This is a bit off topic from the current discussion but I just wanted to say this. I love NYC. I think it's an awesome place to game, hang out with friends, and chill. I go probably once a month or so because I love the atmosphere.

That being said, NYC has the most atrocious subway system of any major first-world city that I've been in. How this happened in the richest country in the world and the city it is often associated with - I have no idea. Trains never run on time, constant delays, and filthy as fuck. And the funny part is - it's getting WORSE haha. MTA is an abomination.

Andrew Cuomo plunges money into upstate NY to keep his seat. He knows the city rich, who don't use the subway, will vote for him anyway.

Renewing the subway would require colossal investment. It's a long-term project with no short-term benefit, especially for hacks like Cuomo.

A bill was proposed to tax millionaires in order to save the subway. Fat chance that gets passed.

Just an echo of problems around the country. Republicans need to realise that even businesses require state infrastructure.

I hope this is the right thread, I want report something that I think it can be helpful.
I went the last year in August in NY city, and I noticed on the intersection between Broadway and Houston St. , every Thursday, after the 16:00/17:00 until the evening, you will find a huge group of Scandinavian teenagers (for the majority part girls, 17-18 y.o.) go for the shops and for the dinner.
They come in NY before to go in another place in US, because they will do the entire year in an American high school, and they sleep in a hotel in the New Jersey before to move.
It's easy to recognize them because they dress a red necklace with a badge, with "explorer" or something like this on it.
From what I saw, they are interested in the black bad guys (the typical ghetto stereotypes), unfortunately for me.
If anyone meet or bang them write here, it was a pity that nobody considered them.
If I have got enough time, I will write a good post about NY from my point of view.

You miss the second part, they are all between 17-18 y.o., what's wrong with a 20-23 y.o. guy who date a 18 y.o. girl?
I read here in forum a lot of Americans who travel to the UE just for these girls, and when you have got them in your country (where you have got a big advantages), no one considered them. I will never understand US logic.

Planning a trip to Manhattan in NYC soon. Really, hoping a few folks can update this thread with what are now the perceived as the better spots for night and day gaming especially for those on a budget.

But, I have a few other questions that seem to have been neglected too:

1. Is a car really necessary in Manhattan or is it smarter to walk and use uber/lyft/taxi?
2. What tourist attractions are really worth visiting and which are better to avoid?
3. What are the better restaurants especially those that are reasonably priced with an eye towards gaming or just great restaurants you have to eat at?
4. Also, where to go to find the latinas?
Reply

Do not under any circumstances get a car. Uber, lyft, subway works just fine

As far as tourist attractions what are your interests?

I'll do a comprehensive update on the rest later so if you have any other questions drop them in here.

You can search other threads on this subject but here are some ideas: Jackson Heights (Colombia, Ecuador, DR), Corona (Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, DR), Sunset Park (Mexico), Bushwick, Washington Heights (DR), west Bronx (DR). You can also find local Latinas (grew up in NYC) in lots of fashion stores in Manhattan like Forever 21, H&M, etc.

Hey sorry, I could not the password for this forum on my laptop so was unable to respond until now. I am now back from my trip. And good call on not using a car. Lyft did the job well enough although would probably also use the subway some next time too. I will give a field report in another post in this thread.

Visited NY for the first time a few weeks ago, only for two days.

But was shocked at how pretty Central Park was, how engaging the people were, how awesome the businesses ran, and how much I liked the city.

Stayed in East Harlem at an AirBnB and just walked Manhattan.

This may sound silly to some, but I completed my Eastern USA hot dog tour of 2017 by finally trying a Gray's Papaya.

10/10 will return.

My New York City Field Report:

I was staying in Times Square so the bulk of my time was spent in this area.

Daygame Spots:

MOMA- this is their Museum of Modern Art. I went on a Friday early afternoon and really like this museum to daygame in. It is a good size but also has escalators for each floor so you can bounce around fairly easily. Crowd size was good for daygaming on this day and some women clearly wanted to be approached. Their cafe area could be a promising spot to approach as well although their dining area seemed less so because they have some weird rules about entering it but you could probably approach women waiting in the line to enter.

The Metropolitan Museum- "The Met" is a giant museum this is the more famous one. I went on a Sunday afternoon where there was raining all day so there appeared to be a larger crowd than usual. Really too many people early on making it a challenge to daygame at times. However, I still was able to approach and pickup here. One thing I have noticed about museums is there is a tendency for people to gravitate towards their ethnic roots like blacks tend to visit African art, whites visit European art, etc. so you might want to keep this in mind in where you choose to focus most of your time. This museum has a couple of cafes and a couple of big open spaces inside the museum in front of them which also create a natural place to approach as people take breaks there.

Brooklyn Bridge- This is another place that creates a nice opportunity to approach especially when the weather is good. But I would suggest going at times that event any type of walk or event. I went on a Saturday when an Alzheimer's walk started up which ground the whole walking progress on the bridge to a very slow walk. An easy way to approach women here is simply to ask them to take a picture of you. Also, on one end of the bridge there are a number of tables with trinkets and pictures being sold along with some benches which makes for another natural stopping place where you can approach too.

Union Square- I stopped by this place one day and although it was fairly inactive on this day I can see why this is a popular place. It is a relaxed environment that is one part park, one part open square and one part farmers market. The result is just a very casual and relaxed environment. The only downside is apparently other day gamers use this park a lot and may create some problems. Honestly, I feel like you can also approach in the street across the from the park on the side with farmers market. There was a lot of foot traffic there.

Central Park- The opportunity to daygame is here as well. When I went it seemed to be mainly families and couples but I am sure there are times where you will run into more singles whether it be around the lunch break and maybe after work or early evening. I had talked to several attractive girls that discussed how they had planned to go for a walk on Sunday in Central Park so that may be a good day to go. The bad weather prevented me from checking this out on Sunday.

Times Square Streets- There are also opportunities to daygame here. I am talking about the strip near the red steps like around 44th street and those next couple of streets in each direction but also along a number of the avenue streets like I want to say 7th and maybe 9th Street. But I would normally avoid 5th Avenue even with all its shopping venues simply because it gets way too packed with people on the weekend so you can't approach on the street but of course you could in the stores.

Nightgame Spots around Times Square:
I have to first give a good amount of credit to Naughty Nomad. His ebook still seemed to checkout fairly well from what I could tell on my visit.

Rudy's Bar & Grill- is a fantastic dive bar that sets up well for approaching Thur - Sat. It has an eclectic mix of people and ages and just has a good feel to the place. Approaching here is easy as you can post up at the bar and women will come to the bar to order drinks. There is a little more traffic towards the back near the bathroom so that is probably ideal. On Sunday, there is less traffic and the booths make for a pretty good spot to bring a girl for a bounce spot for kino. Prices are cheap here too and the bartenders are good people so tip well.

Mercury Bar- This bar is down the street from Rudy's. It is a step up from Rudy's but prices are only slightly more. It gets some cute girls on Friday and Saturday and can't remember on Thursday. You can approach at the bar and the tables are at a height where it is easy to approach people sitting there as well. But one unique thing I like about this bar is it has an outdoor seating area and you will see girls sitting by themselves or be alone as a friend uses the restroom. These are great times to approach as they welcome it. Simple direct game is what I would recommend here.

Bourbon Street- This is a bar and restaurant that has a New Orleans seafood theme. Bar staff here is younger but also cool and good people. For example, I was rejected by a two set who were waiting for their boyfriends. The lady bartender saw this and promptly gave me a free drink. So again, tip well and they will take care of you. The environment is setup to approach at the bar but the downside is it doesn't get a ton of traffic. The best days to go I think will be when they have some type of private event in the back bar. You could probably contact the bar to find out when it has been booked on various nights for more approach opportunities. On my night, they had cut off half the back bar with a rope and left the other part open. I thought about this and if I had to do it over again, I would have given the bartender a couple of bucks and had him slip a girl a note at the bar saying you want to talk to her on the open side. Or as an alternative you could do the old, corny Tic Tac Toe game that some people do at restaurant tables. As a whole this had a younger crowd although there were some older folks in there as well.

Swing 46- Is across the street from Bourbon Street. This is a more expensive and classier place that offers live music. It appeals to an older crowd and had a dance floor in the back with a cover on the day I stopped in. It was not a hopping place on the day I visited but could be solid other times. It would also make for a good early date spot.

The Mean Fiddler- Another kind of funky college style bar. Has some dancing in the back and a big rectangular bar in the middle. Has a place of last resort type of feel to it. This place favors the young and those who like to dance.

The Rum House- This place attracts an older crowd and is not for pickup. But it is great for dates or even a warmup before hitting other bars. They play live jazz music here and has a number of booths and tables along with a bar.

Tonic Bar & Restaurant- This is your standard sports bar. Good to watch a game but as is often the case, these places tend to attract only fat women who you wouldn't want to approach unless that is your thing. I went in the afternoon though so perhaps its getter better in the evening but I think the girls will go elsewhere.

Social Bar & Grill & Lounge- this is a place I did not set foot in but it appeared to be a happening spot that may be worth exploration.

Nightgame Spots in East Village:
McSorley's Ale House- old school style Irish pub with sawdust on floor and cheap beers. Just a cool bar to be in although limited options for approach.

The 13th Step- Is like a lot of college bars but this one seemed to attract a more cliqueish crowd and seemed to attract more men so less opportunities and probably more risk of cockblocking and so on. But it is on a street with some other bars and near McSorley's so may be worth sticking your head in the door.

The Wayland- (Alphabet City) is a solid bar for pickup and plays music too. It is a bit cramped though so may want to arrive early to secure spot at the bar. On the night I was there it seemed to favor a younger crowd.

Night Spots In Williamsburg (Brooklyn):
Skinny Dennis and Union Pool- both places were very laid back but dead on Sunday evening. I would imagine they both could be lively places Thurs to Sat.

Restaurants:
Breakfast spots:
Times Square Diner- has a lunch counter area and regular tables and is just like your typical diner. They work pretty fast to get people in and out the door. Attracts a broader crowd. They have nice omelettes but a weak syrup for french toast and pancakes.

Blue Dog Kitchen Bar- this place is around the corner from the Times Square Diner and attracts more women so makes for a potential pickup opportunity. They have nice omelettes.

One question? How many DID you banged at the end? Those daygame spots you mention are in EVERY city in the world. Other question, you are a model like type or a guy who weighs 120 killo's????

And are you speaking about free lunch or at the end paid sex?

Zero bangs. Was there only 4 nights where one day was sick and Sunday rained all day lessening gaming opportunites on that day.

The daygame spots mentioned may well be similar to other major European cities. However, in several respects these are a little unique to other parts of the US: bigger crowds, bigger street walking areas, more cosmopolitan, etc. And my goal was simply to provide information to others on where I practiced daygame or saw things. And I have average looks. Someone who gets some IOIs but is not simply winning women over based on looks or physicality.

The last part of my post was where I started to list restaurants to go to but got tired and cut it short as my post was running long. One thing this thread seemed to be missing is much of a discussion on where to eat. My comments about the Blue Dog Kitchen Bar were simply to also indicate that there is an opportunity for pickup because it attracted more single women to eat there. Since the place is a still bar the feel of the place was more conducive to pickup than compared to your typical diner.

For example, I was seated at the bar between two single woman. It was easy to start a conversation with them and ultimately asked out the hotter girl but was turned down. But the approach was very easy and natural and there were also some tables nearby where one could also approach women seated there having lunch.

I can't tell if you are giving me a hard time or not because I wrote I stayed in Times Square in the first or second sentence. But if you aren't giving me a hard time, it is an interesting question on where to stay here? I have seen others suggest to avoid Times Square and try for East Village or another place and that may make more sense for an extended stay but am not sure Times Square isn't a better option for short stays.

I imagine that most people will have a similar experience as the following. I noticed that I tended to make more progress with the tourists. With a number of the New Yorkers, I was running into a wall when they knew I was going to be leaving in a few days.

Anyone recommend any bars for New Years Eve? I'll have a french date with me. Looking for a variety of places. I know of some speak easies in lower east side and there's pianos for a more outgoing crowd but those are pretty far from each other. Looking for places within close distance

If you haven't read this yet, I would recommend getting Mark Zolo's book: Naughty Nomad's Guide to New York City. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016CM...UTF8&psc=1) It has several date suggestions in various neighborhoods that I think you will find helpful. I would suggest finding a nice lounge or dive bar with some booths very close to your hotel/place where you are staying so you can bounce to it after you go to the nice, classy first date place. Should be a lot easier to escalate there and then an easier jump to your place.

Also, with regard to Pianos and The Beauty Bar, both of these places are now getting a lot of negative reviews online if you do a google search with stories of bouncers or bartenders causing problems for guys by accusing them of various things and kicking them out or never letting them in. For this reason, I might be a little leery about going to these places especially if you are a person of color. These places have good reputations in the past so maybe others can chime in and give their feedback on what is going on but I would think they would be even more willing to kick people out on a busy day like New Year's Eve.

Try going out in the Village and SoHo. Start at Houston and Bowery and just go door-to-door chatting up any women who don't have a date. There's a Cuban bar on Thompson that has cigars, might be a good place to start but I don't know what it's like on NYE. I assume the NYU girls will be gone but it will be a mixed crowd of locals.

Alternately, if you're bent on ending up in midtown, start at Union Square and carve your way up to Madison Square Park, then keep going. Tons of options all along the way and you'll end up where you're wanting to go.

I'd be surprised if it will be physically possible to get to the Mean Fiddler. There's cops everywhere, psychopaths using baby carriages as battering rams, logistics would suck.

Every time I have been to Manhattan it has appeared that having a car would be an annoying liability (I agree with your comments in other words).

The only exception to me would be if you're a budding celebrity trying to pick up chicks in a luxury convertible during a warmer month or something lol. Maybe scoop em up & take a ride to the Hamptons or something.

Where would you guys live these days if you had to be out of Manhattan for nightlife and chicks? (not including JC and Hoboken since I'm already really familiar with that area.)

Also, is East Harlem, Harlem, or Upper Manhattan, etc worth living in? Basically the upper part of Manhattan.

Easily Williamsburg and maybe Greenpoint if I weren't in Manhattan, although the closing of the L train tunnel soon will definitely put a dent into getting to Manhattan easily.

I can't say much about Harlem but I wouldn't recommend East Harlem or the Upper West Side. The Upper East Side does have a contingent of younger girls but they're mainly old money and WASPy types with some being from Long Island or the Hudson Valley. That neighborhood's nightlife is also mainly neighborhood-type bars that aren't so great for game anyway.

People have been gentrifying Harlem for years, I've had friends up there, there's nothing wrong with going that route, but do your homework. Nightlife isn't going to be great.

If money isn't a factor, I've always liked Cobble Hill. Williamsburg is cool, but a lot of people get put off by the hipster reputation.
