Ever thought of starting an Escort Service Business?

The idea just popped into my head. It seems like an extension of the pimp game.

I've thought about looking into working for one. I"m strapped for cash and buying some nice clothes and being arm candy for some old bat for a night sounds like easy money, though honestly, dont even know where to begin to look for something like that that's "legitimate"

I think kickboxer meant being the head of a female escort service. Not being an escort himself.

Have you guys ever checked out the show "Gigolos" on Showtime? It's about a male escort service in Vegas, and follows five guys as they take various clients, and looks a little bit into their personal lives and how they deal with being in the business. Their "pimp" is a also male. Also, on HBO theres a show called "Cathouse" about Dennis Hof, who runs the Moonlite Bunny Ranch in Nevada. Heidi Fleiss actually tried to get a male whorehouse off the ground in Nevada also...

The reason there are no or very few Male escort services is because there is practically no demand for it.

I tried for a bit here in London, through a guy that ran an Escort agency with girls .
I had 2 engagements over a couple months,obviously not a money spinner.

Running one with girls should work but it's a crowded market , in London being close to Europe there's a lot of talent.

Yep...it's a different dynamic with men and women. Gigolos will never have a steady enough clientele to service - a chick will generally go without than buy it. Even on "Gigolos," I see a common thread. Chicks are either fatties, lonely traveling types, or basically regulars/friends with benefits type arrangements.

Working on something similar right now... though it's closer to a party bus business than escort... maybe a mesh between the two.

Can be super lucrative I'm sure but be careful especially in the States. Get caught up and you could be facing felony charges (by creating a place of prostitution).

Vice trades are quick easy money but almost always come with major headaches. Very often those headaches are further vice and the people that profit from it. Which means you are going to have to worry about mobsters, gang bangers, drug dealers, fucked up women, irate clients, unreliable women, cops, etc.

Pimping is not game. Its exploitation.

Escort agencies and brothels are not exploitation, they are a business. But they are a nightmare to run.

I looked into up market strip clubs. Went as far as looking at local council laws, looking at rents, fit out costs, etc. Some of the best strip clubs I have ever seen were actually in South Africa of all places, and I was keen to do the same. They make the Russians look stupid and even places like SPearmint Rhino in London which is world famous.

Whats different there is that they:

1 - Cover charges apply with strict dress codes
2 - They serve food, but the quality of the food is unbelievable. There is one club in Joburg which actually has people going specifically for their buffet. Im not kidding. It might sound like the last place you would want to eat, but these are 5 star establishments.
3 - The actual clubs themselves are fit out to incredibly high standards with very expensive finishings.
4 - No tips for the girls, they make their money either on table dances or private lap dances.
5 - They are not technically allowed to turn tricks, but many do.
6 - All the women are 8's and above. The vast majority are top notch bitches from EE, South America, Asia and a few locals.

Now whats interesting about the place is that because its so upmarket, people are taking clients there. Its a place to win business and also celebrate business deals. Its a place you take government officials to bribe them. The vast majority of people who are going there are either business people or men with a bit of money to burn. No guys sitting at the front stage putting dollar bills into her thong. So the food and drinks bills alone are immense by South African standards.

The real money comes from the women though, and this is where it gets interesting. A lap dance if memory serves me right was about $75 (not sure with exchange rates). Expensive I know, but thats done in private rooms and all lap dances are private shows. Where the club makes its real money is that it charges the women to dance there. They pay the equivalent of two private lap dances just to get onto the floor for that shift.

If the average shift has 40 women and you run two shifts a day, they clock $12 000 a day or so just from the women who want to dance there. Thats over and above everything they take on the bar and restaurants. One guy in South Africa had 7 clubs called Teazers which were almost at the level I am speaking off, maybe just a rung under. Do the math...

So they created a very upmarket venue that is packed to the rafters full of rich business people. The women clamour to get in front of these guys because on any given night there are going to be a few whales there and they are mostly all top notch.

Now compared to strip clubs in Australia, the difference is like night and day. The clubs in Aus are so shit. You give chicks coupons, half of them are worn out hookers, the patrons are typically tradesmen or middle class schlubs looking for something to add to the wank bank because the wife forgot how to suck his dick.

But thats where the problems start to come in. Living in a first world country, visa restrictions are a nightmare firstly. Then you need to get council permission for the club. Then you need to sort out security, which again is almost always coming from some of the worst individuals in the city. Then you need to find the chicks, which can be done through the clubs in Europe, Russia and South America (hi mafia owners, care to do a bit of business?). Then you need to manage the chicks when they get here and all the problems that will come with. Then you have to worry about skimming and theft. You have to worry about drugs.

The reason the money is so good is because you are treading a fine line between jail, getting clipped or getting badly screwed over. It pays so well because its on the edge.

Escort agencies might seem like a good idea. Easy money, hot sluts around you, etc. But its the idea thats appealing more than the actual business of it.

Here, some pictures of one such club I am talking about.

Have a look at the gallery on this website Cigar Bar, the normal bar, the food area and even the bathrooms. Some of it is a bit 1980's Miami Vice (south african gangsters for you) but you get the general idea regarding quality.

Now what would be typical of these clubs is that the stage areas where they dance is separate, although women mingle with the patrons in this area and provide table dances when paid to do so.

I've known guys that have owned Strip clubs and escort agencies. The drama of dealing with these girls is something you can't imagine - these businesses are what is considered 'headache' money. If you are considering it as an actual investment, there are better avenues with less headaches. I can assure you that.

There are some nice, high-end strip joints on the west side of Manhattan in NYC. Both Hustler (Larry Flynt) and Penthouse opened joints several years ago, and both are going strong. They're large and glitzy, and Penthouse actually houses a top-notch steakhouse (Robert's Steakhouse). And yes, they designed it to be a destination for business people - they want you to eat well, and get "entertainment" all under the same roof.

Score's used to be the top joint for years in NYC, but they ran into some of the problems you discuss in other posts. They were mobbed-up, and we had a Mayor (Rudy Giuliani) that was cracking down on smut. They opened a second location, but had their liquor license revoked after getting raided by the cops after several dancers were suspected of prostitution. Then the liquor board wanted to extend the license revocation to the ORIGINAL club (apparently the board rarely allows owners who have had a license yanked to operate a second location). Score's drew pro athletes and celebs of all kinds, and business types routinely blew thousands a night there. Like you said, more money, more problems. The anti-smut sentiment forced those types of establishments further west near the Hudson River (the government instituted zoning laws that don't allow them near schools, etc., generally trying to make it harder for them to operate). A couple of smaller clubs near the Times Square area have survived, but all of the others got pushed west. The original Scores is the only club still on the east side, and it's under the Queensboro Bridge so it's off the beaten path. Any business where you have to deal with and manage chicks (and damaged ones at that) is a headache. And if it's in a city with a crusading politician, you have to consider if it's worth the ulcers you'll get.

WARNING!

I LOOKED INTO THIS EARLIER IN THE YEAR.

STAY AWAY from any companies and websites who ask for money to join, promising they can get you work etc. It is allllllllll a con.

The only way to do this is to start on your own, somehow. I don't now how.

BUT DO NOT join an agency you have pay to join, even if it's just to ADVERTISE your profile.

As a note of caution to people considering getting into the biz it should be mentioned that the owner of Teazers was shot no less than 15 times (you can never be too sure I guess) by some sort of "business associate".

Even though these businesses are legal, they're still kind of grimy. Certain types of characters are involved, and criminality in and around these types of businesses is common. If you're too successful, competitors may come after you. If you mistreat one of these chicks, an angry boyfriend may take you out. It can be an incredibly lucrative business, but it's full of headaches and nefarious characters.
