I read an article today that they were NOT publishing the experiment's findings. I think it's the right thing to do. There have been plenty of cases of people making bombs in their homes, so what's stopping someone with access to a lab and pharmaceutical equipment/resources from recreating this virus? I know that this won't make it impossible for anyone to see how it works, but at least it stops most people from getting access to it.
