What do you guys think of this guy?
On his website, it says that he's an author, speaker, writer, and teacher.
I've only read a bit about him so far, but from what I've read so far, he's really out there...I mean really out there.
1) While he was a university professor, he slept with many of his female students.
2) He knowingly cuckolded another man.
3) After he slept with a woman who had been tied up, abused, and used in a prostitution stake, he tried to kill both her and himself.
4) He regularly abused drugs and alcohol.
...And that's only the small amount of crazy things he's done.
My question is: How and why the hell do so many people take this self-professed "feminist" seriously?
His past actions are basically the anti-thesis of what feminism stands about, yet feminists flock to him.
He seems to do well with women, if we take it that he's being honest that he's slept with so many women, yet he seems completely oblivious of female nature; in other words, he hasn't taken the red pill, but somehow he's still successful with women.
Roissy described two types of men who were ignorant of women's nature: betas (majority of men) and a minority of alphas (naturals) so used to the good side that women put on that they never see the bad side of women. It seems that Hugo is the "natural" player who never saw the dark side of women.
While I appreciate Hugo's honesty, I can't get past that all through those horrible things he's done, he's a well-off man with a comfortable job living a comfortable life while men who have lived more honest, productive, and worthwhile lives live in worse conditions. I also cannot stand his hypocrisy. He had written up an article dealing with men sowing their "wild oats," yet he himself was a promiscuous player when he was younger. He teaches that men be just the opposite of what he was. He tells men not to be players, yet he himself was one and thoroughly enjoyed it.
What lesson can we take away from Hugo's life?
Life is not fair. It will never be fair.
