For the past couple of months, I've left forum registration open in the hope that forum quality would improve. This has not happened.
What direction were you hoping for?

Is there any way to prevent low post members from starting topics?
I've noticed a lot from browsing this forum that a lot of low quality topics spring up from those with low post counts.
I feel it would help make more reclusive members(like myself) participate more to earn the privilege to create topics.
It would also help with drive-by trolling. (I.e. topics condemning the forum right from the topic title)
Obviously the newbie forum would be the exception to this.
Also I feel that the Donald Trump thread standard of a 50 post minimum would be a good place to start.
EDIT: I just noticed this is my 50th post. That was just a coincidence and I'm not trying to get myself on a head start.
Make it 75 or 100 I guess.

Thank you. I am very glad you considered it enough to change it back.
