Childless women have always been attracted to cats.
Fairy tales of crazy and ugly old witches with cats are hundreds of years old.

I remember reading a long time ago that a cat's face is proportionally similar to an infant's. The theory about cat ladies was that the cats replace babies for them, emotionally/psychologically.
I've also read that toxoplasmosis is really common in places like Brazil, and Brazil isn't exactly known for cat ladies.

Brazil has more stable, more traditional Catholic family structures, so you're going to have fewer cat ladies there, even if many are predisposed to become cat ladies through toxoplasma gondii infection. Cat ladies proliferate in countries where they're both exposed to that bacterial parasite
and to the cultural marxism parasite.
In Brazil or Argentina cultural degeneracy is more recent, you're going to start seeing more cat ladies down the road with more women contracting the parasitic cultural marxist infection in college - exhibit A:
“Nothing is more useful than to look upon the world as it really is.”

Toxoplasmosis...?
Perhaps refer to it as Toxic Femininity.

I personally love cats, and I think womens' affinity for felines can used used for a player's benefit. A quick anecdote:
I tag along to a pregame at an apartment of the friend of one of my buddy's girlfriends. It was like 7 chicks to us 3 dudes (so conditions were already favorable). I put my beer in the fridge and see a cat sitting on the counter. I give a few pets, and pick it up take to the table where everyone is sitting and talking, I said something "this lil fella wanted to join the party." Of course all the chicks are like "OMG haha!" and the girl who owned the place was like "OMG he never let's anyone touch him!" Let's just say that wasn't the only kitty I stroked that night.
