All right, this is another installment in my series of most outrageous things I read in women's magazines.
This one is from Elle and is an article about women home owners, how it makes them proud, and how accomplished they are for buying a home of their own. It lists 8 single women homeowners, with their jobs, the cost of their home, and how they paid for it.
As you can imagine, all the women's jobs are something in PR, advertising, or NGOs. I am not aware of women being actually involved in the craft of building homes (except some frou-frou interior designers). Also, all these women financed their homes, meaning they bought it with worthless paper that is going to be securitized and resold many times before being marked down on some bankrupt firm's books.
But the most amazing is this one bitch, who said she paid for her home with her divorce settlement money! Let's all cheer for women's achievement, grrls!
Of course, more than half of the magazine (200+ pages) was filled with features of well-dressed people with small print like "Boots - D&G, $800; Scarf - Escada, $200; Purse - Coach, $250).
The only purpose I see for such features is so that when the woman reader sees a person, she can quickly size him or her up and calculate how much money they are making based on the labels on their clothes.

Once I was doing street game and talking to a hot woman. After I asked her for her job, she told me she was running on social welfare. She had never worked one single hour in her life.
Then 5 minutes later or so I talked about my last holiday at the shore and she responded: "Yeah, swimming in the sea is great, I have just been to the Carribean (from Central Europe) a few weeks ago!"
So this bitch is unemployed and running on social welfare and at the same time some fucking "sponsor" finances her transatlantic flights and Carribean holiday! I bet he does not even fuck this "empowered" woman!

Well...
1) We all know there is a MAJOR flaw in the judicial system when it comes to divorce settlements. Yet, you still have dumbass dudes who make a high income marrying/having kids by women that earn close to nothing...JUST BECAUSE she looks good or is young. It's not like the laws were made last week. No sympathy for the guys and you cannot blame the women.
2) Many men with wealth (or at least great income) fail to realize their worth.

I'm with Unerd on this one. I'm working with two dudes right that are making bank, and recently got married. These guys are dating up, and didn't tie the knot until the money started rolling in. The best part is (for the wives) is the dudes have to stay overseas to make the bank.
Men who have the sense to make money should be able to realize that half of their fortune will be lost in a divorce. So why marry a useless waitress with no education or other future earning potential? Because most men are weak minded. "A sucker's born every minute". Women are the weaker of the sexes, and will do anything to get ahead.
The simple solution is to keep your bitches in check and refuse to marry. When the gig is up and she forces your hand kick her to the curb and find another. This is called being a player.
Dudes that lose in a divorce had it coming, and I don't feel for their plight.

By now, every man has been warned of divorce.
Pre-Internet, guys had an excuse for not knowing the score.
Men complain that women refuse to accept personal responsibility.
Men need to hold other men to account. If you're stupid enough to get married, post-Internet era, then you made a dumb choice and none of us will give a fuck when your life is ruined.

While divorce and alimony are certainly nasty, what I wanted to point out here was the women's taking credit of the achievement of living in their own home, when it was likely designed, built, and financed by men.
It's that "Anything you can do, I can do better" attitude that is so widespread and yet so far from reality.
