; a party school and shitload of white chicks but the best quality white chicks.

I'm a freshmen at chico state, only been here about 4 weeks and i love it here. the ladies here are freaking gorgeous and theres parties every weekend. haven't had much luck with the ladies though, i can never set a date after i get the number so no bangs yet. also, i've only been able to get girl's numbers with day game and only have gotten one number so far with night game. There's obviously something wrong here, I think girls are more vulnerable to day game here because its less expected since the weekend is when every guy tries to get laid. My game was pretty terrible back home in L.A., but here its decent compared to all the other betas below me. this is definately the perfect environment for anyone who wants to improve their game and have a good time.

You're gonna have a blast at Chico State.

Make as many friends as you can and your sophomore year move into a house around Cherry st., Orange st. Etc. with some buddies.

Go sign up at Standalone MMA and learn some Jiu Jitsu or Muay Thai. Lots of fights between drunk college kids. You want to make sure you can handle yourself. It's a good way to make more friends also.

Go grab some Aca Taco burritos and Mountain Mikes and post a photo for me. Loved those places.

Thanks a bunch Rio, I've already seen first hand how crazy it can get in the party scene out here. I'll check out Standalone, it'll do me some good.

I live in the University Village so we always end the night with Aca Taco, still need to try Mountain Mikes though. I'll post pics as soon as i can.

Still need to look around for some buddies i can live with and pull girls with too, but that shouldn't be too hard.

I plan to make the most of my time here and carry on your legacy here at chico state.

I live in Atlanta but have been going to Chico nearly every summer for over 10 years. Sadly, not to partake in the girls, but to visit my grandmother who lives there.

I always see a bunch of hot California girls walking around the square. I've been to The Bear several times and loved it. However, turns out it's somewhat difficult to get laid if you're staying at your grandmother's house. I'll definitely be bumping this thread up when I'm back out there though.
