I think you should add the Maserati GrandTurismo, Aston DB9/Vantage, and Audi R8 to your list of affordable dream cars. All can be found in the same price ranges as the 360 and older Gallardo. Pretty soon quality used F430s will be close to the $100k mark too (they're already at $120k).

Yeah I'm stationed on Okinawa FML. I dunno what Toyota was thinking not bringing them to the US. It would have been a reliable, powerful, BMW 3-series fighter.

Bought one last week after learning from a friend (a government contractor, $$$), that getting a 400hp+ 4G64 engine from the states for my Evo would cost me about $9k for the engine, $4k to ship it here, plus supporting mods (he's doing the same for his Evo VII). I said fuck it, found a 5-speed Chaser Tourer V configured for drifting, just need to sell the Evo now.

These will be US-legal in 2014 though:

Athlone, I want to get your opinion.
I have been in LOVE with some of the cars you posted here since a child, and I told myself I would get one. AND I WILL!. I don't like to oogle over things I can not have...that goes for both WOMEN and CARS alike. Its a pointless exercise in revving up your lust for something you have no ability to obtain.
And what most beta's and window lookers alike dont understand is that the ability CAN acquired...if you are willing to work hard enough for acquire it! And that is for both WOMEN and CARS!
I KNOW that i have the ability to obtain BOTH exotic women and exotic cars.
I WILL obtain cars through entrepreneurship and the women through the fruits of my labor through entrepreneurship and game.

so when i look at exotic women and cars on the internet its only allowing me to fine tune exactly I will want in the near future, not just mere oogling.

But, my issue is that I am 30 now, and I feel like I want to get a little taste of success in 2013. Now I don't have the funds yet to get a $250K+ SuperCar but I am confident in my ability to have 30k - 40k to acquire a NICE car.

So here is my plan. I was going to split the 30K - 40k to two down payments of 15K+ on two different cars. And I was going to do this on cars around the 30-35K range. and I was going to get a car note on the difference. My monthly income will be able to cover the combined car payments for 30K.

So my idea was to get a used Dodge Challenger SRT-8 like this one here



for anywhere between 28k-32k. I would preferably like to put 15K on it, but if i have to i would put 17k on it to reduce my loan to 15k. I want the color above but if i can get a better deal then i'll just have the color changed myself.

Then I would get a used Jaguar XK like this



I am going to get one of those between 30k-35k. And put between 15 and 20k on it. That is the color that i want, but as with the Dodge, if I find something that has a better deal then I will get that and then change the color myself. BUT I also want the XKR body styling...which looks like this:



Now that getting that body kit will probably set me back maybe 5k.

But after thinking about it....i thought instead of putting 30-40k into two cars and financing the difference which would be like 30k for both cars why not buy a car for 60-70k, put down 30-40k and finance the difference:

And they range from 60-70K. As with the other cars, I want the color above, but would choose a car thats cheaper and with low miles and paint it myself.

And they also range between 60-70k for the 2004/2005 model which is not that big of difference from their current model. Now I also might change that color to this:



So sir i ask you, in your opinion: i get two cars: the Jaguar XK (with the XKR styling), and a Dodge SRT-8, or a Maserati Gran Turismo or a Bentley GT?
