What Do You Think of This Woman's Profile?

I have an opinion. If you like the profile, then great. If you don't like it, then maybe it accurately reflects her personality and attracts the men she deserves. I'll give you my analysis later. But here is the beginning of her profile.

Hi, I'm from ***. I guess you could say I like a challenge – one master’s wasn’t good enough... I had to go and get a PhD and half an MBA on top of it. I am a professor after all, teaching students about American politics/government and showing them the benefits of a good education, so at least I practice what I preach!

Can we get the whole thing?

She probably takes herself very seriously. Do you have a pic?

I want the whole thing too, first impression is hard to base off just a blurb, you quote a small portion of anyones bio and you can't taint the view to make them appear a certain way.

No. This is the beginning of a profile written by a dating coach. I am in the educated middle-aged target demographic and had a strong reaction to this part.

How do they know you had a reaction to it?

Women with graduate degrees are very rarely attractive. My guess is 35-45 years old, overweight, Caucasian, highly opinionated, and a huge pain in the ass. Thinks she can compensate for her physical shortcomings by showing men how smart and witty she is. Probably divorced.

She claims to want a challenge and says one masters wasn't enough, so she gets half an MBA. WTF? Did she drop out because the MBA was too challenging? Or is she still working on the degree because she hates her current job?

She says she practices what she preaches. Bullshit! She teaches government, but practices education. This profile is a clusterfuck of contradiction and hypocrisy.

It was written by a female dating coach who advocates men should pay for the first date. In her defense, she writes good profiles for men, and this may be a difficult self-important client. But I have a real PhD with Ivy connections and am unimpressed with a cereal box diploma trying to claw her way out of a pink collar ghetto job by earning a degree I had at age 21. This profile might show why DC sucks.

There's a difference between degrees and an education. It seems that almost anybody today can get a "degree," while the smart people are the ones who are able to become financially independent.

Context. Context. Context.

It's all about context.

We have been so brainwashed to think that a degree is crucially important for life success, but few ever question the validity of it. People are not thinking outside of the box. Eventually, being raised with this mentality, when people are finally challenged, they usually lashed out, use shaming language, and name-call.

America is obsessed with credentialism and paper. College education basically signals that you're a smart-enough guy. Well, why don't companies just make people take I.Q. tests and then choose the employee? It's cheaper, and people wouldn't have to spend 4 years of their lives and thousands of dollars of debt either.

Hello.

Oh gosh, a PhD. Be still my throbbing hard on. Based on that profile, if she was attractive, I would bang but never in a million years consider her for anything serious. She seems incredibly insecure.

Some of the ugliest girls on dating sites are doing this.

There seems to be a suprlus of these educated, unattractive hags who state in their profiles that they're "tired of kissing frogs" and "looking for their prince to sweep them off their feet". Stay in fairytale land bitch, because it sure as hell isn't happening in real life.

A dating coach wrote that?! I guess that the woman in question is a hypergamous sort of broad and that first sentence weeds out the poor schmucks who only have one master's degree.

The dating coach should have worked with her and coached her through her hypergamy. Not that that's possible, but the coach should have at least tried.

I wonder what the woman in the profile actually has to offer a man.

Another woman who has the problem of projection, who when she was younger chased status and fucked badboys and players while ignoring the dozens of 'nice guys' who would have treated her nicely.

You'd think with two advanced degrees (and why exactly? Will an MBA in addition to a PhD really bring in enough extra pay to offset the massive debt she'll incur getting them....oh right, woman is to logic as drink coaster is to supermassive Black Hole Sagittarius A*) she'd understand that just because she finds certain things about men attractive doesn't mean that men find those same things attractive in women.

The amount of overweight PhD's I've seen makes me wonder how much smarter they really are than the rest of society

They get fat because they're basically shut-ins, studying all the time and stuffing their faces.

If she would be cute and in my age group, I would give it a try.

I think she is rather socially unintelligent (therefore mentioning the whole "I'm a professor" shit which sucks), but she could still be an interesting person (for me personally). Probably quite nerdy, but that's ok for me.

Judging from all women with PhDs in the 30-40 age group that I know personally (I know MANY), I would roughly say one half looks average, the other half looks above average. Very few are ugly. For example, in my own PhD programme, there were five women involved. On a 1-10 scale I would rank them (5 being average, 8 being model quality): 5 5,5 7 7 8. I had little contact to four of them, the fifths one (one of the 7s) was a cunt concerning her personality. But that's not representative for all others. Met tons of lovely girls with a doctorade.

Still, among well-educated women overweight is much less of a problem as it is with "normal" girls. Therefore there's nothing wrong to date women with PhDs.

Real smart people aren't impressed by the number of degrees you have, especially given grade inflation has gotten to the point where you can get a Master's degree by jacking off onto your final exams and tracing a smiley face in the cum.

I'd love to meet a smart woman, but experience has taught me that girls who brag about their education only seem capable of blathering on about feminism, and aren't even interested in talking about the very subject they fucking majored in. ... I mean the subject in which they fucking majored...
