I usually drink about a gallon a day. Unless you force it down your throat you can't really drink to much water

No. Your body will tell you when you have been hydrated. Too many factors to determine what is sufficient ,IE: activities during the day, how acidic you are, how your kidneys are filtering toxins, etc. .. I drink 4 glasses a day, 30 minutes prior to a meal I drink a glass and though it is not necessary, if I eat like shit, it does help to secrete more fluids to pass shit thru.
There is such a thing as water intoxication that can kill you. YMMV.

Yup, I normally consume water based on my eating/activity schedule that day, but usually no less than 3 Liters per day.

Pusscrook, what's your take on drinking specialised filtered water that's passed through a filtration system. I purchased one half a year back and that's all I drink now. It's cheaper than me buying bottled water (cos I drink a lot) and I could swear the water tastes better.

Your thoughts?

That was a good purchase. The argument against such things is that since the county, city already provides you with 'acceptable" standards of "filtered" water form the plant , additional purchases are not necessary. All one would have to do is buy a cheap filter and watch (you can actually see them) the amount of sediment/microbial granules that is caught in the filtering from your faucet to know that not all water is the same. That's a lot bette than relying on the county to provide you with the healthiest water . Imagine the things you can't see. This doesn't mean you will die if you don't have a filtration system, nor does it mean you will be healthier than the next person. I think a lot of people are hoodwinked into buying such systems without understanding the science behind it. I can tell you from personal experience, , I have 2 water ionizers hooked up to my water tanks, and one to the kitchen faucet, and I can tell the difference if I took the filter off, or put it back on. There is a different taste, and a different feel of the water when I shower. Not all filters are created equal ,however , I have saved tons of cash from the hype of "bottled water". Here's another thing you can do, get some water and put it in your favorite pot that you cook in, add some sodium bicarbonate, and tell me what you taste. What you taste ,is what you eat everyday, drink everyday.

My best friend from highschool started this company http://www.hydrosbottle.com/ straight out of college.

Its a water bottle that has a really quick filtration system so you can take it on the go and quickly fill it up in sinks or whatever.

Here is the amazon link, http://www.amazon.com/Hydros-Bottle-Filt...644&sr=8-1

Unfiltered tap water is poison in small dosages that accumulate over time.

I would NEVER EVER drink Unfiltered water. Fluordide, Uranium, Chlorine and TONS upon TONS of other chemicals that effect brain chemistry and the integumentary system are present.

Even showers with UNfiltered water are just as dangerous as drinking tap (probably worse) !

do yourselves a favor and drink RO water or MINERALIZED Distilled water
