My gf has been telling me for several weeks now that she wants to go to church. I think its a crock of shit. She rented out a room in this religious couples house and they would even move in guys in there who were members of the church because "they had no where to stay", even though these guys had full time jobs.

She is very cunning and smart, personally I think she wants to go to church to find a guy. This is a very upscale neighborhood where she used to live and where the church is so there will be single suckers there with money.

I tried to break up with her 2 weeks ago for a different reason but she cried and pleaded with me not to.

I dont want to go to church to protect her from other guys but I also know why she wants to go church. If I let her go alone im only going to allow her to speed up the process. Any ideas?

Church and religion are things I don't deal with. If a woman talks about God this and God that, I say no thanks. I'm honest about it - I'm not religious, and I tell them off the bat. I will not accompany you to church. If she says okay, you know at some point they'll ask you if you'll come. It will simply be one of those things we can't share, and you know it will be an issue. I'd be inclined to end it, because she'll end up seeing someone she meets in church. It's inevitable.
