Ok fellas i met this Lizard last thursday night and few things about her turned me on....el salvadoran background...25 yr old....face was a 9...body was a 6 so 7.5 over all ....she told me she had a boyfriend but we had good conversation and I got the number. Actually txted her within an hour same night to make sure Lizard gave me right number....here is transcript since then...J is her best friend that i met that night too...question is do i push hard or lay off for a few days....i want to push hard...looks like she can use some relief....

Thursday night
Me: Hey its me 12:25 AM
Her: Hey. Now I have ur #! & I can block it. Kidding. Nice meeting you. Have a good nite. 12:33 AM

Friday morning
Me: I can see that you have jokes...let me guess..you are already done for the day waiting for happy hour to kick in somewhere? 11:33 AM
Her: Nope but counting the min! I do have work to finish tho. But over the wkend. I want 2 leave! Yay to the wkend! 11:59 AM
Me: Yah same here. Been a long week. What are your plans this weekend? 2:06 PM
Her: Out tonight then J sat/sun. U got anything interesting planned 4 the wkend? 4:15 PM
Me: What does Julia on Sunday and Saturday mean....? I am just going out tonight and play rest of weekend by ear....we should do drinks tommorow night? 8:27 PM

Me: Nice. I am in Charlotte right now for work and enjoying the fall weather. Hoping to go for a long run today. So you got your halloween costume picked out yet? 1:43 PM

Me: Idea is to wear a surgeon uniform and put name plate saying "DR LOVE"....what do you already have? 2:09 PM
Her: Haha I've done nurse a few times but maybe cleopatra or rainbow brite but not sure. Usually hear about great parties but not much this year sounds great 2:13 PM

You start off okay, but there are many mistakes there.

This is why you should keep text messaging logistical. That girl is texting you for the attention or to be nice. It shows that you're trying too hard and you slip into entertainer mode. There are plenty of threads on how to text effectively, look through those and you'll see where you went wrong.

If you had ever had a chance with her (there's a slim chance you did) you blew it with that text exchange.

Some examples:

"Me: Congrats because I was thinking of you.....I am good....did you have a lot.of quality time with J....? 7:19 PM" - too needy.

"Me: Is your some1 real or imaginary....either way I am not the jealous type... 10:57 PM" - boyfriend destroyer doesn't work well over text. Too try-hard. Don't dwell on her boyfriend situation.

It shouldn't necessarily be all logistics all the time; it's possible to vibe a bit via text messaging. If you've established enough rapport you can use a nickname you came up with for her, insert reference to inside joke to remind her of your fun first interaction. But even then it should be 10% vibe and 90% logistics. Doubly true when you're not great at texting.

There's little to gain from texting and a lot to lose. Most of the time you're giving her the validation and entertainment she craves and getting nothing in return. This lowers your value. At best you secure a date, at worst you put her off. Play accordingly.

Push to meet up with her once again. Do it in a detached way, maybe say it's her last chance. Then learn and move on.

Thanks Caligula....I am trying to change my game from getting lays on 5th meeting to the 3rd meeting....and trying lots of different stuff i am reading here or roissy or gmac's blog....and making lots of blunders in the process....specially in texting...its like tiger woods changing his swing...will workout in the long term....

For learning purposes of others...here is i coaxed her into this thrusday date which will result in a bang sooner or later...I gave her a 30 day silence following my last txt telling her a slight ultimatum based on Caligula's input...sometimes persistence pays...

30 days later

Me: Hey trouble maker whatsup 3:46 PM
Her: No trouble making here. What are u up 2 on a thurs? I took a wk and a half off & currently visiting family. 3:52 PM

3 days later

Me: Are you back in town ? 3:57 PM
Her: Sure am. U2?! 7:35 PM
Me: Yup back to the grind..... So are you still opposed to doing happy hour with me? 10:14 AM
Her: Don't think it would kill me! Lol. Busy schedule till wed. Can we touch base thurs/fri?! 10:16 AM
Me: Ok I am out of town Thu and Friday for work but will ping you. 11:50 AM

If you don't end up meeting this girl on Thursday because she flakes on you (which it seems could very well happen), I would just cut off contact and move on. Usually if a girl is making it take such a gargantuan effort just for you to meet her somewhere, it's a lost cause.

If you do meet her on Thursday probably just push for the bang because you never know if you'll even be out with her again.
