Lets take a country like Japan, it's an island with a small population but yet its so rich compared to third world countries or any shit island country out there. Hell I would say they are ahead of most of the world including the U.S technologically in civilian infrastructure, health care fields etc. Why is this so?
Again Russia, a country that's not exactly rich but it's cold, had shit roads and infrastructure, had no real warm water ports, lots of poor people, yet militarily at points in history it threatened the major powers of the Western world, equaled the U.S in military strength and stomped all over the Nazi's during WWII. You can't say that for a whole lot of other countries.
You take countries like Turkey, Iran, South Korea, and they were bombed and were major shit holes but they are like really developed now. You also take the U.S during the early 20th centuries and late century and it was a major shithole in a sense but it's still like the most powerful country on the planet with unparelled in innovation. But you take countries like India, some countries in South America and they are still shitholes that aren't going to anywhere in the future. Why is this? Why is this so?
