Good and interesting report and well written. Central Africa is interesting for scenery, nature and shit, though. When you say 'nothing to see', it applies mostly to girls. I'm a little bit dissapointed with Cameroun as I wanted to visit it. You have the same kind of problems in the two Congo's, although you can still came if you settle there. These are places where you need to understand the game, build a circle, etc. Assuming it is like the DRC, ofcourse.

@Selembao please do so man, I would love to read it!

@Mundele of course I agree, Africa is amazing for scenery and nature, but even then, I kind of feel East Africa is still a lot better since they have some tourism industry. Cameroon undoubtedly has amazing wildlife for instance, but try organizing to visit without going through a very expensive travel agency and you will waste a lot of time, while in Uganda for instance you can look things up online, find out which hotels are options, how to reach there with the local bus etc. But like you say, these are not so much issues if you are an expat living there, because the others will tell you how and when to do things, you might have a car etc., but if you are just visiting it will be the source of some frustration without doubt.

Btw unfortunate that Congo is once again having its issues, I still hope to go the Virunga once and hike the Rwenzori mountains, now that would be an adventure!

It's all very expensive.

I was able to travel a lot in Congo-Brazzaville because of connections and a car. But traveling in the north of Congo and the jungle of Central African Repulbic is very, very, very expensive. The Sangha lodge in Dzanga Sanga park (CAR) has had multiple awards and been in the top 10 of CNN travel for a few years straight now. It's very remote and the jungle is incredible over there. Lots of forest elephants as well. One of the best places I've seen so far.
I was able to do that for free as a was a fixer for some rich tourists.

I did Virunga last february, climbing the volcano, mountain gorillas and Tchegera island on the kivu lake. It was around 2500 usd for six days incl my return ticket to Kinshasa. Not cheap. But still fine I guess. The lodges were top notch, just like in SA, service impecable and the food was amazing. Staff is really well trained. If it's open and you have the money, you need to go. The whole region is beautiful in general.

Rottenapple's post is a masterpiece and I felt myself on a big adventure in Cameroon while reading.

If blackcesar thinks he can do better, he is free to buy a flight ticket to Douala and report back. But I'm confident he wouldn't make it in Douala more than a few hours.

I've read his Accra and Paris articles on that website he linked to in his signature. I've not read such poorly yet inaccurately written articles since a long time. Blackcesar is no authority.

You need to read it better or not comment. I went to several clubs, all girls were pros there. In total I talked to maybe 10 girls in nightlife for extended time, all were pros, so I decided it wasn't worth my time.

I also went walking around during daytime several times, both in the city as on the beach, didn't see any noteworthy talent. I'm a guy that loves to walk. I'm talking about hours of walking around here.

You know how many malls Douala, the biggest city of the country, has? Zero. How many parks? One, it wasn't close to where I was staying at. You can do some daygaming sure, with 5's or 6's in 35 degree heat at the market watching your pockets and fending off beggars and junkies every 5 minutes. Go give it a try player! It's not like Kampala or Accra.

The difference is I live here and know how to navigate.

I will make it out to Cameroon soon and see how it is.

If you hit the club and its only "pros" its cause you are a Mark.

I mean dawg, 10 whole girls? Why stop there and not go for 11?

It cracks me up when guys come here and then are like "no parks? No malls? How do you even meet girls here??"

I also lived in Africa for several years and currently even live in Central Africa, although I lived before in East Africa. The issue is that you are one of those guys that likes to speak about countries he has never been. Go read my previous posts about Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia etc. Different countries, different experiences. The funny thing is you say I rely on online game, yet I have spent the last year living in a central African country where online dating is basically non-existent, because over half the population has no access whatsoever to internet (oh wait you said Africa has 4G everywhere right in the Kigali thread?) and as many higher rep guys know, I've done perfectly fine. I've banged probably close to a 100 non-pro black chicks in my life, with maybe 40% of nightlife, 40% of online and 20% of other encounters. Feel free to PM me and I'll send you my IG so you can jerk off to some of those girls later on.

The other difference is that you probably have much lower standards than me. Like I said, no issue to bang 5s or 6s of the street in any country in Africa. If that's your thing, good for you, you got plenty of opportunities. Go talk some smooth game at the fish market and see if you can catch something yourself. Not really what I'm after though. I prefer going after the top girls and in Central Africa, yeah you don't meet them in the street and especially not in one week time and indeed most of those girls want money in Cameroon.

Now what cracks me up, is that you are a newbie member, who hasn't written a single datasheet in his life, who talks shit about things he doesn't understand just to generate some interest on your poor blog. Won't work though, I had a look and I write 10 times better than you and I'm not even a native English speaker. Sad!

Btw let us know what African countries you have visited, you are after all the big expert right?

No need to get so worked up my dude.

Based on this thread, youre running into the same problems most guys do when they come to the Continent (cant access quality chicks, cant figure out how to get it, cant make local connects) even if you have been here for years.

To be fair I didnt take the time to build a dossier on you and check back all your writing. So I could be off base.

Also since I havent done Central like that, maybe it really is a shit show like you say. More likely youre just lost though. Or staying out in the boonies somewhere.

Here on the West side my internet is faster than it was in my apartment Stateside.

But even back there my experiences tend to be a bit different from average so I'd understand if you camt get it.

You sound like you're full of shit, honestly. You think because you've been to Ghana, you're an expert on Africa all of a sudden? You don't seem to understand the slightest thing of French Africa.

You right dawg. My experience of coming here, getting in the scene, and skipping all the BS yall seem to deal with... Proly full of it.

But then guys say the same thing about the States and Europe ("SF is so hard", "LA is so Hard", "Paris is dead" etc etc) and I dont really see that angle. Could be im just more comfortable here and have connections to skip all the uneccessary jazz.

Or maybe Im not doing something right and should be complaining about too many pros at the club and giving girls "taxi money" instead of hitting lines and spliffs with the club owners here

^ When using such transportation, the most important thing is arriving alive...
Rottenapple, as you visited the country, did the documentary realistically portray the traffic situation or did they show Cameroon's worst routes and cars?

I used to be friends with a big group of Cameroon expats here in the U.S. They were a fun group of people.
Now I know why they left their country.
