The infrastructure, safety, etc. just doesn't exist in most areas of the world. Sometimes it takes living abroad for some time to realize what you took for granted back home (aside from the women ).

I don't know maybe it's my age...... but the way I look at it..... the upside with the latin women so far outweighs the down side of living in Colombia that it just seems kind of stupid to even mention the pitfalls...... which can almost be completely eliminated by living in a strata 6 barrio and dealing with higher class people.

The only thing I miss about the USA is being able to drive my car from point A to point B without being in constant fear of getting in an accident. jejeje

It's easy to focus on the negatives of any country when you are not getting laid regularly. If Brazil or Colombia didn't churn out regular amounts of hotties to bang, none of us would be recommending these 2 wonderful counties. Hopefully, for the next 5 to 10 years the mine will keep on producing.

honestly its just not the girls. even though its a big part. i live in miami and hate the people there. everbody wants to show how much better they are then you, service is shit, people are unfriendly and 80% of the younger crowd wanna act like there black. i can walk with a dime in colombia and people won't give a shit. in miami you always have to worry about somebody trying you if your with a hot chick.

There's certainly some truth in the OP's rant. But all of his criticisms could be applied to many places in the World. There is no perfect country! Every place has annoying and sometimes repulsive aspects.

Travelling, if nothing else, is interesting and can open one's mind. And in the Chicago (where I live) Winters, travelling to a warm place can in itself be worthwhile.

As far as getting laid in L.A., there's a lot of myths out there. If you don't speak some Spanish/Portugues and aren't particularly handsome, you'll have a TOUGHER time getting laid in L.A. than at home. Of course you can pay for it upfront (which I personally am not against) cheaper than you can at home. But getting non-pros involves the same challenges you would encounter at home, plus the added language barrier.

Hmmm I was talking about guys that date the sad women on the website or women of a similar caliber....the guys (some surprisingly young) that go out with these women are not paying for it. Still surprises me what a rather ugly guy can get here by just holding out the hope of a serious relationship that might lead to marriage.

So take a look at the website ( allcolombiangirls.com )....this is pretty much rock bottom here in Cali....young ugly guys with no spanish can easily date these types no problem as well as older guys that have something going for them. If you are good looking and have good spanish skills things will improve dramatically from there.

I'm 50 and I have posted pics of myself and the women I go out with here in Cali and have been accused of paying for it when that is not the case or playing with them by promising to marry them and bring them to the states which I don't do either.

I have been doing this for quite a while now and my spanish is very good and I do drive a nice car and have a kick ass pad so that all helps....but even when I came here 15 years ago and had none of that I could feel the difference with the women here.

It is kind of hard to give specific advise because I know nothing about you.

If you are really into pure salsa then go to Jala Jala in menga.....I much prefer cross over clubs like Titirifue and LoLas but if you are really a salsa fanatic then go to Jala Jala.

I hope you already have a date because I wouldn't count on hooking up in salsa club....groups are hard to break into in cross over clubs and they are even harder in salsa clubs.

I used to go dancing salsa only on Sundays at Changos or Tienda Vieja....I don't know if Tienda Vieja is still open on Sundays but it was one of the few places where you can ask random chicks to dance without a problem....just wait until everybody hits the dance floor and if you see a single chick sitting down it is OK to ask her to dance.

Changos in Juanchitos is always open and the party starts early about 8pm on Sundays and goes all night.....would highly recommend that you go in a group if you go to Juanchitos.

I have met some super hot chicks in LoLas but only if I bring model types with me...three seems to be the magic number...I have been invited to after hour finca parties...wouldn't really recommend going unless you have your own ride so you can leave whenever you want. Keep in mind that you'll be expected to bring your women with you...so make sure they have something that interests you as well.

As far as meeting chicks goes....I normally meet mine through friends and the friends of chicks I already know. I don't usually just go out on the street or malls hunting for pussy.....but if I'm out and I see something that strikes me as hot and have good eye contact I will approach.
