So for the past three weeks I have been suffering from immense brain fog. I have not been feeling myself lately and I have had these symptoms:
- Lack of mental clarity
- Forgetfulness
- Confusion
- Depression
- Unable to start a task and finish it
A couple of days ago I got tired and I got sick of it, I decided to change something. I watched this video and I usually HATE hippie bullshit - one of them being the Gluten-Free diet.
But this one guy on Youtube claims that one of the main causes of brain fog is gluten and processed foods, I honestly didn't believe it but I have been feeling so bad I thought let's try cutting all gluten.
3 days in - 90% of my brain fog is totally gone, I can finally feel like that cloud in my brain is gone. I hate to admit this, but gluten may have been the cause, I also cut out porn since a week too so that may have something to do with it and have been eating many probiotics (as the guy in the video suggests)
Apparently the reason for this is that gluten builds up in the gut and inflames it, causing toxins to go to the brain causing the brain fog.
I'm just writing my observations but if you are suffering from this give it a try, it may just be the cure to improving mental clarity and overall better mental well-being, eventually I will go back to eating gluten and see if it comes back - then I can confirm if this is actually true. Has anyone else had this kind of experience?
