blogs that deserve more readership

Do you guys have any recommendations for further blog reading? I don't read many (Roosh's blog and a small handful of others are the only ones I read with any regularity), but I'd like to expand a bit. It doesn't have to strictly adhere to game, it can pertain to anything really: travel, cooking, making money, practical life advice, life improvement, language learning, etc.

I'll start it off. I think Gmac's blog is pretty good. Easy on the eyes, easy to navigate, and a nice mix of game advice/story stuff. J.A. Konrath's blog is another one I recommend, especially for the aspiring writer. The dude is a champion for indie-publishing, and I love his rants against the big publishing houses.

What are your recommendations?

EDIT: Oh, one more blog I'd like to recommend. 70's big. Good, good site for those looking to get big and strong. Some of the lifting vids they have are insane. Strong motherfuckers.

Which Pook are we talking about?

So Pook's blog is Danger and play?

There is also another Pook that has a blog called Pook's Mill( Mirror Of The Soul)

Pook's mill is the blog I'm talking about.

Danger and play is a different author.

I have a feeling VKs Empire of Dirt might get less then it deserves simply because he doesn't seem to heavily self promote, his stuff is great

Speaking of cooking, I"ve been slacking in that area, though I've got a good idea for a cooking article in my brain, just gotta knock it out

Crime & Federalism http://federalism.typepad.com/

Believe it belongs to MikeCF -- I don't always agree with a lot of his comments here, but the debate with him forces you to really think; he knows his shit. His blog posts are substantive and well worth reading -- don't try to skim them, or you'll likely miss the point. Read and think.

Xenocrates' blog:

http://xenlogic.wordpress.com/

The best red-pill blog I know of on a variety of different topics. With an IQ over 180, this dude is on another level.

Teacher on Two Wheels:

Although his adventure ended some time ago, it's a really cool blog to read through. It's about a teacher that rode nothing but his bike from Pennsylvania down to Buenos Aires, then cross the Atlantic to S. Africa and rode it all the way up to Egypt. Pretty amazing stuff if you want to read some real travel stories.

Thanks, man.

Not to be arrogant, but if I elaborated on my posts here, you'd agree with me.

On message boards, I prefer throwing out a lot of ideas to developing one idea. I usually take no more than 3 minutes to post, and sometimes the software stops me from commenting, because my posts are too quick. At the blog, I spend 30-60 minutes developing one concept.

Also, I'm usually 5-10 years ahead of conventional wisdom.

My blog goes back to 2004. Issues I was talking about - like overcriminalization - are now becoming mainstream. All the headlines about the feds raiding state medical marijuana facilities? I was on that years ago, too. False rape/alimony/fake child abuse are concepts that didn't get much time before, but are now mainstream.

Not on the social issues re: government. I'm open minded, but I'm confident in my beliefs on the role of government, wall street, etc. We'll likely continue to disagree there, but it's all good.

I'm a big fan of the PLAYING THE DEVIL'S ADVOCATE blog. It is run by a guy who calls himself Advocatus Diaboli.

http://dissention.wordpress.com/

It is the most cynical blog I have ever read. Very dark and pessimistic when it comes to analysing contemporary society. I love it. He also spends alot of time analysing the power structures behind human civilisation. And whether the pain they cause outweighs the good.

And it recently reached 2 million hits. So - there seems to be a readership for this sort of thing.
